Went to this store for the first time customer service is horrible! Manager is also very horrible. I went and bought some things got doubled charged they were unprofessional about it. Told me it would take 24hrs still haven't received anything. I called the manger and she had a teller tell me she was to busy to assist me. Do not recommend at all. read more

Hmmm, really wanted to like this place, but it was underwhelming. I have come to this store about three times, and each time is the same. This is a large building, and there is a lot of space, but they don't have the products to fill it, and what you end up with is a lot of shelves with the same products. They didn't sell fresh tortillas, the produce section was quite small and not impressive, and I didn't find anything I was actually looking for. I wanted pork cracklings, chile, tortillas and fresh peppers. I ended up buying queso fresco, some cinnamon and some mexican candy. But to be honest, I could buy all of that at Walmart. So hopefully they will talk to the customers and start ordering ingredients that are in demand, and are unique to Mexican food. There is a growing Mexican population, and they are really missing the mark here. read more

Used to be a regular customer, but last year they sold me "Guamuchiles",with mold. I came back to try to get a refund and while waiting to speak with a Manager I check the other guamuchiles on display for sale and they also had mold,I pointed this to the manager and they immediately took then out of display and told me that they will give no refund since I brought the guamuchiles the day before right in the afternoon, this was the following morning when I came back since they where close when I noticed the mold. It is so nice to have specialized stores in relatively small towns like Wenatchee. If you're looking for some specialized Hispanic/Mexican products, you might be able to find what you're looking for in La Mexicana. This does seem to be more of a local shop since I have seen this chain located anywhere else I've travelled to, so it's nice to support local places. This store is relatively small, but it has a little bit of everything. There are a decent amount of Hispanic snacks and candies. I'm so happy to have found duritos (wheat snack) here. These are basically the vegetarian chicharrones. They are pretty good with some lime and Valentina sauce. Anyways, there's also a little bakery section. They have lots of baked goods from cookies, conchas, etc. The meat that you can buy from butchery section looks amazing. The quality seemed to be very good. If you're looking to get some beef for carne asada, I would definitely recommend coming here. Right in between the bakery section and the meat section, there is a cooked goods section. They don't seem to have many options, but they have tamales. The tamales are pretty decent. They have a savory masa and tender meat. It's a little salty, but that's a good thing in my opinion. You can get a pork or chicken option. While there are lots of nice things here, I was really hoping they would have a bigger produce section. I really wanted to buy some specialty fruit like guava, etc. But, they only have your standard fruit here (apples, oranges, bananas, papaya, etc). That isn't a bad thing, I just wished that there was a little more. Also, I may not have looked hard enough, but I don't think that they have raw tortillas here. I definitely prefer these over the pre-cooked, packaged ones. So, I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find any. read more

Although it didn't have the fresh tortillas we were looking for, it did have just about everything else. It has a nice bakery with all the expected Mexican baked goods, a nice meat counter, fresh veggies and several isles of Mexican products. I had no intention of buying spices, but I ended up picking up several that I thought were a good price. Nice staff, good experience. read more
