Me and some friends wanted a quick bite on this place was super packed for lunch. The ambience felt like a cute little French café. The service was good, but you can absolutely see that they're trying their best and they were slammed. The food was pretty decent. It's nothing that you would crave and go back again for. It's not a bad little spot to go eat. I think I would enjoy it more if I just grabbed a coffee and a book and a table outside.

As soon as you come in, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Food was pretty decent and it's a cute vibe inside.

Sad day for Madeline. They got rid of their sea salt baguette and instead replaced with a croissant I asked about it and they said that, indeed, the sea salt baguette has been discontinued. La Madeline is dead to me

After passing by la Madeleine soooo many times we finally decided to stop by for a late lunch. The food is OKAY. It taste good, but it's just not fresh. Service is okay as well. Not much interaction with staff other than ordering food in the counter, then they deliver to your table but service could be better. We tried: Chicken Cordon Bleu Baked Pasta: Gruyere, white cheddar and Parmesan cheese sauce over penne, chicken and diced ham. The better one out of the two entrees we tried, at least served hot. Balsamic Glazed Salmon: Balsamic-glazed salmon with rice Provençal and steamed broccoli. Tasted okay, rice was mushy and unfortunately served cold. Strawberry Nutella Crêpe: Strawberries and cream topped with drizzled Nutella, shaved chocolate and whipped cream. Definitely the best thing we had here! The restaurant itself looks really nice and clean, and theres plenty of parking!

Managers at La Madeleine's Bakery Mall of GA having a business meeting right next to me and would not stop talking so I could enjoy my lunch

I absolutely love La Madeleine's Mall of GA. The food is delicious and the place spotless. The staff is so friendly. I would have given a 5 star review except I could not believe the managers came to a table beside me going over restauarant business. I hit the roof so to speak and ask the food delivery girl to take my receipt of $32 to the manager and tell him I thought it was improper for him to be sitting next to me while I am trying to eat lunch with my son and could not even have a conversation for this guy talking out loud about business. The big guy in the video did get up and come over and apologize. They left and moved to the private room! Why did this happen today? What were they thinking.

I've driven past La Madeleine and it's always caught my attention so this morning I decided to check it out, The food here was good! It's very basic nothing too fancy! I give it a 3 not because it wasn't good just bc I most likely will not come back. They gave me my salad at the register and my food came out about 20 mins after The ambiance is nice in here it's very French

Absolutely love this cafe! Their Ham and cheese croissant is so good! Their lattes and hot beverage drinks are absolutely delicious. The food is always fresh and hot, made quickly, and they the staff are nice. They have their own parking and inside seating. I have tried a little of everything from their menu and have not been disappointed yet.

Terrible cooking today. Their highly rated French toast came looking like it was made by a child. Really heavy on the eggs, soggy, and not tasteful. Will NOT be ordering from here again.

Not bad, but is it truly a French restaurant, no. It's basically the Panera of French cuisine, but I'm okay with it. The croque monsieur was in need of more ham and cheese, the flavor was there but the contents were scarce. The coconut cream cake was delicious and the salad had way too much dressing. Ordered the French dip to go and they forgot the au jus, which made it a very dry ordeal. The service was fast and their workers are really friendly though.

Stopped by here for a quick breakfast with friends before catching our flight home. Breakfasts run about $14 per person.. well with coffee. I enjoyed the layout of ordering your food at a counter and then having it brought out to you once ready. This way you don't have to additionally wait for a waiter to take your order in the first place. I ordered a palmier, which are commonly known to us as elephant ears and was handed it at the counter along with empty coffee cups to fill ourselves as a separate station. That elephant ear was light and flaky, sweet and delicious. Speaking of those four things, so was the croissant that came with your meal. Coffee was decent considering the specialty coffee machine was out of order...I could have gone for a latte. I ordered the Country French Breakfast - Two eggs cooked-to-order (I got scrambled), Potato Galette, bacon or sausage & a butter croissant. Actually I ordered two of these, one for my husband as well. One was supposed to have bacon, the other sausage. When they both came out with sausage, it was no bother and we just kept it. As another reviewer mentioned, you could tell the scrambled eggs were scooped out of a previously cooked container, not made-to-order as it said they would be. I don't know what the hell was in that potato galette, but it was absolutely delicious. All in all, this was a great spot for breakfast and the perfect send off from our trip down south.

It has a relatively low rating but it's wayyyyy better than that for breakfast. In fact, the food is really good. Then again, I just get The American Breakfast, which for me is two scrambled eggs extremely well done, bacon, a croissant (French accent here), and something else but I don't remember what it is--despite being here twice. Yes, I brave the Georgia cold (no jacket/never a jacket) from a local hotel. I go through three parking lots, jump over a bush on a downhill slope, cross the street, then order American food from French people. It's quite an experience. I know I get a cookie to eat after but that's just a reward for my adventurous nature. Toast! That's what it is. Toast! Good toast! The reason for the 4 is two instances where the waiter-person (not sure if actually a waiter) wasn't friendly. However, everyone else who works here is super friendly--they even smile! So, maybe it wasn't the service. I think maybe it was that the eggs were super well done first time (a good thing) and slightly wet the second time (not good). Overall, recommended.

Chicken la Madeleine with a large cafe latte. Healthy brunch option. The broccoli was bland

I was tempted to try the blueberry cheesecake crepe, but it was a little too early for that. The service was good. Similar to Panera Bread, you get in line to order and take a number to sit down. The food will be brought out to you. We come here time to time typically for their coffee more than the meals.

