We truly cannot say enough about our experience with Your Personal Drivers (YPD)! From the moment we first inquired about their services, they were incredibly responsive, professional, and clear in answering all of our questions. We booked YPD for both our San Diego airport departure and arrival transportation for a party of seven, and we were so pleased with the experience on both occasions. We were warmly greeted each time, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The Teslas were clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable for our group. We had no issues fitting all of our luggage, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful details--each vehicle was stocked with water and snacks, which was such a nice extra touch and made our family feel well taken care of. We also received confirmation texts for both our departure and arrival, and our drivers arrived early each time, which gave us great peace of mind. The booking and payment process was equally smooth, straightforward, and transparent. Overall, YPD made our airport transportation completely hassle-free and enjoyable. We will absolutely be using their services again and would happily recommend them to our family and friends. Thank you, YPD, for making our travel experience that much easier! read more

If I could give YPD a 10 star review, I would! I've used James a couple of times now, and he's been great every time! He's easy to communicate with, super reliable and very friendly! The car is super clean and we were offered snacks both times! First time I used him he picked my kiddo and I up to fly oneway, out of Hawthorne (near LAX). Our pickup time was super early, and James greeted us, not just on time, but early (with no rush to us)! He helped us with our bags and got us to the airport safely and on time. The second time we contacted him, it was again for an flight out of LAX. We booked a roundtrip with him, 9-days apart. We flew in and out of LAX...our trip back into LAX was super late and James was right there waiting for us! It really couldn't have been easier! We notified him when we landed and then told him what pillar number we were at and within 3 minutes he was there with a smile again! The convince to have him there to drive us back to North County was great. We were so tired, and to think if we had to get our car from a lot, drive back to SD or stay in a hotel...no way! It was nice knowing we had James waiting for us, to get us home safely! The pricing is totally fair. You pay for great service and for the convince that YPD/James offers. I would recommend this company a 100 times over and will use again in the future! read more

I've been using James for a while, and recently I've also had his son Evan and his wife Elizabeth driving us on the last few trips. They are always on time, very professional, and go the extra mile. The cars are impeccable, and they are well dressed and very courteous. Evan also impressed us with snacks and water, which was a thoughtful touch. They are very kind people and easy to deal with. I recommended them to few of of friends in Rancho Santa Fe and everyone loved the service. The pricing is also very fair. I highly recommend them. read more

Your Personal Drivers - Airport Shuttles Near Me

We've used YPD for several airport rides and date nights around downtown SD. James, Liz, Evan are all great! The car smells fresh but not overbearing. The music volume is just right. Tempertures are perfect. Highly recommend them for all transport needs, they are the best! read more

Well...not as 5 star as reflected here. I was impressed at reviews so I gave them a try, and with my first trip, they were fine - prompt and appeared to be reliable. On that first trip, James told me about their company - how they had 350 clients and were careful about not taking on too many people so they could accommodate anyone. Told me it was a family business with him, his wife, and son, and they had other hired drivers and other people they could call so they were reliable. Great. So I reserved a second time. Fine pick-up from home. But when I was to fly home from Chicago a few days later, and many of you know how Chicago is, there were multiple flight delays over 5 hours - it was a traveler's nightmare, and during that time, I texted with Personal Drivers and they said they would keep track of my flights, no worries. Then suddenly I get the message from them "your flight is now scheduled to land at 8:52 pm and we no longer are available at that time". What? Let me say that I have traveled, sometimes 3-4 times a month, on business, using car services, for years, and I have NEVER gotten a cancellation message like that. After a hellish 5 hours at Chicago O'Hare in which the flight was pushed back multiple times, exhaustion from 3 days of meeting events, I get a message like that. So the bottom line is that Personal Drivers are reliable --- until they are not! I strongly recommend against using them (I will not be trusting them with my airport travel again). Oh, and while I was traveling this trip, I used Uber Black (instead of Uber Comfort or regular Uber, which I was trying to get away from), and not only are they the same cost as Personal Drivers, they were reliable, the cars were meticulously clean, drivers were professional, and so Uber Black was absolutely fine - Black also picks you up at Curbside at the airport - he texted me that he would be waiting at section T in front of the terminal and there he was when I got there! And if you reserve a trip with them, which I did as soon as Personal Drivers canceled with me, they will watch your flights so they are on time. So I will use them going forward. One last thing, James (one of the owners of Personal Drivers) actually gave the excuse that he could not pick me up because he was flying to New York for a funeral and said "Thank you for understanding". While I am empathetic that he lost a friend - that is very sad - that is not an excuse to leave a customer hanging. I thought it was pathetic that he tried to pull on my heart strings as an excuse to desert me. He should have had back up for all contingencies. So buyer beware - just know that you may be left hanging with this company. P.S. One last thing. After he canceled with me, he texted me that he had someone available to pick me up at the airport in San Diego at 11 pm!!!!! Like I am going to wait over 2 hours for a pick up! ***9/21: In response to James's comment: First, I was and am not "very mad", in fact I was not mad at all, just very surprised and disappointed in your lack of reliability. And I want to warn others of this if they are considering using your company. And your comment that a 5 hour delay is uncommon tells me that you do not have much experience with travelers, especially those that travel through Chicago. This type of delay has happened to me several times over the years and I have never had a car service cancel on me because of it. I will not be using your company again, as even a free offer is meaningless if the service is not reliable. ***9/22: That is really classy (not!). James completely edited his first comment of my review, in which he said I was "very mad", discussed having to go to a funeral (what does that have to do with having adequate staff to fulfill your commitments?), telling me that a 5 hour delay at an airport (especially Chicago O'Hare) was unusual, and offering me 2 free rides in future to try the company again. His comments resulted in my additional post ***9/21. And he kept the date of his most recent edit 9/20 which is an outright lie. This guy just won't stop. So he must have realized that his excuses that he posted right after my 9-20 review really did not sound very good, so he completely changed his post! I am adding this so that you all have context for my ***9/21 comments and can judge for yourself about this guy and this company. This latest change in his post reinforces to me that I have made a good decision not to use that company again. Just stop, James. There is no excuse on the planet that supports you deserting a client who had a reservation with you at the airport! As I said in my original post, I hired them as I was trying to get away from Uber (regular and comfort) - but thank goodness for Uber Black - I was able to make a reservation with them from my plane, on the way home, and they were there for me, unlike Personal Drivers! read more

