Two Reviews! Different days We always enjoy our stops at Tito's we came for Mother's Day 5/10 and…read moreit did not disappoint. It took 45 minutes because it was a holiday but so worth it. I ordered the Shrimp Zareandado plate. Servings are large and food was very tasty. I had a lot of leftovers to take home. Only issue I had was that red onions they place under the shrimp had too much habanero and was way too spicy for me. I love spicy but it was overkill. So next time I will request plain red onions. Otherwise my food was delicious. Review 5/31 We stopped in to grab a quick bite before heading home and like always food and service was great. We were seated immediately. My Hubby ordered his favorite Taco with salmon, cheese, caramelizes onion and shrimp and avocado and chipotle sauce. I had the Tito California taco it is a taco dorado with a chili California, cheese and marlin inside the chili, carmelized onions and shrimp avocado and chipotle sauce. So tasty and great flavor with every bite. It is a meal in itself. Love every bite

Got a suggestion from a local guy to try this place. The fam and I packed up and drove out to this…read morespot. It's a short drive from the main drag in Rosarito, but nothing too far. We all had the fish tacos and they are the biggest fish tacos I've ever seen. They had 4 pieces of fried fish and all the trimmings. Honestly, each one of these ta os are a meal in its self. That's all we had this time, but they were great and very affordable. Give them a try I'm sure you'll not regret it!

I saw the high rating for this place and went for it. By coincidence we happen to end up at the…read moresame place Anthony Bourdain ate at. My boyfriend is a big fan of the late Anthony Bourdain so he was ecstatic. We bought our crab and lobsters from the fisherman and brought it here for the ladies to cook. The place is super ghetto fabulous like others have said, nothing fancy about the plastic chairs and the pig hanging out by your feet while you eat. However, one of the best seafood meals I've had in my life. Will definitely be back soon!

Under the white arch between Rosarito and Puerto Nuevo, you will find the quaint fishing village of…read morePopotla. Besides being in the news for drugs and human smuggling, Popotla is known for their fresh, daily caught seafood. Mariscos La Guerita is a restaurant here. Made from leftover lumber and the blue vinyl tarp, this ghetto- fabulous eatery was visited by Anthony Bourdain. To find this place, just look for a banner that says "Antoni Bourdan visits Rosarito Popotla". It's a bit intimidating if you do not speak Spanish. First, purchase your seafood from the countless vendors on the beach. (Fish range from 20-50 pesos per kilo) Once you purchase the fish, take it to the fish cleaning station. They will clean your fish for a tip. ($1 a fish) Take the cleaned fish to La Guerita and they will cook it up to your liking for about 30 pesos a fish. They will provide you with rice, beans, tortillas and an assortment of hot sauces. While you wait, make sure to check out the other stalls for their Cóctel de Mariscos or have a few beers. There must be crack sauce in the oil. Pescado Frito and the fish tacos are among the best I've had. (My wife has tried many times to duplicate the flavor but never can.) Spider crab and the sea urchin not so much. In the winter months, look for the brown box crab. It is better than the Alaskan variety. If you are in Rosarito, Mariscos La Guerita and Popotla is a great alternative to Puerto Nuevo. (Lobster Village) Just make sure you don't need to go to the banos. (bathroom) If you do, it's 5 pesos and a tetanus shot.
