We typically don't buy a lot of frozen prepared foods when we shop, but 168 has such a good supply of dumplings and the like we couldn't avoid buying a bunch. We bought the typical veggies, produce and the like. Hit up the dried noodle section as well as restocking our sauces and seasonings. We also hit up the bakery and got two loaves of their "special" bread. One loaf was their "side sliced" which means that they sell just the thin edge pieces all together in a loaf size package. So maybe not for everyone, but it makes great toast, thin and crunchy. Since we hadn't eaten a big breakfast, we took a number and ordered a combo meal, some congee and 4-5 dim sum items. Quick service, reasonable price and we actually had a pretty good brunchish meal. Authentic Cantonese and Mandarin with a touch of Szechuan ... not world class but good selection and certainly several steps above the typical fast Chinese food found at the panda places. (Didn't take pictures as we were too busy eating. By the way, the dining area was spotless. So all in all, filled up our shopping cart, had breakfast and out the door in an hour.

The times I've been here, it always feels old, cramped, messy with a slight funk like a bodega. But they have my favorite Asian snacks, drinks and produce. They even have the bottled jasmine tea I would get from vending machines in China that I can't find at other Asian stores. They have bags of Thai tea a third of the price Amazon would charge you for. Candy, chocolate, chips, cookies, rice crackers, tea in different varieties and forms, condiments, cooking supplies, juices, alcoholic beverages, fresh/ canned/ frozen/ dried fruits and vegetables, fish, seafood, meats, noodles, rice, buns, ice cream, health and beauty products, etc. from all Asian countries. He cares about his pockets and not his customers. You'll get better customer service from a child. CWP is one of the worst companies in our industry. Save yourself money, time, and headaches, don't do business with them.

When I visited on 7/18/25 around 10:30pm, I was helped by Cristi at the self check out. She was so friendly and nice and went above and beyond for us. She helped us get a rewards card and explained how it works, and just overall a great person to talk to. Note if you want to get cash back there is a $0.75 charge. Silly me I forgot to take my cash out from the dispenser, I hope Cristi or someone else in need have found it.
