Moved to another place nearby looks so much nicer!

This was my first place ever to have something tailored. In specific, it was a marine colored bridesmaid dress for my cousins wedding that I had gotten from David's Bridal. My aunt had recommended Francois and I am glad she did. He greeted us with a smile when we walked in and was finishing up with another customer. Originally his location was smaller. And it was a lot more cramped in changing in the room. But after I changed, and came out, he walked around me asking how long I needed it to be at; in which I replied a bit short so we could see the heels. He told me to hold the pose with both of my hands around my waist (like posing for a picture). He simply marked the dress a few times all around with white chalk before announcing he was finished. I was a bit astonished at how fast it was, but the time I went to reclaim the dress was quick! It was a moderately pricey, but to me, anything that needs to get hemmed a bit to a specific length requires its own work in time. My advice to whoever wants to give Francois a try like I did, is that you should do a couple months ahead of the event. So if it does not work out, you could at least work to see what it is you need, and what Francois could do. I absolutely love love his change of location. He now is around the corner from his old place and has such a larger space! SO MUCH MORE ROOM!

The first time I came to François' shop LA MODA was shy of my 30th birthday, 4 years ago; instantly becoming my to-go tailor and shop for every formal and business casual garment I own. From fast fashion garment to high-end designer clothes, François is the only tailor I entrust my designs 100%. He will stick to every specification you want on you garment unless he foresees such changes will alter the fabric or pattern on your clothing. You feel like an individual and treated with such familial greetings you know you are in good hands. Don't be surprised if you catch yourself learning a thing or two about life with impromptu and welcomed conversations that easily flow. François and LA MODA are the place to go for your alterations and fantastic, up-to-date gentlemen wear.

Brought my suit in for tailoring by Francois. They did an excellent job. The suit now looks like a $3000 custom suit.

There just aren't enough good things to say about Carla & Ann's Classic affairs!…read more From the moment we walked in, Carla was so warm, kind, patient & welcoming. She made what I expected to be an overwhelming process so easy and exciting. She is someone who really understands the special moments of trying to find your wedding dress. Needless to say, I found my dress that day with Carla's guidance & didn't need to go looking further - and there was zero pressure to do so. With that, she took polaroids of "saying yes to the dress". Then I went home with a goodie filled with cute bridal gear & reminders of when/how to get your marriage license! It was a sweet touch. If you're looking for a bridal shop, please check out Ann's Classic Affairs - you will not be disappointed! Their designs are gorgeous!!

All three appointments (initial try-on, alterations, final fitting) felt so private, peaceful, and special and Carla and the team were all so incredibly kind. I felt like a Barbie princess being so well taken care of as they went all around the room collecting dresses that fit my vision and my budget. I chose Dakota from Casablanca Bridal's Beloved line within one hour, I fell in love with it at the first appointment and will forever be in love with it. It was bittersweet picking up my dress because it meant no more appointments. On my wedding day, my flower girls came into the bridal suite and one of them said "You look like a princess!" which evoked INSTANT tears from one of my bridesmaids. Thank you Ann's Classic Affairs team for such a beautiful experience and being part of the exciting lead-up to our wedding day!!!

We had a very good conversation, and he sincerely apologized for how his comment came across during my son's tux fitting for prom. He explained that the store was busy and stressful at the moment, but he acknowledged my feelings completely and understood why I was hurt by the interaction. I really respected the fact that he personally called me, listened to my concerns, and took accountability instead of becoming defensive. What meant the most to me was his genuine desire to make things right and end things on a positive note. He even refunded the full tux rental, which I honestly did not expect or ask for. That level of customer service and humility deserves recognition. I also want to recognize Vanessa for being so kind and helpful throughout the process. We are all human, and I truly appreciate businesses and people who are willing to communicate, apologize sincerely, and make an effort to maintain good relationships with their customers. Thank you again for taking the time to hear me out and resolve the situation professionally.

The follow through was the disappointment. Although everyone was measured a lot of the sizes were wrong when it came to trying on the suits. The shoes were the wrong color and had to be changed. A couple people asked for "skinny" pants because the casual fit is way too baggy which they said they would do but on the day of pick we were told they didnt have any available. The father of the quincenera who arranged this whole event asked for skinny pants from the very first day that we chose outfits which was well in advance and he still didnt get what he requested and ended up canceling his rental. I couldnt get skinny pants either but wasnt told until day of pick (as were others including my son). Somehow my white button up that i tried on didnt make its way into the garment bag and i ended up having to buy one from Old Navy. You would think they would have seen it hanging there and would have called me back. To top it off they ended up giving me size 13 shoes instead of 12! I went to the party in clown shoes. I think they just didnt have my size available and didnt say anything and just chose the next size up. Overall bad experience when it came down to actually getting out rentals. They over promise and you dont get what you hoped or asked for. Oh...and not only were the vests a different color than what was picked out for the "uncles" matching suits but they got ties instead of bow ties. And all I got from having to wear clown shoes and buy a button up was a simple sorry. Sorry doesnt cut it when trying to look your best and paying $200 for a suit rental. I should have pieced together a discount suit for the price that would fit better. Only reason I didnt was because the plan was to have everyone match.

Absolutely Perfect "Yes to the Dress" Experience…read more Bridal & Tuxedo Galleria gave me a day I will truly never forget. I booked their Princess Appointment and the private bridal suite made the entire experience feel so intimate, calm, and incredibly special. Everything felt elevated from start to finish. Kayla, my stylist, was AMAZING. She was helpful, funny, relatable, and instantly made me feel comfortable. She completely understood my vision and made the whole process feel exciting rather than stressful. Her personality honestly made the experience even more magical. Mercedes was also wonderful -- she helped coordinate my appointment and was there during the fitting offering extra support (while wearing the cutest beret!). The entire team was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the moment special. Trying on dresses was such an adrenaline rush, and there was never any pressure -- just encouragement and joy. The most meaningful part was sharing the moment with my mom, aunt, and grandma -- the women who raised me. Saying "yes to the dress" with them there is a memory I'll cherish forever. To top it all off, I'm honored to be the first bride to wear the designer's dress & veil from his new collection -- such an unforgettable couture moment. We're very much giving couture! #LumiereByNavidNoor Endless thank you to the Bridal & Tuxedo Galleria team for a truly VIP experience. Highly recommend to any bride

If you care about who your money supports and how you are treated, do not use this company…read more The bride tragically passed away five days before the wedding. Despite the circumstances, this company still charged the groom, the bride's father, grandfather, brother, and all of the groomsmen for rental suits that were never picked up or worn. What made this especially disappointing was seeing how every other vendor involved handled the situation with compassion and understanding. Many of those vendors were also small, individually owned businesses that likely felt the financial impact far more deeply, yet they still chose empathy over profit. Even the wedding venue, which stood to lose significantly more financially, either refunded or waived charges immediately upon hearing the news. Instead, this company chose to prioritize collecting roughly $2,500 for rental items they can simply rent out again. Their response during an unimaginable tragedy spoke volumes about their values and how they view their customers. For full transparency, the company offered a 50% refund, but only on the condition that the party send a specific, pre-written statement for their records. They required us to write: "I accept a 50% refund... and I appreciate all the attention provided by Bridal and Tuxedo Galleria." Leveraging a partial refund to force a grieving family to sign a statement of "appreciation" is predatory. It was a calculated move to protect their reputation and mitigate liability while still profiting from a devastating loss. I understand businesses have policies, but compassion and basic human decency matter too. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking here.