It's a nice place

The food is good. Really good. Downside? They didn't give us menus when we walked in. And there was a line. On a Sunday. Expected I'm sure. But they should've had somebody collecting the menus that people took to read, once they had their food ordered, so they could be placed back for others to see. It really held up the line when people didn't know what they wanted, like me. LOL. I ended up getting the French toast that was made out a cinnamon rolls. Super super sweet. But super super good. I also wish that they had a notice on the door or some thing that said they were out of specialty coffees like cappuccinos and macchiato's, because the machine was broken. That was one of the big reasons we came here, so I settled to have to go without coffee because I didn't feel like having American style. All in all it was a good experience. Again, super busy, but the staff was very helpful and nice.

Tasty food Healthy and delicious?

The food is good and simple. This is not a 5 star restaurant but it gets the job done. About as healthy as any other place. Not fast food, the food is not fresh but frozen. Just like all corporate resturants.

Lol I placed my order at 5 AM for an 8:15/8:30 AM pickup, and they still managed to pack everything like they were preparing it for royalty. Let mama break it down for you! Berry Tart: This tart walked in looking like it pays rent. Gorgeous, glossy, and so pretty I almost apologized before cutting into it. Clients loved it. My kids loved it. Strawberry Soft Cream Cake Slice: My 2‑year‑old (CEO of Strawberry Obsessed Galore) approved immediately. Every layer had actual thick strawberry pieces, not those sad little bits that makes you wonder if there were even strawberries in here or just mushed up pieces... Sweet, creamy, NOT overly weak and a total show‑off. We devoured it. Fruit Pastry & Raspberry Fruit Bite: Flaky pastry + custard + fruit = the holy trinity. These two didn't miss. They understood the assignment and executed flawlessly. Curry & Crab Croquette: I'm team CRAB croquette. It was loaded, crispy, and basically winked at me. My colleague, however, acted like the curry croquette was a spiritual experience. Pretty sure his eyes rolled to the back of his head..HAH. Both are winners! Pepperoni Pizzetta: My 4‑year‑old took one bite and immediately rejected Papa John's. That's the entire review. Case closed. Iced Sweet Green Tea: This one... was not it. It tasted like coffee that borrowed someone else's filter. We'll just leave it at that. Now, let's talk service: They open at 7 AM, and somehow had my entire order made, warmed, packed, organized, and ready in just over an hour..while other customers were inside, AND they helped me load everything into my car. My short notice didn't even make them blink.

Oh, Country Bake Shoppe, you got me!…read more Being a bakery owner myself, I'm always excited to visit other bakeries. I genuinely enjoy seeing what other bakers create, tasting their specialties, and supporting the talent and hard work that goes into a small bakery. I stopped by Country Bake Shoppe and picked up Whoopie pies, cupcakes, and a pecan bar. Pumpkin nut bread was NOT on my original list. Then I tasted the Whoopie pie. Y'ALL. It was so good that I had to go back and get something else! That's when the pumpkin nut bread came home with me too. When something is good enough to make another bakery owner turn around and go back for more, that says something! There was something so comforting about this little country bakery. Nothing pretentious--just beautiful, homemade baked goods that taste like they were made by people who truly care about what comes out of their kitchen. I was disheartened to see Yelp reviews that do not concentrate on these important aspects of a restaurant. Here's my review that focuses on these important qualities of a restaurant. I took my daughter here for a special lunch a couple of weeks ago. I made a reservation because I had read that Saturdays are busy. The owner even asked when taking our reservation if we wanted a certain table... how about that service? Wow. We are easy going so I told her no. We arrived a bit early because our plans to hike prior to our lunch were changed thanks to bad weather. It was no problem whatsoever and we were seated immediately. We have only been for breakfast once before so we were excited to try some lunch items. I chose the Christmas cranberry sandwich and my daughter chose the French dip sandwich. She ordered a coffee, as well, which I tried... it was amazing. It was a chocolate type one or maybe mint... so good. Our lunches arrived on cute plates and looked so good (hope to add pictures later). My sandwich was amazing. Seriously, the flavors were outstanding and the meatloaf was homemade and tasty. My daughter liked her French dip but was a bit disappointed because the beef was fairly large pieces so harder to chew than if it had been slices on the sandwich to dip. She still enjoyed it but I think she would order my sandwich if we were to go again for lunch because she tried some of my sandwich and really liked it. We, of course, ordered one of their cupcakes to share. I believe we chose a strawberry one. They serve it warmed up and it was the perfect choice to end our lunch... not too sweet; kind of light. While we were enjoying our lunch a family stopped in with grandparents along. I have never been there with kids so it was so cute to see the kids being able to pick out a metal lunchbox from the various options and then later have their lunches served in the lunchbox. What a great idea for kids. It is obvious that the owner has really tried to make this restaurant unique and special for everyone. I had read some reviews about cleanliness of items inside the restaurant. There are lots of items there. Let me tell you I was looking very carefully at everything (including the bathroom) and was trying to figure out how they could keep everything so immaculately clean. I was very impressed. I could not find a speck of dust or dirt anywhere (and they have white coverings on some seating areas, rugs, etc.). Yes, I feel confident giving this restaurant and the staff 5 stars. I have never ordered anything that has not been amazing and the service at this restaurant is spectacular. The server (owner?) even apologized as we were checking out that she did not have enough time to chat with us during our time there. This is a small business that deserves our support and patronage. I am so glad we stopped in again to this wonderful restaurant. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
