We had the cod tongues (which are actually throat meat) deep fried with sea urchin butter. Delicious, tender and rich with flavour. I had the Trident: maple grilled salmon, whiskey & raisin seared scallops and lobster in Noroi orange liqueur and a cream sauce with lobster risotto and veggies. Everything was so tasty! Highly recommended! The restaurant was busy and full of life. Our server was very attentive and helpful. If you're in Percé you need to check it out.

I was disappointed by the food in the region which were very overpriced, small portion and taste being bad. Yet this restaurant is the exception, exceptionally good. The place was busy, we are walk in customer at the time it opens for the day. Reserved tables already have a line up, and the walk in customers also lined up. Eventually, we couldn't get a table, but was arranged with a reservation 1 hour later. The town has lot of gift shops which the time flew and we got in before we got hungry. The service was awesome and attentive. Very friendly staffs and always being helpful. We ordered appetizers and our main meals. We were excited as the reviews and photos all looked great. The fish soup was full of fresh seafood ingredients, a bit too salty and it reminded me of some Asian styled fish soup. But overall not too bad a way to try the local seafood and fishes. The octopus and hummus was not a supreme appetizer as well. As I compared to the octopus I had in Portugal which cooked tender and tasty. Even compared to the octopus I used to get from Costco was more tender as well. However, the mix of hummus to the dish was good, and the hummus was really good! What shine was the main dishes. The lobster was fresh and the lobster risotto was tasty. I wished there were more risotto. The seafood pasta however outshine everything. The pasta cooked Al dente, the sauce was full of seafood flavor and mixed perfectly together. The tiramisu as a finish was too sweet and a bit soggy. But overall a very good experience and probably the best seafood restaurant in the region considering the ingredients, taste, service, restaurant ambiance and price.

The place: Fantastic space that's located inside a house. The design and decor are phenomenal and their terrace is amazing. Also, great music. The goods: We started with the burrata, tomato, basil and balsamic vinegar. We were served the full ball of burrata, though it wasn't at room temperature therefore it was firm (not a huge deal - I just like when burrata is soft and creamy). As far as the tomatoes go, there was literally the equivalent of two cherry tomatoes cut in two, on the plate... For our main, we both ordered the seafood cassoulet, which was sinfully delicious and quite filling. There was a lot of seafood in there, and the rich, creamy sauce was just incredible. Considering how hearty the dish is, I would have preferred a salad or more vegetables instead of a side of mashed potatoes (there were a few veggies served with the dish). My mom wanted to order the chicken however it wasn't ready... Since we were full, we skipped dessert and ordered coffee - I don't know what kind of coffee these guys purchase but it was one of the best coffees I've had in a restaurant. For. Real. Service: OK. Price point: I personally found the prices to be a little on the high end considering what you get.

Let me tell you we were not disappointed! My friend and I are vegetarian and their menu is limited when it comes to meatless dishes, but the dishes are freshly made on the spot so they accomodated us (we had a pasta and instead of pancetta, they put veggies). Food was so good we went back the next two mornings for breakfast where we ordered the caramel apple crêpe, an omelet, a breakfast plate, and eggs benedict where they again replaced the bacon for tomatoes. Super friendly staff as well, very accommodating!

The place: The restaurant is located in this great little house that gives off contemporary beach vibes. Fantastic interior with a minimalist yet homey feel to it. They only have a few tables indoors (but they also have a terrace) so I would suggest reserving if you really want to dine here. The goods: Well, where do I begin? The menu is created on the daily so you don't really know what you'll be having for dinner. On Friday evening, they were serving octopus so that's what I decided to try - I even convinced my mom to try it and she isn't adventurous at all. The octopus was served grilled with a saffron aioli and a mango emulsion + a side of home fries. The dish was delicious and beautifully presented. My mom enjoyed the dish as well, although she insisted the octopus had 'skin' and therefore removed the grilled portion (LOL). We finished with the tarte tatin that was, in a word, to die for. To be fair, our host did walk around with the entire thing after taking it out of the oven - as a way of tempting folk. He didn't lead us astray - it was bloody awesome. Service: Great - the gentlemen who were working on the evening that we went were friendly. Price point: Very reasonable for such delicious food, and on par with the other good restos in the area. If you're in the area, I recommend checking these guys out - you won't be disappointed.

The place: The restaurant is in a large section of the hotel, with plenty of windows, offering a fabulous view of the rock and the fleuve. I particularly appreciated that the tables are spaced out, which means that you aren't sharing dinner with strangers. The decor is what I'd refer to as "classic" and elegant. If you really want to dine here, I suggest reserving a table in advance. We lucked out - we stopped by one afternoon to see if they had any tables free for the same evening, and we were able to reserve one for 5 p.m. The goods: I started with the scallop ceviche, almonds and pineapple. I think there was actually pesto in there as well. The entrée was fresh and delicious, with interesting flavours. The portion was also quite sizeable for an appetizer. Since I went with the table d'hôte option, I also had a Caesar salad, which was also quite good - it had the perfect amount of dressing and didn't 'drown' the salad. For the main, I had scallops with Corinth raisons and saffron (I think) with rice and a lovely salad. The dish was delicious. My mom had the salmon and loved it. We were too full for dessert but thoroughly enjoyed the delicious coffee. Service: Impeccable service from Celine, who was attentive and made sure our water glasses were never empty. We felt like she was only catering to us the entire time we were there. Thank you! Price point: On the high end, but the dinner experience was worth it. The only thing I'd like to mention is that their table d'hôte situation is overly complicated. It would be less complicated if there was one option that included an appetizer, main and dessert + coffee. If you're in the area, I highly recommend making a reservation here even you aren't staying at the hotel. You'll be in for one heck of a gastronomic experience.
