From candy, fruits and veggies... Fresh or frozen seafood. Aisle after aisle after aisle and stacked high. Friendly service and tons of parking even in a busy strip mall. It's clean and relaxed. I wouldn't hesitate to drop in again for my Hi-Chews.

So, me and the other girl on my crew decided to check out the local 99 Ranch market deli. I know they have good food to go and you get to see the food before you order it! Some of the selections are quite authentic ... like chicken feet and deep fried little smelt fish or one dim selection that looked like white jello something. There other "normal" looking stuff too, like all the noodles and stir fries as well as I love the BBQ meats, like duck and BBQ pork and the deals they have on fried chicken! I got a bunch of food to go, and what we don't eat, I'm sure the guys on the crew will finish! I got some BBQ pork buns, BBQ pork spare ribs and fried chicken. I skipped the duck this time. All the food tasted wonderful as expected. The buns could have been warmer, but that's what a zap in the microwave is for at the hotel. We enjoyed the food and it was no hassle to get. Basically point and they get it for you, unless you speak Chinese!

I also very much appreciate the lower prices on produce, cheese, and dairy items. I also always find a new snack to try and most things are great. What store merely cuts the outer cardboard container that the manufacturer ships the item in and throws the entire case in the shelf? What happened to merchandising your shelves so that the store flows with some sort of order that makes sense? What store, aside from a thrift store maybe, would have outdoor swimming pools next to spices, feminine hygiene, and bread on the same aisle/shelves? What store requires you to pay to 'unlock' their carts INSIDE their stores? What store employee suggests you go to 'Walmart across the street' to get what you actually came to their store for? Absolutely disgusted, not simply unimpressed, with my first AND last trip to Aldi! I do NOT understand the draw to this chain..... not one bit! Someone tell this store's manager that there is a shopping car in Aisle 1 with minimal merchandise in it because it was ACTUALLY suggested we go to WALMART for NAME BRAND COCA COLA. We left the cart right where it was and donated the quarter we paid to unlock it, too!

They also offer a lot of fresh and frozen seafood. You can find a lot of groceries from all over the word here. They also sell some home decor, some kitchenware, and live bamboo plants and an assortment of Asian Pots and Asian Ceramics. This isn't a fancy place and also seems a bit worn. When you walk in you can the remains of a restaurant that is no longer in business. This place is great but- There is so much stuff that it is actually hard to find the things that you are looking for. I also didn't notice signs to direct you to particular countries or even continents. The biggest problem with shopping here are the very tight aisles. If you see someone with a cart there isn't enough room to go around them. Checking out can be challenging for some because it is like a maze with all kinds of things in your way so you have to figure it out. They also have a lot of merchandise that you don't see it until you are on the way out.
