5 Stars...A Hidden Gem! I was in the area craving a burrito and happened to spot the La Kura truck by coincidence best decision I made that day. I ordered a surf & turf burrito along with asada and chicken tacos, and everything was made to absolute perfection. After living in Concord for two years, I've been disappointed over and over again with Mexican food, but La Kura completely changed that. The meats were full of flavor, the burrito was packed generously with asada and shrimp, and the Kura sauce added the perfect finishing touch. The customer service was excellent as well. They didn't skimp on the chips and salsa...they even gave me two of each sauce. I actually got out of my truck just to thank the chef, who turned out to be the owner working alongside his father. I love supporting family businesses, and when you combine that with great food and great service, it becomes a must-try spot. Highly recommend La Kura to anyone in the area. Had the truck at Side Gate brewing in Concord. Got an asada burrito as a recommendation from the cashier. Big burrito but for the price of $18 - disappointing. Was barely any meat and a ton of rice and beans. Not very flavorful either. Also got some curly fries which of course after a few beers - tasted amazing. Ordered the Fried Chicken Torta and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Crunchy, but juicy chicken. An explosion of flavor with the aioli and sweet chile sauces. It a $19 sandwich but this thing is massive. read more

Staff are super friendly! The tacos are delicious. I would probably ask them next time if they could toast/grill the bread for my fried chicken torta. The sauces it came with were really good, one is a sweeter sauce & the other is a fried chicken dip type of sauce. The Brews and Boos Yelp event had a special beer pairing with delightful bites from La Kura food truck totally wowed with vibrant flavors and unique creativity. The shrimp ceviche tostada was super fresh and zesty, while the al pastor taco delivered smoky, spicy goodness. Food was 5star! Best food truck we ever had and just happened to be at four legs brewery in Brentwood. Four legs is surprisingly really good IPA. Both the double and single IPA. La Kura was exceptional good and our kids and my very finicky wife loved it. Everything was a step up. We are looking forward to being at four legs on the 18th of September for our anniversary and bringing our fur family. Good fun and great food! read more

Listen, you are sick and you don't know it yet. What you need to cure yourself is LA KURA. Damn, the food is good. Not only is the food amazing, it's visually appealing. The eyes (and Instagram) eat first, and La Kura's plates SERVE. I have ordered the Kura fries thrice and each time they are tastier than the previous time! Each of the proteins is perfect to go on fries. You get sauce, Chiles curtidos, radishes, more sauce on the side, and salsa!! Also chorizo beans??? I'd still be eating mine but I'm SO FULL. They've got a nice big menu with options for everyone, including the kids. I'm always down for any brewery with La Kura parked out front! My Monday ritual!! I've been so addicted to the quesabirra. Its always so tender and full of flavor. I love mine with extra lime . The portions are large, and fortunety it reheats really well. This place does not miss! I've tried everything on the menu at this point and I honestly can say they have each item down to a science. It is very clear the father son duo running the show are very dedicated. Every Monday at Epidemic Ales in concord then Wednesdays at Sidegate brewery in concord both days from 4-8. Tried there highly popular fried Chicken torta. Top notch sandwich. Problem I have is that on top of their premium food truck price, they also charge sales tax which usually ok att of the list price. I liked the torta but I could have burger, fries and a coke at a brick at mortar restaurant. Extreme sticker shock. read more

I hosted an event at Side Gate Brewery and used LaKura for our catering. Robert was awesome to work with as we planned the best way to handle the catering for our group. We went with an option that allowed our guests to order from Robert's menu and everyone was able to select an item of their choice and delight. I live in Georgia and was worried about the food for our event. Robert made it easy and delicious. This is my third visit to the La Kura truck, and I am hooked! I try the tacos from every truck, everywhere we go.. the pastor tacos here blow my mind. They are simple yet complex, the flavors play off each other unexpectedly, and the depth of smokiness, sweet, spicy, are just freaking amazing. We have tried a wide variety of things from them now and everything is on point. Even the guacamole had a good lime tang to it you could tell it was fresh, and a great texture. The service is top notch. The friendliest guy runs it out to you with more efficiency than most sit down restaurants. But as good as everything is, damn those pastor tacos... I'm devoted! This food truck was at a brewery my family and I went to this past Saturday. We actually met up with about 20 other people for my daughter's 26th birthday. Many people who came for our event ordered and enjoyed the food. For me, I ordered the Kura fries but swapped the chorizo for carne asada....oh my, they were sooooo good. I'm craving them again today! That's just how good they were. The fries are fresh cut, the asada had great flavor, and the cheese sauce was the perfect touch. I enjoyed the cheese saucs, it's made from scratch not any canned cheese thank goodness! The cheese sauce is creamy and contained sharp cheddar cheese, its was just soooo good, perfect complimentto the carne asada fries. We also ordered the Biarra tacos, my hubby loved them as well. The food truck staff was very friendly, kind, and accommodating. They were fine with the protien swap on the fries and my hubby's no cilantro on his tacos and in his consume. We are looking forward to going back again soon to enjoy our same food choices...although I did hear from our friends that the Chicken Tora was fire too...maybe we'll give that a try next time. read more

The food here is my favorite truck for Mexican food. Their tacos are the best I have had in my life. The fried chicken torta is absolutely delicious. The sopes are also very good and they make my second favorite Tamales aside from my mother's. They get food out quickly and Robert and the staff are friendly and helpful.
