This is by far the most authentic shaved ice I've had outside of Hawaii. The texture of the ice is perfect, the flavors are spot on, and getting it with condensed milk and macadamia nuts takes me right back to the islands. One thing that really stood out is that they source their ingredients from Hawaii. Their li hing mui powder is the real deal--the best I've found anywhere in California. The first time I came in, I asked if I could buy some because it was that good. They said they would've loved to, but they didn't have any extra at the time. Fast forward to today--I came back with my fiancée and asked again, and they actually remembered. They had some set aside for me and wouldn't even let me pay for it. That kind of customer service is incredibly rare. I didn't catch the owner's name, but he was genuinely kind and went out of his way to make our day. They've earned customers for life. If you're from Hawaii and miss the real thing, or if you've never had authentic Hawaiian shaved ice before, you need to come here. I recommend Pau Hana to everyone I know!

Mango is my favorite so I ordered a Mangonada- Mango syrup, Mango ice cream buried on the bottom, diced mango on top, chamomile, Tajik, and tamari a straw. This treat is a little spicy and sweet. I wish there was more mango pieces. I felt it was quite skimpy. I ordered this just for the mangos. The shaved ice was perfectly syruped. There wasn't any white shaved ice peeking out. Under the shaved ice was the mango ice cream. How it was placed you had to eat most of the shaved ice before you can reach the ice cream. Today was only a high of 79 so it wasn't too hot out. Thus I didn't have an issue with it melting too fast. Actually it was only 77 when I ordered it so it didn't melt at all. Parking wasn't too challenging as today is a Sunday.
