From the moment…read morewe first inquired about their services, they were incredibly responsive, professional, and clear in answering all of our questions. We booked YPD for both our San Diego airport departure and arrival transportation for a party of seven, and we were so pleased with the experience on both occasions. We were warmly greeted each time, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The Teslas were clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable for our group. We had no issues fitting all of our luggage, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful details--each vehicle was stocked with water and snacks, which was such a nice extra touch and made our family feel well taken care of. We also received confirmation texts for both our departure and arrival, and our drivers arrived early each time, which gave us great peace of mind. The booking and payment process was equally smooth, straightforward, and transparent. Overall, YPD made our airport transportation completely hassle-free and enjoyable. We will absolutely be using their services again and would happily recommend them to our family and friends. Thank you, YPD, for making our travel experience that much easier!

The car is super clean and we were offered snacks both times! First time I used him he picked my kiddo and I up to fly oneway, out of Hawthorne (near LAX). Our pickup time was super early, and James greeted us, not just on time, but early (with no rush to us)! He helped us with our bags and got us to the airport safely and on time. The second time we contacted him, it was again for an flight out of LAX. We booked a roundtrip with him, 9-days apart. We flew in and out of LAX...our trip back into LAX was super late and James was right there waiting for us! It really couldn't have been easier! We notified him when we landed and then told him what pillar number we were at and within 3 minutes he was there with a smile again! The convince to have him there to drive us back to North County was great. We were so tired, and to think if we had to get our car from a lot, drive back to SD or stay in a hotel...no way! It was nice knowing we had James waiting for us, to get us home safely! The pricing is totally fair. You pay for great service and for the convince that YPD/James offers. I would recommend this company a 100 times over and will use again in the future!

BEWARE OF FRAUD We…read morehave used this company for a long time. On the very last day of 2023 they charged me 7k out of the blue. I emailed the address listed on the website and in previous receipts and it bounced. I also tried to call for several days and the phone was disconnected. Finally on the second week of trying someone answered, who was clearly on a cell phone. Told me they can't help with refunds over the phone and they don't have any phone number to help. My only option was to email an address not listed anywhere on their website or in my previous receipt. No chance I'm sending personal information that way. Pretty unfortunate as we have used this service for years. Something happened at the end of 2023 and now it's super shady. I recommend using a different service. Also this company just dispatches to other car services. May as well go directly to those companies.

Initially, I used for a large group executive Mercedes transfer vehicle for several hours. Everything was very well thought out, punctual, and kind service. They are even willing to extend and give quotes for extensions if needed even though it was unexpected. I appreciate that. Vehicle was top notch, clean, and had waters. Driver always easily available when needed and ready to go and very good with communication. Then started to use for airport drop off. Very lux service. Picked up with a Escalade always very clean and shiny in and out, driver always dressed up in a suit and tie (nice touch), and they help you with all your luggage on and off. So, thank you 5 Star Transportation Services for all you do! And yes, I highly recommend them. You can't go wrong. I will continue working with them. I have them as my contact on my phone now!
