They just had their grand reopening last week, with a refreshed brunch menu. Honestly speaking, the food arrived pretty lukewarm and the pancakes weren't cooked all the way and were a bit mushy. I think it's because it was so busy, and the wait was long. We personally waited for about 30 minutes which wasn't a huge deal to us, I was with my son. But I know others who waited close to 45 minutes to an hour. Again, May just be because of the grand reopening. The inside wasn't as bright and happy as it was last year when we went, the ambiance just seemed off, like no one was smiling except my son and I lol tbe vibes were just off. Overall, the food was okay. We did like our teas and the chicken that was on the waffle. And the tots were really good. Just a meh, experience.

We have seen these fluffy fluffy pancakes many times on social media and wanted to try them. We found this place and decided to give it a try. The presentation of the pancakes are beautiful. However I personally didn't care for the texture upon my first bite but the sweetness was perfect. The portion sizes are much larger than we anticipated. My husband enjoyed his eggs Benedict but it was just a lot of food and he could not finish it. I would still recommend giving it try. I may be too American for these types of pancakes.

Fluffy Fluffy was a decent place to try a dessert. I had heard about the location from a friend and was excited to try it. First of all, the inside is very cool and has a nice vibe to it. The service was decent. The staff was very nice in helping us decide what to order but we waited for about 20 minutes after being told our food would be ready in under 10 minutes. We were really excited and had the strawberry soufflé but we were disappointed by the taste and texture. The strawberry had little to no taste and the soufflé wasn't extremely fluffy. We are hoping that this was just a bad experience and there are a bunch of other menu items to try, but my experience wasn't as great as I had hoped.

Delicious and great service. It was my first time trying the fluffy pancakes will go again!

Trying out new location that is recently opened. The place is more spacious that the Duluth location. Food quality wise, it is about the same as the one in Duluth. We came at 5.35pm in a Saturday. They close at 6pm because it is soft opening hours. I was afraid that they won't let us in because it could take at least 30 minutes to cook our order. To my surprise, they still took our order. Good service. We are the last patron as they are closing. They didn't rush us. Would come back again because the ambience is better than Duluth.

This is located next to the Sprouts. We didn't have any issues finding a parking spot or a table. We came in on a Friday evening around 630 PM. I should preface this review, that I have never had Fluffy pankcakes or burnt cheesecake before, so I don't have anything to compare it to. The price for these desserts is on the pricier side. Their sliced burnt cheesecake is on display, and they only had select flavors left over for the day. It was $8 for a small slice, and I decided not to order one. My sisters ordered the Fluffy pankcakes: raspberry and tiramisu. Warning: The tiramisu took 20 mins to prepare, but the Raspberry one came out pretty fast. I ordered an oreo frappe, which I enjoyed. The pancakes...it's a different taste. It's hard to describe, but it didn't taste bad. The tiramisu pancake had more of an egg like flavor. Overall, it was a good dining experience. But a little too expensive for desserts in my opinion.

I went to the duluth location and it was terrible, I decided to go to the buford location and everything was much better. 10/10 recommend

This location was still in their soft opening phase, but I must have caught it at the right time, because the line wasn't out the door like the one in Duluth. There are lots of places to sit. The service was great! I ordered a French toast classic pancake, and it came garnished with banana, strawberries, and blueberries and served with syrup. Almost all the pancakes were more cooked, and less jiggly than I expected. They tasted delicious and weren't overly sweet. I also ordered a Nutella hazelnut latte, hot, and it was a tasty complement to the food. (The coffee came out before the food, so it was nice to have it to sip on while I waited.) You do have to listen for your name to be called, so at times, as the cafe got filled up and got louder, it was difficult for people seated at the front to hear their names be called. The restaurant was clean and bright. You do have to bus your own table, similar to any fast food restaurant. While it is called a dessert cafe, I think it would be a great place to go for brunch as well. Will definitely be going back again, soon!

Too expensive for such a small piece of cheesecake. Almost $8 for the tiniest little piece. It tasted good. Not great or special but not bad. Just not good enough for the price.

    Strawberry pancakes

Strawberry pancakes were fluffy & delicious. Still a soft opening. Service was very, very slow -45 minute wait for two orders of pancakes. Lots of employees, but maybe not enough chefs? Call ahead and enjoy the deliciousness!

