White rice, black rice, ropa vieja and yucca

Another little gem found. Family owned hole in wall. You're treated as a regular from the first time you walk in. They have a rotating menu for the week with about 4 different meat options and several sides, which will always include rice and beans or congri. You will probably spend $6-7 per person. Delicious homemade food served daily that does not hurt your wallet. Cash only.

Been coming here since I was 6-7 years old and I'm now 17. Best Cuban food in the area at the most reasonable price. They truly are family.

I love coming to Las Palmas restaurant with my family. It's such a great restaurant for families…read more They serve delicious cuban food, they are known for their skirt steaks also known as Churrasco in Spanish. The food portions are pretty big. I like their appetizer sampler (Aperitivos Mixtos) it brought ham croquettes, meat patties, & pork rinds. I went with my immediate family, we were a group of eight people in total. The service was okay, they mixed up my bean order but I still ate what they gave me it honestly wasn't the biggest deal it was still quite delicious. I ordered Camarones al ajillo with black beans and white rice. It was phenomenal! My mother ordered herself a bandeja paisa, my brother in law ordered himself a skirt steak. We had a sangria to share as a family and it was quite tasty. I forgot to take pictures of the food as I was way too hungry. Overall, this is a super tasty Cuban restaurant in West New York, NJ. 10/10 recommendation.

They have a lunch special which I think it's $27 but it's smaller. Dinner price it's $41 and it's good. Also their sandwiches are sizable and flavorful as well even though not promoted as much as the steak it is good. This place is a West New York and Hudson county staple. It's been open ever since I was a baby. Try it. You won't regret it

Once we entered, we were seated at our table; there is a good amount of seating inside. I ordered from the lunch menu, which consists of an appetizer, main and dessert. I started off with the empanada de queso which was very cheesy and tasty. For my main, I got the half rotisserie chicken which comes with two sides, I got the rice and salad. The chicken was solid and the green sauce and hot sauce mixed together made for a nice dip for the chicken. Also got a pitcher of this purple drink, forgot what it was called but it was good. For dessert I got the tres leches cake, which was the right amount after the big meal. The portion size is very big and for the price ($14.75), you cannot beat that. They give you so much and def worth the trip. If you're in the mood for Peruvian food, I highly recommend place. * Street parking * Good service

The establishment is clean and well kept up, the service was excellent, my server was so lovely and kind. The food came out so unbelievably fresh too! I ordered Lomo Saltado and it came out piping hot and flavorful! The chaufa was so well made, fresh, very well seasoned too. Their food portion sizes are great for the value, and well presented. They also serve house made bread, and provide roasted corn with green sauce and salsa (both of which were delicious). From the ambiance, to the service, and the food, 5 stars all the way around. I had a great night, I will be a regular customer, and so should you. Thankyou for having me!

I liked the variety in the menu although i did not like that there were no descriptions- they need to fix this!!! I knew what items were but had to explain everything to my girlfriend who knew nothing. I ordered Ribs, chow mein, and a chuchito. All were really good and i would recommend. Full of authentic flavors. Portion was plenty big and the price of dishes is well priced in my opinion. $, not too expensive not too cheap. The vibe in the place is nice and looks like they put in a lot of effort to decorate! Service was good and they tried their best to explain menu items!

It was full, super lively, so many people are out there eating, and hanging out! I came back the next morning on Monday morning and checked out their baked goods and food. Of note, they are primarily Spanish-speaking, but you could just tell that the crew is so kind and welcoming and treats each other like family ! There was a guy from the back who spoke some English, and he helped me out with the menu and ordering. I got a cafe con leche (coffee with milk) ($3)sweetened which was SO GOOD. None of that watery coffee, but just so creamy and delicious! I think they made the Cuban style or added some sweetened condensed milk because it was absolutely delicious. Also got the banana bread (~$3) -- was yummy and perfect with the coffee! By itself was a tiny bit dry with a light and fluffy banana taste but sooo good with the coffee. And got the mixed tacos ($13) 4 tacos -- really great deal, with a mix of chicken, pork sausage, beef and maybe more pork? Also had a chopped radishes, cilantro, onion, and came with a few limes and salsa! Such a great deal and very protein filled! I love these types of restaurants and wish that my Spanish was better for next time.
