We had a great early dinner here. Lots of cool decor and very cozy. Our waiter spoke Italian and English. Don't remember if there was a coperto. The menu was very colorful and unique. It's in Italian and English. The food was delicious. Lots of fresh pasta choices that are unique to the region. The sauces were delicious. Few good dessert choices. The hot chocolate suffle with gelato was an excellent choice.

Right down the street from Bellagio water limousines and hotels, so anticipate tourist prices but certainly divine quality. Charming hand painted wine bottles of scenes around Como decorate the walls. We had a pleasant enough experience with our server, but another server seemed to be annoyed we were tourists. Tourists a stone's throw from the main drag of hotels and shops and the ferry? Go figure. Anyway, I would certainly return and no matter how full you think you are- try the tiramisu!!!!

One of the best meals in lake como. Fresh delicious fresh pasta, friendly service and decent prices for bellagio. The tiramisu made in house was also amazing and creative. Highly recommend.

The homemade lasagna with meat sauce was amazing, especially the meat sauce. The other pasta dishes, I felt like the homemade pasta was cooked a little too al dente for my taste. The hand drawn menu, the hand-painted wine bottles, the service, and the ambiance were all so charming!! (The cashier's dad hand painted all the wine bottle decor in the restaurant!)

My family and I considered our dinner at La Lantera the best meal we had in Bellagio. A small menu done exceptionally well! Will definitely return!

Great spot in Bellagio as you go up the stairs. A bit of a wait but it was worth it. Great food in the pastas and the lasagna and the icing on the cake with the tiramisu in a teapot. Pretty neat idea. Service was awesome and atmosphere was great! Would definitely come back!

By far our favorite meal in Lake Como/Bellagio! The pasta is all homemade and is absolutely delicious! We got the ravioli and lasagna! Friendly service and fast. The seating outside is limited but plenty inside. Absolutely recommend!

A very disappointing meal. While the location is cute the menu is very small. Pasta only! Okay no problem. I just knew of they only did one thing it would superb. WRONG ! It was terrible. Both do he's were flavorless and cold. There was literally no flavor. The vegetarian lasagna was especially bad. Cold and a giant pile of mush. The bean soup was at least hot but I have had much much better. Table bread was stale and hard. There was nothing good other than the sparkling water. There are literally dozens of other places so try one of them.

Some of the best pasta I had in Italy! Not to mention speedy service and fun atmosphere.

This place should be very very high on anyone's list in Bellagio Lake Como! The experience starts as you walk down or up the cobblestone alleyway where you'll see La Lanterna with the very cool outdoor seating where you can people watch (highly recommend) The artwork inside is super cool with the hand painted wine bottles that are available for purchase as well. The menu is very down to earth and pretty easy to navigate. The artwork is excellent and painted by the same artist who does the bottles told to us by the staff. Some of the best local, homemade pasta I had the entire trip! Enjoyed that with the limoncello spritz and called it a day! Amazing experience. (They do take credit cards, and there's a bathroom inside)

Visited July 20, 2023. Wow is all I have to say. Lunch here kicked off our experiences in Lake Como and I have nothing but positives to say. They only took cash when we went so this is something to potentially keep in mind, but a trip to the atm is worth it (plus the prices are super reasonable with gigantic portions). Service was great and everything moved smoothly. I got the pasta with chili oil and despite it being tons of food I had to eat every bite. Fresh pasta makes such a difference. If you find yourself in Bellagio definitely stop in for an amazing dining experience and for the sounds of Bob Marley grooving through the restaurant!

Probably, the best meat lasagna & tiramisu I had on my trip to Italy. Hands down ! This restaurant is very pinturesque. A cozy, little nook in the busy but beautiful Bellagio. The hand written and drawing illustrations menu is adorable. The big sign outside "Only Fresh Pasta" tells the truth. Make your taste buds happy and give them a visit.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem while climbing stairs in Bellagio. The painted bottles outside the restaurant captured my wife's attention and we we hungry so we walked in. We sat down and looked at the menu while I ordered a cappuccino to start. My wife ordered the Minestrone Soup and I ordered the cheese-filled ravioli with butter and basil. I asked for some ham to be added on top and my waiter obliged. While we were waiting for the food we were checking out the hand-painted bottles that were on display throughout the dining room. I sat right in front of one titled "George Clooney's House." Nice art on the unique bottles all centered around the theme of Lake Como. The food came out and everything was excellent. I'm not sure that I will ever will be in Bellagio again, but would definitely eat here if I'm in the neighborhood. Five stars!

    Excellent food!!

Fresh pasta for relatively low prices, the best pesto I've ever had in my life, and bottle-lined walls decorating a cozy interior.

What a beautiful setting and the day was warm and sunny. We each ordered a glass of wine, and then scoured the menu, finally settling on a pasta dish for one, pizza for the other one, and Mr. Bee and I split a pizza. When in Italy one must have as much pizza as you can. Each is different, but never a bad one. I have to say, the pizza was the best we had on the trip. The crust was light and crunchy, but tender. The sauce was simple but incredible. The mushrooms and prosciutto were the icing on the pie. The service was friendly and fast. We absolutely loved our lunch at this little eatery.

In…read morecinematic black and white detail, I distinctly recall spending an afternoon strolling the cobbled passageways of Bellagio with my beau, George Clooney. We sampled local cuisine and shopped our hearts out before returning to our villa on the shore of Lake Como. However... upon reflection, a more accurate memory features a very sweaty Nico hobbling on blistered feet, sans Clooney, in desperate need of shade and refreshment. Now that I recall, Forma e Gusto came into my life at a perfect moment in time. Tucked in between several buildings, under a lush canopy of leaves, Forma e Gusto offers respite on a hot summer day. The restaurant offers intimate indoor seating, as well as several tables lining the covered alley. Be sure to check out the charming outdoor bar as well. Their menu offers most of the usual dishes found on Lake Como, with a few surprises thrown in. I ordered the Ravioli di Pesce di Lago, buttery raviolis filled with trout and goat cheese. I made the right choice! I've since tried to replicate this deliciousness at home and have failed spectacularly! The restaurant's raviolis were the result of locally sourced ingredients skillfully prepared by someone with years of experience. I have vivid sense memory of those remarkable raviolis; I hope to one day taste them again. I was only in Bellagio for a single afternoon, and didn't have the opportunity to dine elsewhere. It's possible there are restaurants more deserving of your attention, however Forma e Gusto came to my rescue with their delicious food and outstanding customer service. (Roberto deserves an award for his ability to effortlessly multitask, and to describe the menu items poetically. He's no George Clooney, but he's a gem for sure!)

OH wasn't this a fun lunch during our time on Lake Como!…read more So undecided while actually in Como, we ended up just picking the nearest side-walk open restaurant... we picked well! Hosterietta was a lovely decision! We decided to sit outside on a day where Satan had obvious controls of the thermostat. They were kind enough not to judge me for wiping the sweat from my brow so I didn't drip in my food. They brought me a fresh towel... and then likely judged me harshly behind closed doors... sorry folks, bad American manners but it was HOT! FORTUNATELY, they have lovely massive umbrellas outside to sit under, and they helped immensely! They have a wonderful menu, both in Italian and English. They have very accommodating staff that are quick to tell / share of their favorite menu items (I love it when they do this!). I actually chose my meal based on their recommendation. Forgive me for not remembering what I ordered. I did start with a salad... heads-up folks, if you start with a "starter salad"... it is enough for an entire meal! They recommended wine. The four of us planned to split one bottle... as you all can imagine... that didn't happen... after a few glasses each, we all left with smiles on our faces!