The second time I came back we were greeted with a 30-min wait, which was expected due to the weekend and peak hour. But to our surprise we were actually seated within 15-minutes. While we waited, I used the restroom for the first time and it was clean and smelled fresh with cute decor. We were served with drinks right away and our server was very pleasant and accommodating. We looked at the menu beforehand, but last minute my husband and I decided to try recommended dishes. Here's our spread: Strawberry Short stack - 5/5 Sausage and egg biscuit with - 4/5 Cowboy omelette - 5/5 Chicken & Waffles - 5/5 Philly Fries Meal - 5/5 Bottomless Sweet Tea - 5/5 The pancakes were moist and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness. My daughter swore she'd eat the entire stack, but of course we knew otherwise. My mother in law enjoyed the sausage and egg biscuit, the sausage was a little more well done than she'd like but everything was seasoned well. The Philly fries were a surprise due to its massive size. My family demolished it. It was seasoned well with the right balance of meat, onions and cheese, my daughter wanted to it all by herself lol. The Cowboy omelette was also massive. The eggs cooked well stuffed with all the fixings - they definitely didn't skimp on it. Topped with fresh guacamole and salsa it was a delight. The chicken and waffles was recommended by our server and my husband was amazed by the whole dish. The balance of sweet and salty and the textures were perfect. The crunch of the chicken didn't take away from the moist meat. He created his "perfect bite" with a piece of chicken and waffles and it was heavenly. I'd definitely get it for myself next time. The waffle had a slight bite but also moist. I've experienced dry waffles before and this proved otherwise. Overall the experience was great. The service was excellent especially during a rush hour. Also we were very happy to see the Christmas decor. It really felt like a hometown feel and we enjoyed every minute. Definitely have Oy! on your list for brunch with the family! I'd visit once a week if I could.

We ordered a few different dishes including steak and eggs, French toast, pancakes with bacon, and a burger with fries. The steak was cooked nicely, but it was a little tough. The French toast was thick and tasty, but it tasted more like bread pudding to me--it wasn't as light and fluffy as traditional French toast. The pancakes were simple but good. Portions were generous and definitely filling. Overall, the food was good, but not quite as impressive as I had expected. I also wish their juice was fresh squeezed. Overall, it's a solid brunch spot, but with a few small improvements it could be even better.

I rolled in there hungry enough to eat the bumper off a truck and ordered the meatloaf ciabatta sandwich with hand-cut fries, and sweet mercy... somebody's grandma must be back there running the kitchen because that thing was borderline life-changing. The meatloaf was thick, juicy, and had that "somebody's been perfecting this recipe since 1978" flavor going on. The ciabatta held it together like a champ, and those hand-cut fries? Lord have mercy. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- the kind you keep saying "just one more" until suddenly the basket's empty and you're thinking about ordering another. Now here's the real kicker: they've got gluten-free options, which means I can bring my wife this weekend without her looking at the menu like it personally offended her. My server Katelynn is young and attentive providing great service with a smile. The food came quickly. My breakfast was not piping hot but was adequately warmed. What happened to the miniature warmed bottles? Maybe this store was just out. If they have made a switch to save money , bad idea. Those miniature warmed bottles are a signature Cracker Barrel experience and should be kept. Add the extra .35$ to a meal to cover it. I noticed during my visit a wait staff person eating in the kitchen area in view of the dining room. This should be a policy violation. I don't want to see someone standing and scarfing down breakfast while they were drinking a McDonald's iced drink. This is bad management. Employees should take their meal on break in the dining room or at least out of view of the public . A minor thing but much like the nail in the horse shoe. I respect the dedication. Unfortunately they were all standing between me and my lunch. The host quoted us a 30 minute wait and I mentally prepared for the long haul, but we were seated in about one minute. Either a miracle happened or someone finished their biscuits at record speed. While we waited, the general store worked its usual magic. My mother immediately started browsing like she had been training for this moment her entire life and somehow found several shirts she suddenly needed. Cracker Barrel knows exactly what they are doing with that store. The food at the table was good classic comfort food. No complaints there. Service was friendly and the place was clearly slammed from the Sunday crowd, so a little extra time for the kitchen was understandable. Where things really went off the rails was the to go order. We ordered a breakfast meal to go for my sister since she could not make it to brunch with us and needed something to take to work the next day. We placed the order at the same time as our meal. Forty five minutes after we finished eating, the to go order still had no estimate for when it would be ready. Not five minutes. Not ten minutes. Just a vague sense that it might appear at some point in the distant future. After waiting long enough to consider renting one of the rocking chairs out front, we finally asked them to remove it from the bill so we could leave. The staff was polite, but there were a lot of explanations and unfortunately none of them came with breakfast. The dine in experience itself was fine, but when you order something to go at the same time as your meal and still cannot get it nearly an hour later, that becomes a problem. Between the long delay and having to cancel the order entirely, it knocked this visit down quite a bit.
