Brian is AMAZING. Caps are on purpose. I never write reviews, but Brian and LA Intelligence deserve a lengthy and spectacular review to commend their work. They produce results and fast. I appreciate you guys so much. I don't even know where to begin, I'm still in shock and disbelief that this is happening. I sent a good chunk of money to an individual to start a business (multiple 5 figures). I find out a week after that it was not legitimate. A handful of other people had sent this individual money and the "business" was nowhere in sight. Only delays and excuses, even over a year into starting. If only you could see my face when I heard the news. "There is no business. You're just another one of his victims." Victim. All the blood had left my face, along with my ability to hear. This couldn't be happening, right? This must be a joke. The rest of the conversation was a blur. But I'd heard enough, I needed my money back. Only problem was I had no idea where to even begin. My family needed background checks and serving of a legal notice on a holiday weekend. We tried another P.I. but he was much less responsive and couldn't give us the service we needed as quickly as we needed it. We found Brian and his LA Intelligence operation via the web. I called the number and he actually answered the phone (again, this was around dinner time on a holiday weekend)! When I heard his voice, as a fellow New Yorker, I knew he would cut the B.S. and get right down to business. Indeed, he was exactly what we needed, when we needed it, and was always available. He would respond to our text messages, which was great, because the other P.I. we were considering would NOT respond reliably to texts. When you need a tough guy, Brian is your guy. Amazingly, he also was extremely professional, kind, and intelligent. A home run. Worth every penny. I think his rate was in line with other estimates, and he didn't nickel and dime us. He put us in touch with two other members of his team who were able to shoe-horn us into their busy schedules. I needed to find my son. I knew he was somewhere in California. He was 25 years old when he moved there back in November 2016. In the last seven years since, he would call us whenever he needed a few items, or some personal belongings left behind. Brian is quite something. Not only is he fun to work with, but he is heads and tails beyond any PI I have ever worked with. Prior to finding Brian, I had carefully interviewed five different PIs who came with high accolades. I settled on one. I wasted thousands of dollars only to get incomplete information which lead me nowhere. In a matter of 10 minutes Brian literally performed a miracle that changed my life. He located a client that took me for several hundred thousand dollars and then disappeared. This client paid me with a fraudulent Visa (I came to find out) and left me holding the bag. Finally, I could sue this bastard and take back my power. Because of the forgery, my credit standing and relationship with many key vendors that I counted on for custom furnishings went south as did my sterling reputation. I lost my relationship with Chase bank who I did all my banking with since the days of Washingtion Mutual. This was a 30 year relationship. Because of this, I couldn't get a bank account at any large institution bank. One credit union actually gave me a bank account as well as a smaller bank. This made banking very inconvenient as the ATMs and bank branches were few and far between. Banking used to be easy and convenient. Not any more. I used to be able to deposit large checks from clients at Chase and have the funds available immediately, because of my long standing excellent reputation with my home branch. That went the way of the dinosaurs, as did my credit score. I always prided myself on my pristine credit score. dropped to 400 as I couldn't keep up with my now insurmountable credit card payments. In this town, great credit is everything. Now I literally had nothing and lost my rainy day financial security. This situation put me in a world of hurt. The financial and emotional burden was almost too much to bare. Not being able to find this client to sue him and bring this situation to justice made it a million times worse. I felt helpless and hopeless. It took me more than a year to even begin to accept the severity of my situation. I am a strong and vivacious person, but this sincerely knocked the wind out of my sails. Then Brian came to rescue. He is a bonified genius private investigator, and a seasoned pro. I had wasted thousands of dollars on other PIs who wasted my time taking forever to come up with inaccurate information that lead me on a wild goose chase trying to track down this client. I was so stressed out by the time I called Brian for help, I rented my car to someone for Uber who didn't have good intentions from that start long story short he refused to give me my car back and block me. When I called Brian he answered right away and looked into the matter right away he found out everything he needed to get my car back. Whenever I called Brian feeling bad and stressing he reassured me that it's Ok, he was very understanding that I'm a new business owner and gave me a big discount because he cares more about the person than the money and it showed because he picked up every call and answered every text no matter what of a very panicked person. He didn't like that I'm an honest working person and this not so nice person took advantage of me and he was determined to find him. I lost track of a good friend in 1990 and have tried to find her many times. I am usually pretty good at finding people, but continuously failed to find this one. I paid the $150 while we were on the phone and he emailed me his report. It showed all of her addresses for the past 30 years. There were two things that I was not aware of: She had married and was living 3,000 miles from where I had been looking for her. I called her the next day and it was an amazing call. We have been talking a few times a week since then and everything worked out great. I highly recommend LA Intelligence for both Brian and his Operations manager, Jordan's professionalism, respect for discreetness and their general business manners. If you are trying to find someone, call them. Don't waste years or months of your life looking, like I did. Let them find the person you want. It is easier, cheaper and faster. And nowhere near the expense I thought they would charge. It's the best 150 bucks I ever spent. There is a very good reason you see a five star rating with LA Intelligence... Let me explain... I had a very very bad situation with a car that I had leased... I had a 2017 Rang Rover and I just did not care for the car... Luckily I had a two year lease but with Range Rover, you cannot actually get out of a lease by having someone take it over for you... I had put the car on swapalease as an outright sale and was contacted by a scam artist and I urge anyone that is approached by someone third party about sub leasing your car to AVOID IT, especially in California... He had promised to help get me out of this lease or make the payments until the lease ran out... Every month was hassle, late payment, etc... The least was due to run out at the end of this month and he had not made two consecutive payments and had given no indication he would turn the car over... So i contacted Brian at LA Intelligence to help me... He had many strong methods he presented me of which he could help get the car back for me... It seemed impossible after chasing after car for so long and basically feeling it was not going to be returned.... within THREE days ONLY, the car was recovered... Recently someone stole some items from me and some of my friends. We all realized after a while that the culprit was someone we knew. Despite multiple police reports all naming the same suspect and the added seriousness that the stolen items included guns, the LAPD was not interested. They took the reports, called the suspect, told him they thought he didn't it, and then dropped the case. As more items went missing, we knew we had to do something and decided to hire a private investigator. I'd never hired a PI before, so I was very skeptical at first, and I've heard some horror stories, but I found LA Intelligence here on Yelp and after reading their stellar reviews, was pretty impressed. The suspect I later learned was a drug addict and possibly homeless so I did not set my expectations too high. After consulting with Brian, who made no promises, we decided to proceed with the investigation and it was not long before Brian had informed me that not only did they find the suspect, they actually befriended him and proceeded undercover. They got him to admit every detail of the crimes, including details I hadn't told the LAPD or Brian so at that point I was very certain this was the real deal. I was also given a very detailed report of every interaction with the suspect, with photographic proof. Brian then contacted LAPD to arrange to bring in an Undercover Police Detective which eventually led to his arrest. I am hoping that some of my stuff will be recovered and restitution will be ordered by the court, and I'll update this when any of that happens, but that will be a long road. It turns out that the suspect was planning more burglaries so in the interest of public safety, this ended very well for everyone. I was extremely impressed with Brian, LA Intelligence, and his entire team. This went far better than I could have ever hoped and I can guarantee Brian will be the first person I call for any incident in the future. If you have been the victim of a crime, the odds are very low the cops will do anything about it unless you do all their work for them and hand the evidence to them on a silver platter.
