Great prices. Awesome coffee and friendly staff. Well done. Indoor and outdoor seating with street parking.

Great place for a good cup of coffee when visiting QC. I also really enjoyed my chair here. Helpful attentive staff. Simple menu with some cool shopping options and fresh beans. Roaster right there visible when you walk in the door and so aromatic. Two little bar seating options indoor and a bench or two outside.

Friendly staff and delicious coffee. They roast their beans right in the shop. We got two cappuccinos and a macchiato. All were fantastic.

Truly one of the best cold brews I've ever had even tho it didn't have ice

Amazing coffee - great service. This stuff is diesel. I loved the cold brew. Very cute spot. Good location. The coffee is next level. I will be back when I return to Quebec! Smooth and intoxicating coffee! Giving me life!

Visiting a coffee roaster while visiting old Quebec! The coffee was nicely made for both the flat white and the pourover! Especially the pourover, it's so intense with the floral/fruity flavour but yet without much of bitterness which is a nice balanced cup of coffee. I ended up buy a bag of the same bean so I can make one at home too... also the baristar is willing to share a few pointers so I can try to repeat the same cup at home!! Thank you ! Definitely will visit again before i leave old Quebec!! This place should be worthwhile if u like coffee!

Coffee lovers ...you will not be disappointed. Coffee is roasted in house with various coffee preparations...coffee is smooth, strong. Great staff! Favorite coffee shop in Quebec City.

Minus one star for almost no choice of bakeries. They only have 4-5 kinds of croissant. Apricot, almond, chocolate croissant. And they are okay not supreme nice. For coffee, yes. For coffee and dessert, maybe not

C'est tres bien. It's wicked good. Came here on business as recommended by the staff at Le Capitole and I had the court espressos all week and did my work from here. The music is so good and the staff is extremely friendly. I also had a croissant and it was mind blowing. Holllllla

Picture this: soft snow falling on the cobblestone streets of Petit-Champlain, fairy lights glowing, and the warm light spilling out of this beautiful little café. I ducked in both mornings of my short trip and could have happily stayed all day. The interior is perfect Québécois charm: exposed stone walls, wooden beams, cozy lighting, and that unbeatable smell of fresh baking. First morning I ordered the pistachio latte and the quiche Florentine. I would legitimately sell my firstborn for that pistachio latte: silky, perfectly balanced, with a rich, natural pistachio flavor that no syrup could ever match. One sip and I was ruined for life. The quiche was flawless: buttery, flaky crust, creamy spinach-and-cheese filling, baked to golden perfection. Absolute breakfast heaven. I braved a full-on snowglobe blizzard the next morning just to come back. This time I paired the same life-changing pistachio latte with the almond croissant. I'd hand over my other kid for daily access to these croissants (kidding... mostly). Impossibly crisp and flaky outside, cloud-soft inside, generously stuffed with fragrant almond paste, topped with toasted almonds and powdered sugar. I ate it slowly by the window while the snow piled up on Rue Notre-Dame and honestly felt like the luckiest person alive. The baristas were friendly, the vibe warm and unhurried, and everything was flawless. If you're in Quebec City, make La Maison Smith non-negotiable (and budget time to visit at least twice). Five stars isn't enough. This place is winter-morning perfection.

Personally, it was a treat for me trying out something different, but I do not think everyone would appreciate its almost raw meat and liver-like texture. The Tartare comes with fries, a salad, and crouton to round up the order. We upgraded the side of fries that came with the Tartare into their Tout Cochon poutine. I was happy with that option that way I was able to sample their house poutine without needing to dedicate a full meal order for it. I can say this was among the best poutines I have had. The gravy was rich and flavourful. The poutine was also loaded with a variety of different proteins like the Gaspor farm ham and the bacon-wrapped sausage. The perron cheese curds also perfectly topped off the whole dish. Our last order was the Quebec pork chop marinated and grilled with maple and tamari. It was served with apple chutney, sweet potato mash, and seasonal vegetables. It is exactly as you would expect with the ingredient details of the dish's name. You get a lot of different flavour profiles and textures with the meal order. Some saltiness with the pork chop then some sweetness with the apple chutney. Meaty tenderness with the pork chop, mushiness with the potato mash, and then some slightly crunchiness with the seasonal vegetables. We dined on Sunday lunchtime the day before Family Day. There were people waiting to be seated by the time we arrived, but fortunately our group of only 2 people has a table spot available so did not need to wait. We were led down flights of stairs to the lower floor which was level with the street below. The whole place with its classic walls and decor exudes with classic charm.
