I had high hopes with several positive Yelp reviews - I have no idea why this place is rated by others so highly. My food was mediocre at best. I had pasta with shrimp and zucchini. The pasta was cooked ok, but the shrimp was bland and a little over cooked. Did not seem very fresh either. My server was friendly and the place had a little charm, but nothing special overall. Interestingly, I came about 8-9 pm on a Saturday night and was one of three tables - an almost empty place. I asked the waitress and she said that their business depended on tourists, and there must not be many in town. That said something in itself.

Verry good! Not expensive and you're treated well.

Best pizza in Milano. Nice price. Excellent service. Near Ibis Milano Centro. You have to try this. Prosecco cold and full glas.

Crab Linguini

This is a great little restaurant away from tourist traps of Milan. It's quiet and red ambiance is fairly nice after a bustling day of shopping and walking. I would recommend coming here just because it's away from Duomo. On to the food. We ordered the Crab linguini as starter?!? The portion is very un-Italian, but very American. Tastes excellent with light tartness from the fresh tomato sauce blending into the fresh rock crab meat and crab miso. However, because the portion was quite large for me, I did not want to finish all of the pasta. My second dish was the veal in green pepper corn sauce. The veal was quite nice and the gravy with the green peppers made for a little contrast in texture; crunchy yet tender. My wife had the branzino fish. The fish covered in rock salt and baked to just right tenderness. It was delicately deboned and filleted to another serving plate. I'm not a fish person, but the taste is good enough for me to actually enjoy it. What I really enjoyed was the no rush to get you out the door. They made sure we were ready before serving the next dish. Really enjoyed dining here. Will visit again next time.

We were looking for a restaurant near where we were staying by Piazza della Repubblica and based on the reviews, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. We shared 2 pizzas, 2 insalada mistas and and a tiramisu and they were all delicious. They make their pizzas heart shaped! I got a small house red wine and it came in a pottery pitcher that gave me 2 glasses for 3.50 euros. Was very good and a bargain too. I wish we had another day in Milan so I could go back and try something else. A seafood pasta dish passed our table and it looked molto delizioso!

We chose this restaurant because it was near to our hotel and had no expectations. The service was super nice and they brought us the meal real quick. The food was fantastic! We had spaghetti with lobster from the special card and it was sooo good. It was a portion for 2 for 28€, so 14€ per person, for only for 14€ they served us delicious homemade spaghetti in a crab tomato sauce with a half lobster. I don't know where else I should get such good food for this price. We also had a red wine which was really good too. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially because it is not a typically tourist place.

30 seconds walk from my hotel. Food was great n the waitresses were nice n patient. Crowd starts from 8pm for dinners. Great for family or gatherings. Cosy atmosphere. Price is reasonable too.

My girlfriend left me for a safari owl!

My girlfriend and I came here for our last meal in Italy and this restaurant was a great pick! The lobster was delicious, plenty of meat for 2, and easy to get at without working hard or making a mess. The shrimp cocktail salad was unique and as wonderful as it sounds. Our main courses were grest, as was the wi e and service. To top it off, they serve ice cream in cute little complimentary animal bowls you take home!

Seated very quickly, nice clean restaurant and nice waiters although language barrier made ordering a bit clunky. My wife got the ravioli while my friend and I got the bolognese lasagna. My wife said the ravioli was good not great and our lasagna was very tasty but room temperature. I like my food hot. The other person at our table got salmon and it was way overcooked and very tough. Not sure why our other party got Salmon at an Italian restaurant in Italy but to each his own. If you want a glass of wine you only have two choices, white wine and red wine. No other available. This is probably because the restaurant doesn't carry large inventories of wine due to their small size and cost. Overall no way is this above an average restaurant. It's just okay. Heat up your lasagna better, teach your chef how to cook Salmon and expand your glasses of wine selections.

You could easily pay twice as much for something not as good as that at Bellavista Cafe. Great spot if you want to experience some quality local food and not break the bank. At lunch the place was filled with locals so the food must be good and the prices fair. Well worth the trip!

I would recommend making a reservation during prime hours and sitting outside if they have space there. The pizzas are the thin crust Roman style and very solid - the classic Margherita is the one to get as the execution is fantastic. You get the flavor of a NYC slice made with better ingredients and with a great thin crust. This reminds me of Marta in NYC which closed during COVID. The classic entrees are made in the comfort food style - solid flavors, generous portions, and good ingredients. Be sure to try the costelleta or ossobucco. The cutlet is perfectly tender with a crispy crust served with fantastic roasted potatoes. The ossobucco itself is just okay but the risotto is very satisfying especially with the bone marrow. If you are by the Duomo or Galleria and want comfort food this is a great option.

Prices were fair, and the staff was very attentive. We were able to get some good Italian music and food here. The four cheese pizza is the da bomb. They even give you some free stuff for dessert and a little mini appetizer. However, there is a four Euro tax per PERSON, that might knock the wind out of you. Still, enjoyed the place.
