    Crackers with cod butter

Outstanding fresh seafood. Great views. Best location in gaspe. Free wifi. This place is well known as the best restaurant in perce. The seafood is so fresh and delicious. It was my best meal in the entire gaspe region. The cod tongue with sea urchin foam was a perfect greasy appetizer after a long hike. The lobster was so fresh, it tasted like the sea. The cheesecake was phenomenal. The only downside was the service. My server basically plopped the food on my table but never refilled my water, or removed my plates in a timely manner. It also took too long in between courses and forever to get her attention to actually order. I ordered over $100 worth of food for 1 person and she hardly deserved $5 for the 1 minute she spent in total throwing my plate on the table before running away. It was worse service than a typical asian restaurant in s big city. Luckily free wifi helped with this issue. I'll be back for the food if I ever come back to the gaspe. But make sure you have lots of time to eat!

If you're touring around town, plan to make this your lunch or dinner stop. This is the absolute best place to eat and you will not regret it! Get there early for lunch for the best seats in the glass house area with views of the sea. Tables are limited so there and no large groups accommodated for that seating. You can see the Percé rock from your seat in this section. You can get the obvious, fish and chips which comes in a little boat dish (cute!), but Pizza Gaspésienne is well worth a try. The Fisherman's soup was beyond amazing but I don't think there's anything on the menu you won't like. Service was friendly and food came out quick. While this place does look huge, it fills up really fast so you may need a reservation for supper. Access is from the side and the patio is open depending on the weather. Parking is off the main road but you can't get into the restaurant there; employee entrance only. If you like seafood, this is the only place you need to go to!

We are doing a road trip in the Gaspesie peninsula and by far this was our best meal! Everything was top notch! The view is unbeatable , the lovely decor, nice professional service and the food. Very yummy and fresh. Even the kids meals cake nicely plated and presented! We also tried desserts and was great... I was so happy I made reservations 2 weeks ahead it's definitely a spot not to be missed when visiting Perce

We made reservations two days in advance, at 7pm. When We entered we saw other people waiting for table. We sit at the foot of the stairs and beside the service stand. It was not a comfortable table. We ordered seafood pizza and the trident (three kind of seafood in one plate). The waitress suggested a fries with the pizza. However, we didn't get it but still got charged. Pizza was good but we couldn't finish it. Sharing is a good idea for ladies. My plate had risotto, salmon, scallops and lobster claws. Very good of timing to cook. The complimentary appetizer crackers were also nice with fish butter.

What a find. We noticed this place as we drove to our hotel. Everything about the place was 5 stars. Service, deco, food and quality. Good thing is this place is not near home or I would be there every night. Soup, fish and dessert was just awesome. And even though Covid was around this place was packed.

Good food, breathtaking view of the rock ( make sure you sit on the terrace), friendly staff. I have the snail's entrée which counts as a full dish I say. This was the first time I had some and I enjoyed it! Atlantic Cod fish is a species peculiar to this coast and Percé is known to be the hot spot for it. Then I have the cod fish fillet. A very different texture indeed. The portion is too big and I shared mine with my wife. The restaurant is clean, well decorated and cozy. They also have very clean restrooms in case you need one!

Amazing food. Must try if you're in the area. The service was excellent. The scallops were to die for. I had the fisherman's soup with rouille croutons and cheese as an entree. Loved it.

This place, surely, deserves a 5 star. The service was good, she even recommended us not to order too much after 1 big seafood platter. The cream chowder melted in my mouth with 80% of that made of shrimps/clams. And Grilled scallops were incredible. I would come back to Perce just for this.

We loved this restaurant so much, my friend say as he had the best meal he's ever had! We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality service, atmosphere and food. We shared a seafood platter which hat lobster, salmon, scallops, mussels, risotto, vegetables and more. Then we topped off the meal with the most amazing cheesecake...made by pastry chef who has been there for over 33 years. They have a beautiful view, pizza oven and local beer with good selection of wine. We highly recommend this restaurant and suggest making reservations during busy season/times.

    Great food!

Awesome place to have lunch. The fishing boat decor and views are great! Awesome service. We had the lobster and salmon,, both delicious.

It was quite unassuming - a quiet-looking building lit with an "open" sign & with a small sign by road but otherwise unannounced (we wouldn't have found it if not for Google). Beef cheek was pretty soft & quite tasty. The beef taste was quite strong. Seafood Poutine was decent. The fries were pretty crispy. The sauce was mild even for seafood poutine. There was quite a lot of seafood. The curds were OK.

The first evening was great. We were seated promptly, our orders were taken fairly quickly and our dishes arrived soon afterwards. On our second evening, we kind of had the opposite experience. We had made reservations for 7pm, but when we arrived, we were made to wait outside in line... in the rain. 13min later, we were let in. When we made reservations earlier that day, we had asked for seats at the bar. Instead, we were seated at a small table next to the bar, as the bar was full. I had ordered a beer and when the waitress came back for our food orders, she bumped into the table and spilled some of my drink. No apologies given. Just an awkward "oops!" on her part. Overall, it seemed like the staff seemed overwhelmed that evening and service suffered as a result. All of that said, the place has a lot of potential and I'm more than willing to give them another try.

