A second spot has opened up in West Valley, and a welcome sight it is! The footprint of the place isn't huge, but the ambiance is lovely and the impact will be lasting! My wife is half Chinese, so Asian markets have always been a staple for her. Going in here, we found tons of different options for noodles, great candies, great drinks, spices, soup bases, frozen food, meat and produce! Finding 2 brands of Chinese sausage was brilliant! The folks who work here are very friendly, and knowledgeable about what they have. They'll also look to order things you're interested in, if they don't have them. Driven by them for several years, and glad we finally gave them a try. Great place for Mex products, and on my short list for a sit-down deli spot next visit to ML. Located on the main street of Wenatchee, Wenatchee Natural Foods offers organic, sustainable items, with lots of locally made products. It's not the largest grocer, but the selection was fantastic. We were able to get some grocery items here during our weekend trip and also tried the items that they prepare at the cafe area towards the back of the store. At the cafe area, they have a large menu of different drinks, with smoothies that are worth checking out. I loved the chocolate smoothie, which they make with almond butter and vanilla whey, so it's naturally sweetened. I also ordered a bowl, which you can make based on the different ingredients they offer, like a base of rice or beans, with different proteins and veggies. I customized my bowl with rice, curry chickpeas, avocado and steak and seasonal veggies and it served as two meals, which was delicious. For those wanting to dine in, they have a seating area on the side of the store, with outdoor seating where it's dog-friendly. It's a win for Wenatchee to have a store like Wenatchee Natural Foods, offering a great selection of healthy, wholesome items in a community-centric setting.
