If you've been to the original location on E Lake Mead, this one has all the good stuff as well and easier to get to on the west side. The marinated meats are so good and one of my favorites is the chicken preparrado. Use it for grilled chicken tacos and when I host a party, all my guests absolutely love it. Plus - it's only $3.99/lb - super affordable. The carne asada is also really good as well. The refrigerator section has a good assortment of fresh made salsa and cheeses - I also go for these. When it's busy it can feel quite crowded but it's so worth it! read more

We absolutely love their marinated carne asada and their short ribs. Prices are reasonable and with lots of great Mexican goodies! Store is clean and staff is very friendly. Highly recommended! read more

IMO - the best carniceria in Las Vegas. Yes I've been to all the big brands - Cardenas, Marianas, La Bonita, El Super - etc. this place blows them all away hands down. I have been shopping here for 10+ years now. A tiny store tucked away on the corner of Decatur and Twain. it is super clean with a staff that is incredibly friendly. The meat counter is best in class and surprisingly affordable. Additionally, the produce is super fresh and offers a great selection! Give the store a try - trust me you will not be disappointed! read more

This place is a great place to get your cuts of meat for the carne asada! They have a great flavorful seasoning on their Carnes preparados. The service has always been good every time I go in there. Sure they speak Spanish but they also have English speakers there to help as well. The place looks like a little market. They also have a very good Mexican bakery that puts out some sweet and some savory stuff. They also have a little kitchen that serves up some good food. There is a big line for lunch so plan accordingly. read more

Quality meat . Worth a few bucks more . Small little market is amazing . I will go back

Paola was my server/cook. She took my order with a smile and great attitude. She stayed in the conversation while prepping my order. She definitely deserves a 5 star and she's the reason I will be coming back here for their lunch and breakfast. They have it all. The ambiance is Mexican but I'm Mexican so I'm happy. Spanish music, Mexican meat market vibes. Home in the wall but way better than the big chain markets. They got bread, medicine, drinks, produce, dairy. Don't miss out. Give it a shot. read more

The carne asada here is excellent. Best I've had from a Mexican market in Vegas. Their red salsa is also really good. Their fresh made chips are a little weird, but they grew on me. I also got some pan dulce and it wasn't bad either :) Will be back read more

Best meat market to get Ox-Tails. Also the customer service is awesome. They guys behind the counter is great.

Love this place meat market is amazing and prices are expected for non meat items they will be more than regular store as it is a convenience and mini market. Overall breads are amazing and meat quality is really good. read more

Terrible customer service, their cashier's are the worst in town!!!!! Esta carniseria da muy mal servisio, las cajeras son las peores!!!!!

fantastic meat market. great quality meat and good prices. panadería is also great too

We only come for the pollo asado but I've been eyeballing some of their other meat options as well. The chicken alone is enough to keep us coming back!! read more

Employees that are not helpful or attentive. Not great prices for the meats . Chaotic and disorganized lines to the counter - you have no idea what line you are in or even if you are in line . You may think you're in line - but when you get to the front of the line the cashier will tell you that wasn't the line and you have to go to the rear of the line that you were already in . Won't be back here when I can get all these products at more friendly and convenient markets. read more

Small but clean with lots of options. We got some lovely taco stuff from here. Definitely will go back and shop.

I'm a frequent customer. But I had to rant about the limes you get when you order at kitchen. They are yellow and spoiled. Limes are not supposed to be yellow. Get it right. read more

We purchased the marinated chuckroll and the marinated chicken breasts and made some of the best street tacos I've ever eaten. Our guests couldn't get enough of them and La Herradero helped make me the hero of my own party. The chuckroll and chicken were cut so thin they cook up quick. I was able to prepare 11 lbs of the beef and 6 lbs of the chicken in less than an hour on my charcoal and gas grills. Their produce is fresh and the garlic bulbs we picked up seemed to have more flavor than the ones you get from the big box supermarkets. Their red and green salsas were spicy and tangy and a nice accompaniment to the tacos. We picked up a cake for desert, too, and it was moist and delicious! I'm telling you, this place will help you make a dinner better than anything you will ever find in a Mexican restaurant here in the Vegas Valley. Give them a try! read more

They do not care about customers ladies they have there cooking totally ignored everyone waiting for food to let someone that I believe tips them on the side to jump infront of all of us and order like 10 different plated or more. It was insane zero respect for the cliental of the place. Line was long and they just didn't care all of them jumped on that one order I have never in my over 15 years as a chef ever seem that. What was this guy the president of the USA because the way they ignored the line he better have been, I guarantee they lost atleast 10 customers alone yesterday and I assume it is a daily thing so eventually that will probably be their only customer so maybe that is why they plan to only have one customer from now on. read more

The review is for the meat section. We recently discovered this store, thanks to my husband's coworkers. This is a small Mexican grocery store. We now come to this store for their marinated meats, definitely better than Mariana's and Cardenas (my go to store then). We usually get the flank steak and leg quarters. We will try Tasajo next as it came highly recommended by the same coworkers who told us about this place. read more

