I ordered agua fresca de pepino (cucumber lemonade), and they brought it to me with a side of thin tostadas, warm green salsa, garlic mayo, lime and a side of drinking consommé. For a starter I got the shrimp ceviche with tostadas, and filet of tilapia a la Veracruz. Everything was very tasty! I loved the ceviche which had mango in it! Also, the agua fresca came in a huge glass, much more than I could drink during a meal so I got a to-go container for that in addition to my more-than-enough meal.

I rate a good seafood place by how their fried fish is. I ordered the Fried Fish Plate and was really disappointed. The fish is literally 1/4-1/3 of the thickness of a regular fish fillet anywhere else. There was more breading than fish. The fillet is ultra-thin. The side are ok and cant complain, but what really pisses me off is you ask for a glass of water and they bring you a bottle of water to charge you for it. Also they want to sell you the lemonade so they can charge you $7 for every refill. Maybe also if they could lower the volume of music. I dont know what it is in Laredo that everyone wants to listen to loud music when theyre eating. WTF! Wont be back.

At first I thought I wasn't going to be enough food, but halfway through I realized I had ordered plenty and I am a fat guy who likes to eat. The meals with tea were approximately $35.00 each which wasn't bad for what we had. Next time o returned to Laredo I would definitely think about returning.

How is it that they miss my order when they had 20 plus minutes to prepare it. And it was not lunch or dinner rush. You need to hire competent employees. I'm hoping I don't get sick from eating this trash! Do better or just don't do it!! Not everyone in town is complacent enough to give this trash heap of a place a 5 star rating. This is ridiculous. I am not coming back here. And in all honesty we all need to stop making these badly run and expensive places rich. We deserve better than this trash. Don't settle for barely edible food and bad service. Demand more from these uncaring owners. And I'm includeding all local restaurants. The menu online looks spectacular and had a lot of interesting dishes. I was super excited. I saw that they were open late and I was also very happy about this because my meal was after work. I arrived at 9:30 walked in the side entrance and saw a post hunched over and squatted down, looking at her iPhone. I also saw another employee leaning on the host stand talking to her. He didn't greet me neither did she until I walked to the front of the house stand. She got up from her crouch position and said can I help you? I was surprised to see what she was wearing, an oversized hoodie with some type of logo on it, which was not an appropriate thing to wear, and it did not match the other employee that were more crisp. I said dining for one and grabbed a menu and slid it across the host stand out of pure laziness. She slumped her way over with the menu hanging on her left side and sat me at a table. Wow what a lousy first impression for a restaurant that I was so excited to visit. A server came over gave me a menu and brought me water. Disappointed to see that the menu was completely different from the menu that I saw online. No unique dishes and the variety was not great. However, I was there and felt I'd give it a chance. A server that was at the bar entering tickets or something, kept looking over at my table, but no one ever acknowledged me after I was seated. I waited for about 10 minutes until someone realized I need assistance. The server finally came over. He was polite to check my order served my meal left me to be on my own to check on me one time, but it certainly wasn't a two minute check when he should to see if my meal was to my satisfaction. My plates were not cleared and I had to ask for the check.. the food was OK. I had the salmon. Nothing spectacular. risotto was uneventful. Got my check and left. No goodbye, no thank you for coming in no stand out service.
