This location is across the street from my hotel so I got my daily latte from here. Tje coffee drinks are good and the pastries are good.

Great London Fog and their quiche both type they have were amazing. I've never had quiche like that. It's definitely not an American quiche! I'll never forget that quiche is was so light and creamy in texture. Came here every morning while staying The Fairmont. I also loved the chocolat et Amandes croissant while my mom enjoyed the Amade croissant. Service was great and the staff are friendly.

As someone flying in from the land of obesity and bald eagles, we were a little worried about having no French knowledge, however, the servers knew how to speak American football and freedom, and were kind enough to help give directions along with providing a non dairy option for my lactose intolerant brother. All that aside, I would love if we had this kind of cafe in Cali. This place is nice on the eyes, it's pretty small, so definitely a place I would gate keep, and the coffee was really good. Of course, we always appreciate a little bit of coffee art so thank you so much for having us!

A yummy afternoon snack from here.

This is a popular bakery chain in Quebec City and we saw two of their locations on our touristy walk about town and in the vicinity of Fairmont le Chateau Frontenac. We just wanted a light snack around mid-day and it worked well for us. This location was crowded but the line moved along and we were even lucky enough to nab a table for 4. We just tried a sampling of 4 items - a chocolate almond croissant, a cinnamon bun, a waffle, and a small custard pie. They were all fine, except for the waffle which was a bit dried out.

Needed a quick bite close by before I checked out of my hotel. Ordered the spinach feta pastry and they kindly warmed it up for me. The yogurt parfait was vegan and was surprisingly tasty if you like coconut. The London fog was great as well. The ladies who worked there were helpful and friendly.

Went to have a coffee and chocolate croissant. The iced latte was delicious, but I was disappointed in the chocolate croissant. It seems that they may cook them the day before, because it wasn't airy and fresh. It was also sticky on top. They do have huge croissants and a good offering of pastries and sandwiches. I am used to pain au chocolat in France and these did not meet the French standards. The service was good and it's a very cute spot. The outside patio looks like a nice place to enjoy some breakfast.

Got the latte glacé and 2 macarons (hazelnut and pistachio. The latte was a bit watery, the macarons were good (hazelnut was excellent, pistachio had really good flavor but was a bit too sweet)

Tres bon service au comptoir avec des employés efficaces et agréable.. Le café corsé et le bagel déjeuner furent tres bon. Bel atmosphere de café. En plein vieux quebec

Great service and friendly staff. I popped in to grab a hot chocolate and the prices are really fair for the area. They also had a lot of snack and food options as well!

A nice spot for a quick bite and respite from all the walking. We shared a croissant and mushroom soup. We also had a capuccino and lemonade.

Came here early before the morning rush and so there were plenty of seats available. Service was great, they gave us plenty of space while we looked and decided on what to get, plus they offered to heat up the croissants. The size of the croissants were huge! Although taste and texture was so-so, it was missing that buttery flakiness that I would have preferred. Drinks were decent, they had a nice selection of teas to choose from and the latte was a good pick me up.

Great selections of croissants, quiche, French pastries galore! Love the ambience & the service was great! Can't wait to go back:)

Delightful stop for coffee and a sandwich or pastry. Very busy when we went but the bilingual staff was pleasant and efficient.

Picture this: soft snow falling on the cobblestone streets of Petit-Champlain, fairy lights glowing, and the warm light spilling out of this beautiful little café. I ducked in both mornings of my short trip and could have happily stayed all day. The interior is perfect Québécois charm: exposed stone walls, wooden beams, cozy lighting, and that unbeatable smell of fresh baking. First morning I ordered the pistachio latte and the quiche Florentine. I would legitimately sell my firstborn for that pistachio latte: silky, perfectly balanced, with a rich, natural pistachio flavor that no syrup could ever match. One sip and I was ruined for life. The quiche was flawless: buttery, flaky crust, creamy spinach-and-cheese filling, baked to golden perfection. Absolute breakfast heaven. I braved a full-on snowglobe blizzard the next morning just to come back. This time I paired the same life-changing pistachio latte with the almond croissant. I'd hand over my other kid for daily access to these croissants (kidding... mostly). Impossibly crisp and flaky outside, cloud-soft inside, generously stuffed with fragrant almond paste, topped with toasted almonds and powdered sugar. I ate it slowly by the window while the snow piled up on Rue Notre-Dame and honestly felt like the luckiest person alive. The baristas were friendly, the vibe warm and unhurried, and everything was flawless. If you're in Quebec City, make La Maison Smith non-negotiable (and budget time to visit at least twice). Five stars isn't enough. This place is winter-morning perfection.

Personally, it was a treat for me trying out something different, but I do not think everyone would appreciate its almost raw meat and liver-like texture. The Tartare comes with fries, a salad, and crouton to round up the order. We upgraded the side of fries that came with the Tartare into their Tout Cochon poutine. I was happy with that option that way I was able to sample their house poutine without needing to dedicate a full meal order for it. I can say this was among the best poutines I have had. The gravy was rich and flavourful. The poutine was also loaded with a variety of different proteins like the Gaspor farm ham and the bacon-wrapped sausage. The perron cheese curds also perfectly topped off the whole dish. Our last order was the Quebec pork chop marinated and grilled with maple and tamari. It was served with apple chutney, sweet potato mash, and seasonal vegetables. It is exactly as you would expect with the ingredient details of the dish's name. You get a lot of different flavour profiles and textures with the meal order. Some saltiness with the pork chop then some sweetness with the apple chutney. Meaty tenderness with the pork chop, mushiness with the potato mash, and then some slightly crunchiness with the seasonal vegetables. We dined on Sunday lunchtime the day before Family Day. There were people waiting to be seated by the time we arrived, but fortunately our group of only 2 people has a table spot available so did not need to wait. We were led down flights of stairs to the lower floor which was level with the street below. The whole place with its classic walls and decor exudes with classic charm.
