I did notice the store looked different and I thought it was just a simple renovation. To my surprise ,It's now actually a Mis Tios. They have pretty much the same set up in terms of ice cream and desserts. But what I thought was really cool is the actual savory foods they have more options. Back then I would get a cup of equites, and now they have elotes as well. I got a lemon sorbet, and a mango chamoy sorbet with a Tamarid stick. It was so good and I love how they have chamoy syrup on the table so you can always add more to your ice cream. They also had paletas popsicles, I just wish they had more flavor or maybe they were almost out when I went. I did go on a Saturday afternoon. I actually prefer limon paletas. Rather than the sorbet version. The vanilla ice cream was interesting. It taste like vanilla, but it wasn't vanilla bean if that makes sense. I definitely would come here again. The owner and staff are so friendly. My only thing I would say is a little bit pricey for a treat. I only got three ice cream creams and it came out to $30. I also wanted to buy a small fruit cup it was basically $15. I'll have to come here again when I get paid.

Definitely a disappointing experience, hopefully this was just a one off bad visit.

The Small ($6.25) is actually huge and is a good size for sharing if you and a friend want the same flavor. Plenty of free parking. You can ask for samples. You order at the counter and they call your name when it's ready. Be sure to get the loyalty card if you plan to go back. Highly recommend!
