During my time at the shop, the instructor provided easy-to-follow instructions and tips on how to make the perfect candle for each of the "students". She walked us through choosing a fragrance, pouring the wax and decoration. The shop also has a beverage and lounge area that's perfect for relaxing and taking Instagram pictures. I will definitely visit again and recommend the shop to others as well.

This is now my favorite Yankee Candle (YC) outlet store of the five that I have visited within a…read more100-mile radius of my house. Yesterday, 9/28/2025, was my first time here, and it was great. The store is spacious (about twice the square footage of the smallest YC outlet I have visited), clean, well-organized, and stocked with a lot of scents, many of which I had not seen in other YC outlets. The customer service is OUTSTANDING. The three ladies there were all incredibly welcoming, friendly, polite, and helpful in the right way -- a delicate balance between asking whether they can be of assistance and following up, on the one hand, and letting you browse and sniff to your heart's content (which includes making you feel comfortable taking your time). One store clerk was especially helpful, greeting me warmly when I entered, asking my scent preferences, answering my questions about the fragrance notes of specific scents, making suggestions based on my preferences, and even getting and holding out a shopping basket in which to put my selections. I bought nine candles! There are lots of good deals here. It's a great place to shop for any lover of YC candles, and I will be back soon!

Their candles are soy based and have a wooden wick so it's not toxic for you compared to other candle brands. There is a smell for everyone; they have floral smells, sweet smells, fresh scents, and they even had Halloween scents. I would recommend this store to all my candle lovers and you can find a great gift for others as well. The sales rep was friendly and informative! It's a great addition to old town Manassas. FYI: the candles with glitter... the glitter remains and does not evaporate so your candles will remain shimmery!

They sell candles, rugs, art, and various items of decor. The merchandise is of really high quality. On this past visit (I'd been in one before, too), I found a rug that just called to me. He showed us how neat the steel looks as it ages, helped the Husband pick out what metal he wanted on his skin and was great to work with. Everything in that shop is amazing. He doesn't make the Damascus steel himself, a friend does(I think it's the only thing he doesn't make in his shop), but he's extremely knowledgable about it and owns some great pieces of his own. We're so happy with how my husband's ring turned out! We'll be going back to Zaruba when looking for awesome pieces of jewelry in the future.

I think the value was ~ $2,200, so about 40 cents a day for this treasure! I've also purchased his gold and diamond plumbob earings, and made gifts of his pure silver heart on a gold chain. I also had a custom ring designed at his former gallery in 22k granulated gold with diamonds and garnets that I provided. Wish I still lived in Maryland so I could visit his new shop!