For some authentic Mexican dishes to go, this place is good. You can also find products for the Hispanic shopper! Yes, things that are imported in, so you can enjoy the real deal. I liked the carnitas tacos, which I never eat, but these were so good, I had to have them and the tortas are good too. I will totally be back. One of the best taco spots for carnitas in Vegas! read more

Employees rude and discourteous to the customers. Explained a few times I already had a drink with me entering and they followed to car twice asking the same thing, after spending over $160 in this store. I understand theft control however their approach and demeanor, handling the situation made me believe they were basically calling a customer a lier. There are cameras to verify. read more

This is the place to go to get your carne asada meats. The meats are marinated perfectly and after grilling, they come out tender and flavorful. I used to go to Cardenas to get my meats until a friend turned me on to this place and I am so thankful he did. We actually use this place to get meats for our company BBQs as well. There are never any leftovers and always rave reviews on the taste of the meats. And the prices definitely make the bigger mercado's look silly. Don't be dissuaded by the looks on the outside or when you walk in. This is definitely a diamond in the rough. read more

Location is a bit small but their meats are always fresh and their salsas. Bolillos are on point very soft and warm the majority of the time. Small but they carry a lot for bbqs or whatever other meals you might need to prep read more

We normally go to their #1store on Lake Mead Blvd, but we thought why not check out this store. Meat department was good. However, I felt the butcher kept putting too much in my bag, so I would buy more/pay more. I got to the cashier and their screen didn't work. Their salsas are NOT labeled, so you cannot tell which is very spicy and which is mild!l and they do not have prices! I asked the cashier if she could tell me how much was the charcoal and she told when I run it, you'll see. How was I going to see when their screen didn't work!! I couldn't tell what she was charging me! Their scanner for the credit card is not appropriately installed. You have to find the right position to turn and sign for your purchase. The cashier spoke very softly, I couldn't hear her. As I was walking to my car I noticed I was charged $22 for the charcoal! I had to returned it, and buy it at Smith's for $13.00 dollars, you're saving almost 1/2 of La Herradero price! I will not go back to this store. read more

Their meat is amazing! We bought some for news years, once in a while for dinner and I just called to check something and I will definitely be ordering very soon for an event. Ive called a few times to ask for a few things and Annette usually answers the phone and she is so polite, has patience and is very kind! I'm a white guy - can't really get whiter looking than me. I go into the store knowing there might be a language barrier. At the meat counter they're very helpful even when I have a special request. And there's always been at least one guy who speaks good English for when communication breaks down. The meats are always fresh and reasonably priced. The sweetbreads are top notch imo - but I have nothing to compare them to. The prepared food counter - I pretty much get ignored until I pipe up with a question. Then they are very helpful and will get a person who speaks English if necessary. I wish they had a menu! The vegetables are fresh. The prepared salsas are excellent and spicy. I've been going there once or twice a week for the last 6 weeks. Plan to keep going. I'd give it 5 stars but 5 stars suggests there's no room for improvement (things can always be better). One thing that would make it better is a dry erase board in the prepared food area that shows what they're up to back there - what dishes they've prepared for the day with pricing and stuff. That food looks awesome - can't wait to try some soup when the weather gets cold. read more

By far this was the best Carne Asada, short ribs, and chicken I have ever had. The seasoning was phenomenal and all of the meat was so tender. I am now back for the 3rd time since I have heard of this location last month. I live far away and this is well worth the drive. Juan was so helpful in helping me choose what would work for my BBQ. Hands down the best in Las Vegas or in all honesty the best that I've ever had! If you have not had to pleasure do yourself a favor and stop by and give this a try, you'll be more than glad that you did! read more

So just people are aware, im come from Los Angeles like a lot of people out here, so I'm used to eating at taco stands, trucks, sit downs, tias and tio spots etc lol. but this place by far the best meat in all of las vegas!. the ranchera! is the best, for all of the people that say they buy at bonita, cardenas and qll the big hispanic chains, forget that. this place is where its at when it comes to meat, they have the best ranchera, al pastor, and chicken, also their chorizo is a bit diff. but lemme tell u, its the best spot for it. trust. they also have pre-made salsa, guacamole, they have a kitchen that serves ready hot food, and a panaderia in there. some of the vegetables are a bit pricey, binita still hold it down for those prices. but if u wanna have a real backyard asada or just at home this is the spot. if u aint sure with the reviews, just go in there and buy a small amount, trust u won't regret it, worst thing to happen that I always say is if u don't like it at least u only spend a small amount to know this place ain't for u. but trust, ull be back. read more

Female employees are rude! They dont even try to smile or try to help you out by the food section. I was standing there for a good 15 mins and no one greeted me or say anything to me when i was trying to get their attention. 3 women are behind the counter just completely ignoring me but as soon as a Mexican arrived, right away they were smiling and all attentive. We were trying to tell the cashier when we were paying for our Carne Asada and all she said was,"yeah, i know" I'm not really sure if she understands what i was trying to say. We just left and it's clear to me that this place don't want our business. Do i have to look like Mexican to get their attention? If that's the case then put a sign outside the door that your establishment is for Mexicans only.To the owner of this business, your Carne Asada is the best in the valley but your gonna loss business just because your staff are very discramatory! read more