I neglected to review when I first used this company but I'll rectify that now. After a disappointing experience with another company , I hired Your Personal Drivers. It was so refreshing to have excellent customer service and punctuality , along with reasonable rates. My driver arrived on time, the car was clean, comfortable and he got us to the airport with plenty of time to spare. This company will be our drivers from now on. read more

James and Liz are awesome! They are super responsive and flexible. Very clear in their communication and pricing. I booked them to pick us up from LAX and drove us home to San Diego and the experience was seamless. No issues and no wait time on the pick up. James was super friendly. In a panic I also texted them at the last minute for another flight to get us to LAX after finding out a delay may have cause us to miss a connection. They responded right away and jumped on trying to help us. We didn't need a ride in the end on that leg but I appreciated they responded so quickly and were ready to help. Customer service is their priority which I totally appreciate after using ride share services and having multiple mishaps and issues. I will definitely be using them for local airport runs in addition to long distance and maybe more! read more

My experience with Your Personal Drivers was excellent from start to finish! I never write reviews but had to give them a shout out because I was so impressed. They were very easy to communicate with and reliable. Our drivers were also so friendly and the cars were immaculate. I also found them to be very affordable and would much prefer to use them over a ride share company. Thank you, James and Liz! read more

I highly recommend James and his company! I first found him on Yelp last year and was immediately impressed by how responsive, professional, and reasonably priced he was compared to others. Although I ended up having to cancel that trip, James was very understanding, which left me with a positive impression. Last month, I reached out to him again for a long-haul ride on very short notice for my daughter and her newborn baby. He accepted my request without hesitation and provided excellent service, which proved just how dependable he is. Most recently, I hired him to pick me up from LAX after a long international flight. He drove up as soon as I stepped out of the terminal--no stress, no confusion, just seamless service. James is not only punctual and professional, but also genuinely kind, which makes the entire experience so much more pleasant. read more

Absolutely fantastic driving service! James was professional, efficient, incredibly friendly & considerate, and 100% clear in what to expect (including timing, pick up, drop off, etc). He was fabulous enough to take us to from San Diego to LAX first thing in the morning and we ended up arranging to have him pick us up for our return. Very grateful to him and his company for being so wonderful and reliable! Recommend them 10/10 to everyone!! read more

We had a great experience with Your Personal Drivers. Ray, the driver assigned to us, was early/on time to take us to/from the airport. There were 4 of us and he used a Tesla as our ride. It had enough space for our luggage (which was a concern) and we were comfortable. The interaction with the team was awesome! We kept in touch daily so we knew what the process was every step of the way, and the rates were fair and reasonable. This was the first time we decided to use a service like this and we're glad we did. We'll be using Your Personal Drivers for all our transportation needs in the future. Thank you team! read more

Wow what can I say but I found an outstanding airport transportation company! I researched YELP and went off the reviews. I was a bit leary of other services and decided to give them a try. James was prompt and on time plus he is an awesome driver and a pleasure to talk to. They have beautiful new clean Teslas. The communication is A++. Response time is minutes. I will be using them every time I come to San Diego which will be frequent. Their prices are comparable to Uber but far superior in every aspect. read more

Very professional, on time, friendly drivers. This will be our transport company for all future needs. Thank you James!

Elizabeth and James are reliable and professional. I highly recommend choosing them over wondering if your uber will show or having to wait for your Uber in the queue after a long flight. read more

Owner/Driver James was the least expensive ( by about 50%) yet most professional transportation service I have ever experienced. I cannot say enough good things about this service! James and Liz are professional, attentive, flexible and above all reliable. It's like Uber or Lyft but with a personal touch and at the same or even lower rate. They have been a godsend for my sister who needs help getting to medical appointments regularly and on time. If you're looking for a ride with someone who's willing to go the extra mile to make your experience perfect this is it. And the vehicles are very nice too! read more

We hired James Pham, owner of Your Personal Drivers to pick us up at our home in San Diego and take us to LAX and then pick us up at the end of our trip to LAX and drive us back home. Everything about Your Personal Drivers , from the first contact throughout our entire trip was perfect, friendly, reliable and efficient. James and his wife Elizabeth are responsive and completely reliable. Their prices are very competitive, considerably less than other limo companies I compared before hiring them. Working with Your Personal Drivers was like having a trusted friend agree to take you and pick you up from the airport. I will always use them in the future. read more

I am very happy with Your Personal Tesla service. James always shows up when requested and is in good spirits for wherever I need to go.

James is absolutely our go-to for airport rides! We have been so impressed with him that we refer him to friends and family. He is professional, friendly, and always on time (even better, he shows up early and waits). His Tesla is impeccably clean and he offers 5-star service from pick-up to drop-off. After a long trip, there is nothing like walking out to the curb, and having your own personal driver waiting there. The rides are always smooth, he is a terrific conversationalist, and we love his family-run business. read more