The place: Fantastic space that's located inside a house. The design and decor are phenomenal and their terrace is amazing. Also, great music. The goods: We started with the burrata, tomato, basil and balsamic vinegar. We were served the full ball of burrata, though it wasn't at room temperature therefore it was firm (not a huge deal - I just like when burrata is soft and creamy). As far as the tomatoes go, there was literally the equivalent of two cherry tomatoes cut in two, on the plate... For our main, we both ordered the seafood cassoulet, which was sinfully delicious and quite filling. There was a lot of seafood in there, and the rich, creamy sauce was just incredible. Considering how hearty the dish is, I would have preferred a salad or more vegetables instead of a side of mashed potatoes (there were a few veggies served with the dish). My mom wanted to order the chicken however it wasn't ready... Since we were full, we skipped dessert and ordered coffee - I don't know what kind of coffee these guys purchase but it was one of the best coffees I've had in a restaurant. For. Real. Service: OK. Price point: I personally found the prices to be a little on the high end considering what you get.

Let me tell you we were not disappointed! My friend and I are vegetarian and their menu is limited when it comes to meatless dishes, but the dishes are freshly made on the spot so they accomodated us (we had a pasta and instead of pancetta, they put veggies). Food was so good we went back the next two mornings for breakfast where we ordered the caramel apple crêpe, an omelet, a breakfast plate, and eggs benedict where they again replaced the bacon for tomatoes. Super friendly staff as well, very accommodating!

Beyond that its not worth checking out. If you are willing to pay for an amazing view then you will. You will pay for cheap food and drinks at outrageous prices so that you can sit there and enjoy the view. I ordered the lobster roll which came out on 2 hot dog buns. How much did I pay? $20 dollars! $20 dollars for something I could have made for myself for half the price (at least) and could have then gone and sat at one of the free park benches that were a few hundred yards away. That didn't upset me though because even though they came on hot dog buns they still tasted pretty good. $20 dollars good? No. But I was paying for the view right? Then my margarita came. I can honesty say I have never spent more for a magarita ($13) and I have never had a more disgusting margarita in my life. Again I thought to myself "You are paying for the view". Then I went to pay. Between my Wife and I we bought the lobster roll, a personal pizza, a margarita, and an iced tea. Grand total with tip came to $75. I was so happy to be on vacation and in Perce that the price didn't phase me. Then the waiter told me that they didn't have a credit card machine. In other words I had to pay outrageous prices for my food and my wifes food, get the worst margarita I have ever tasted (which was also less then an shot of tequila from my recollection) and then I couldn't even pay for my $75 dollar bill with a credit or debit card but had to pay in cash. My final verdict. Save your money. Is the view amazing? Yes! But you can get the same view for free if you walk down the beach for 2 minutes. The food tasted good but I wouldn't have paid half the price I did anywhere else for the same food. To top it off I had to pay in cash which is something I don't like to do if i don't have to. I give this place 2 stars for the view seulement. There is no reason why any person should ever agree to eat here just for the price alone. Learn from my misfortune and steer clear. The rest of my experience on the mainland of perce was not much different but my time taking a cruise around the rock and the Island of Ile Bonaventure were quite the exception. My final verdict is don't eat or stay in Perce. Stay and eat elsewhere and you will not feel like you just got screwed out of your money. The sites and tours are really cool but the restaurants and cabins/hotels (especially this one) are not worth even a second of your time. Disgruntled traveler

The place: The restaurant is in a large section of the hotel, with plenty of windows, offering a fabulous view of the rock and the fleuve. I particularly appreciated that the tables are spaced out, which means that you aren't sharing dinner with strangers. The decor is what I'd refer to as "classic" and elegant. If you really want to dine here, I suggest reserving a table in advance. We lucked out - we stopped by one afternoon to see if they had any tables free for the same evening, and we were able to reserve one for 5 p.m. The goods: I started with the scallop ceviche, almonds and pineapple. I think there was actually pesto in there as well. The entrée was fresh and delicious, with interesting flavours. The portion was also quite sizeable for an appetizer. Since I went with the table d'hôte option, I also had a Caesar salad, which was also quite good - it had the perfect amount of dressing and didn't 'drown' the salad. For the main, I had scallops with Corinth raisons and saffron (I think) with rice and a lovely salad. The dish was delicious. My mom had the salmon and loved it. We were too full for dessert but thoroughly enjoyed the delicious coffee. Service: Impeccable service from Celine, who was attentive and made sure our water glasses were never empty. We felt like she was only catering to us the entire time we were there. Thank you! Price point: On the high end, but the dinner experience was worth it. The only thing I'd like to mention is that their table d'hôte situation is overly complicated. It would be less complicated if there was one option that included an appetizer, main and dessert + coffee. If you're in the area, I highly recommend making a reservation here even you aren't staying at the hotel. You'll be in for one heck of a gastronomic experience.
