I was laughed at and even humiliated. I had to carry heavy merchandise and set it on the floor. I had an injured arm and was pressured to hurry up and leave. I was too tired to argue so I left. I never felt so bad after shopping many times at this store. It makes me not want to come back.

Because this isn't the biggest mall on the island we usually find a lot of products that are sold out of other chain retailers here. The mall has a good selection of chains and independent stores. The parking lot has adequate parking and serval entrances. The malls entrances all have hand sanitizers and social distancing spacing stickers. Every store we visited had there staff following all safety guidelines.

One of the anchors has closed, so for now they only have three major stores. Inside the mall it was very clean, well-lit, and roomy. Outside there is a lot of parking available, and the mall is hard by major expressways so getting here and back is easy. Located right on the edge with entrances inside and outside of the mall are some nice restaurant chains - we went to the Baton Rouge steakhouse connected to the mall. While a mall is a mall is a mall is still true, this one was pretty nice with middle quality stores throughout. Loads of eating places near the center portion of the mall.

La semaine passe, aucune nouvelle du livreur. Je rappelle au moins 5 fois dans une journée, finalement quelqu'un répond pour te dire finalement on va faire des recherches et vous rappeler dans 15mn. On est rendu lundi et ils ne m'ont jamais rappelé. Ce magasin est déconseillé.

I am satisfied with the sale and service offered. Owner is devotedl and respectful of his customers, would recommend them anytime. After sale service is provided. Staff is pleasant and helpful all the time.

TL;DR/The Short Version: One of the few department stores…read moreleft in Montreal. I like the pretty displays and the large selection of products. The Long Version: Full Disclosure: my rating is heavily influenced by nostalgia. I love The Bay (called La Baie in the province of Quebec). It's a Canadian department store. To be accurate, it was called The Bay from 1965-2013 (La Baie in Quebec 1972-2013). In 2013 they rebranded to Hudson's Bay/Baie d'Hudson, which I suppose brings it back to the original name of it's first store in 1881 (in Winnipeg, not this one in Montreal) which had the same name as its parent company: The Hudson's Bay Company. However, in my heart it will always be The Bay. When they rebranded, they dropped the stylized B and the yellow script for a more block letter logo in black. The stylized B in yellow script is the logo of The Bay from my childhood, so I'm so happy that this La Baie location in downtown Montreal has retained it. This location has a Coach store inside it and was where I bought my first Coach bag so many moons ago (my first bag that cost more than $30, lol). This location has also been the site of FAO Schwartz pop-up stores, where Canadians can get items from the legendary American toy store. Growing up there were so many department stores, but the likes of Eaton's and Simpsons have long closed. So I'm happy that The Bay is still around. Their regular prices are quite high, but they often have sales where their items are marked down. Those of a certain vintage will remember "The Bay Scratch and Save Days" where they gave out scratch cards (like the scratch lottery cards, lol) and you could get 10%-50% off your purchase. If you are sensitive to scents, you may want to skip their fragrances section on the main floor. Walking through is very much like those typical scenes in movies of department stores where beauty counter workers spray perfume on customers, although they don't spray it directly on you like in the movies, they spray strips of paper and give them customers. But that first floor is olfactory overload! Lol. The flagship Bay store in Toronto is my favourite, but this location in Montreal comes in second :) Review #14 (2025)

It is the flagship brand of the Hudson's Bay Company, the oldest and longest-surviving company in North America as well as one of the oldest continuously operating companies in the World. Founded on 2 May 1670, the Hudson's Bay Company opened its first department store in 1881 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The chain operated under the company name before being rebranded to The Bay in 1965. As of August 2021, Hudson's Bay operates 86 locations in seven Canadian provinces. The full-line department stores focus on high-end fashion apparel, accessories, and home goods; flagship stores carry a bigger range and selection of goods than typical locations. The flagship stores are often multi-story, historic buildings and are located in Canada's largest cities (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa). So this one in Montreal is multi-story and you can spend hours browsing through all the different departments. Well stocked and well lit, it's a nice place to shop.

This time i found a table runner for my mom, which I'm sure she is going to love since it has all these fancy chickens on it! By the way the prices on these items were great even before the conversion! The store is very spacious, the use of the space is great. I like how when you are on the second floor one can look down and see almost the entire store. Great if you need to spot your shopping companion. They also have wifi, which is a great added bonus when traveling.

I used to sell yarn and fabric, so I loved the different textures and materials on display, from a luxuriously dense knit sweater to an elegant silk blouse. The design of each item was trendy but approachable -- I am a jeans and t-shirt kinda lady but I saw things I would wear. So why didn't I come home with a whole new wardrobe? Price, of course, sigh. Les Étoffes is definitely a special-occasion boutique, and alas I was only sightseeing. While I was there, though, a young man was trying on shirts and mentioned that he was making his first L.E. purchase. It seemed like he'd been looking forward to that day for a while.

I often find brands sold at Sephora for a fraction of the cost. Just beware that the mascaras are sometimes dried up, but I've had good luck with all other make up items. I ordered the dress on a Thursday morning, paid for standard shipping and assumed it would arrive sometime next week since I live in Alberta. Imagine my shock when it arrived the NEXT DAY. Opened it up and everything was beautifully wrapped in ribbon with a beautiful note to boot. The dress is gorgeous - it will definitely need some hemming but I could not be more thrilled. I 100% will be buying from here again.

I was ready to drop over 1000.00$ for my wedding dress & 5 brides maid dresses and they didn't seem to care. waiting almost 25 minutes to check out, and the cashier wanted to give me the sample dress without a garnet bag... the dress was worn multiple times and not so white anymore. I asked if I could get a new one as she rolled her eyes and walked away to get a brand new one. again the prices are good, just don't have high expectation for customer service.
