He confirmed the day before, arrived on time, took care of us getting to the airline, and assured us he would be there for pickup. For the first time I decided to use an airport car service locally. Did some research and decided to try Budget Transportation. Called them to get a quote and had to leave a message. I received a response within minutes, asking the zip code of my drop-off location because as with most cities there is usually more than one and that determines the rate. I received the quote and found it to be very competitive to other companies I contacted. Made the reservation and confirmed it the day before my return because I didn't want to be stuck at the airport. Now that would suck!! The company confirmed everything was still on and let me know they were only taking cash at this time, which was fine, and it allowed me time to get to an ATM before returning. Was pleased to find a text from Rudy when I got off the plane and turned my phone back on. Letting me know he was in the area and provided a picture of the Chrysler 300 he was driving. He asked that I text him when I left baggage claim and after I did, he was there within minutes (I'm assuming he was waiting in the cell phone lot). Upon his arrival I met and received a friendly greeting from Rudy. I found the car to be very clean and comfortable. Rudy was a very good driver and I felt comfortable with his driving the whole way. You never know what someone you don't know might do behind the wheel. If in the future I need a car service I will definitely call Budget Transportation and would recommend them to family and friends. read more

We had an incredible experience with Rudy. The SD airport is undergoing construction and didn't have any parking available and it was the day before our flight so we were in a bind. We have two kids that required car seats so our transportation options were pretty limited. I was desperate and texted Rudy to see if he was available and he was prompt in his response. Rudy's pricing was the best I've seen and he was very professional. We installed our car seats in his car, he stored it for us while we were gone, and came to pick us up with them. We had an early morning flight during Labor Day weekend. I saw some tips to schedule a ride with Uber or Lyft in advance, but I was worried my driver would be late or worst...cancel l...on the morning of and leave us stranded. I found Rudy from Budget Transporation. I called him and he gave me a quote of $39 from PB to the airport, before tip. I went ahead and scheduled it with him. The night before my ride, Rudy texted me to confirm our ride for the next morning at 5:30 am. On the day of our departure, Rudy showed up right on time, and we were swiftly on our way. While the ride was more expensive than a Lyft or Uber, I was willing to pay more to ease my mind. Plus I heard a typical $20 ride through Lyft or Uber from PB ended up surging a lot in the morning so you end up paying double. Thank you Rudy! read more

I literally have 0 complaints about Reda (aka Rudy) & his transportation service. First & foremost, he was prompt in getting back to me when I asked to book rides to & from the airport (live in Vista). He was always professional & friendly in all his communication with me. As someone who cares about things like safety, not only did he always wear a mask, but I didn't once feel nervous in his vehicle (which is often the case with any ride service). His car was clean, smelled nice, and background music was low & not obnoxious. He read the room well & chatted when I chatted, silent when I was silent. To top it off, he was early in picking me up, which as someone who has anxiety traveling, was an added bonus for me! This was my first time using this service and happy to report it was a wonderful experience! Rudy helped me and my elderly father get to the airport safely and surely. Dude, let me tell you how amazing and chill Rudy was. First off, I called him when he was at a wedding and asked me to text him. Sure, fine, that helps me as well because I like to have proof I sent people things. 2nd off, my flight out of San Diego was canceled the same day I was to fly out...I texted Rudy and he worked with me as I booked another flight. And to top it all off, my flight back to San Diego was also canceled! (I had that luck.) I kept Rudy in the loop and he was willing to pick me up the next morning. I really liked that he gave me rates for the round trip airport pickup and drop off to my hotel within 15 min. A friend had a late night arrival (11pm) in San Diego (from Houston), and I called around to try and find transportation. The guy who answered here sounded very polite, knowledgeable, and more importantly he sounded like someone who wanted my (or anyone's) business and was ready to do his job. I made the arrangements. He picked up my friend, luggage, and took them several miles north to their hotel. He was on time, drove well, friendly - everything you would expect. Not sure if it's okay to give his name here - so I will just say it started with an "R". If you are anywhere near San Diego or North County and need to arrange a scheduled reliable transportation (ie. you can't take the chance that there might not be a cab available) - then these are your guys. So we go to Idaho a lot (like once a month). About every third time we fly. I hate trying to bum rides off people, and the airport parking is so expensive. So I looked into off-site parking. It was cheaper, but a lot of complaints. So we called this company. It was great. For the same price as off-site parking a nice man named Rudy showed up at our door in a classy Chrysler 300. What I liked about him was, when we wanted to chat, he talked. But when we were quiet, he shut up. And we didn't have to worry about our car in a strange lot. He picked us up when we got back, right on time. I meant to write this review sooner, but spaced it. But I'm going to be using him again in a few weeks, so wanted to get this out there. Budget Transportation is absolutely our new go-to source for airport transportation. Santee to the airport, our driver was here 15 minutes early and let us know he was out front, no rush. I'll take early over late any day and since we were ready we had a relaxing drive in a practically new very roomy sedan. When we found out we'd need a pick up at the end of our trip, we called two days in advance and easily made an airport pick-up appointment. As we were taxiing in we received a text message letting us know our driver was ready and we should text or call him when we were at the curb.
