Ironically, I was passing by a Grocery Outlet that was celebrating a grand opening (I believe a grand opening under new ownership) with various activities taking place in the parking lot (I wish that I had time to check them out). Entering the store, I was greeted by a very organized and clean floor plan. I was easily able to locate the alcohol section that is at the far right of the store (if you're headed there from the entrance). Similar to most Grocery Outlets that I have visited, they had a decent amount of beer and wine. They also had something that I have never seen before in a Grocery Outlet...liquor (i.e., tequila, vodka)! I was able to find the exact kind of wine that my wife desired and I found a prosecco that was created by James Harden (my fellow NBA fans know who I am talking about). Unfortunately, I was in a slight rush, so I did not get a chance to fully explore the store; therefore, I cannot speak to the other exclusive items that they may stock. I hear that the opening of this Grocery Outlet is a big deal, I can definitely see why. Good customer service and wine at fabulous prices, I recommend visiting this location!

While visiting in the midst of summer is mind numbingly hot, the market makes the heat (more or less) tolerable because the vendors are all arranged in the shade. Produce wise, there were 2 vendors. The first had maybe 5 tables full of veggies and fruits. The second vendor was smaller and only sold cherries, strawberries and grapes. If you're looking for nuts, there's plenty of that here too. I picked up 2 bags of pistachios, 1 container of spicy corn nuts, and 2 bags of dried fruit for $20. Besides Ruse Vegan Kitchen, there was a Crawfish place where we grabbed some fries ($4) and canned sodas. The Art Coffee Bus was also in attendance along with 2 other food trucks. The Las Vegas Farmer's Market at Bruce Trent Park may not be the biggest market in town, but it's worth a visit if you live nearby. YELP'S 2018 REVIEW CHALLENGE: #18

Nice selection of fresh produce, baked goods, specialty foods, flowers, plants, handmade items, pet treats and other local products. I liked that there was more than just fruits and vegetables so lots to look through. The market is located under The Pavilion, which provides some shade and makes it more comfortable to walk around. It's also in a great location since you can grab food, shop, or explore the rest of Downtown Summerlin afterward. It's a fun Saturday activity and a great way to support local small businesses. I'd definitely stop by again while visiting Downtown Summerlin!!

Downtown Summerlin Farmers Market occupies an enviable setting within one of Las Vegas's more…read moreaesthetically cultivated outdoor retail developments, where attractive pedestrian surroundings and a convivial, dog-friendly atmosphere lend Saturday mornings an agreeable recreational character. The architectural charm of its surroundings, however, eclipses the comparatively circumscribed agricultural assortment, whose premium pricing and limited gastronomic originality seldom substantiate the expectations associated with a dedicated farmers market. Extensive experience with farmers markets throughout California and Europe, including those in Nice, has established a discerning appreciation of the agricultural abundance and regional gastronomy characteristic of traditional marketplaces. Expansive assortments of seasonal produce, artisanal olive oils, preserves, jams, and freshly prepared regional specialties have exemplified the culinary diversity encountered at such establishments, where agricultural provenance and gastronomic craftsmanship occupy a central position in the commercial experience. Downtown Summerlin's iteration, conversely, resembles an upscale handicraft bazaar, with a relatively small complement of fruit, bakery, and condiment vendors interspersed among purveyors of jewelry, skincare, and miscellaneous lifestyle merchandise. The resulting commercial composition is not inherently objectionable, but its attenuated agricultural character diminishes its appeal as a destination expressly devoted to food and produce. The culinary offerings have likewise proven uneven in their capacity to justify premium pricing. Certain condiment vendors, including those specializing in salsa, have offered gratifying preparations, yet the produce and baked goods sampled have seldom demonstrated a discernible superiority of flavor or an originality of preparation commensurate with their elevated cost when compared with offerings available elsewhere. Nor has the assortment exhibited much novelty relative to comparable markets. Some bakery selections employing coconut-based substitutions in lieu of more conventional ingredients have been especially unpersuasive from a sensory standpoint, their alternative formulations failing to deliver the flavor expected of accomplished baked goods. Independent provenance and artisanal presentation may warrant a premium when accompanied by exceptional craftsmanship or distinctive sensory qualities; neither, however, constitutes an intrinsic guarantee of superior gastronomic merit. The market's location introduces further logistical inconveniences. Despite Downtown Summerlin's substantial parking infrastructure, Saturday morning congestion can make securing a convenient space unexpectedly laborious. Temporary street closures associated with market activities also necessitate detours through portions of the development, complicating access for visitors unfamiliar with the altered circulation. Prospective visitors would therefore be well advised to anticipate a less straightforward arrival than Downtown Summerlin's ordinarily ample parking provisions might imply. As an incidental diversion during an existing Saturday excursion to Downtown Summerlin, the market possesses a certain charm. The attractive surroundings, opportunities for leisurely browsing, and abundance of accompanying dogs provide agreeable recreation, while occasional worthwhile vendors may reward a casual exploration. As a dedicated farmers market, however, its comparatively restricted agricultural selection, unexceptional culinary offerings, and premium pricing diminish its appeal as an independent destination. Its pleasures are most persuasive as an incidental accompaniment to a Saturday excursion, rather than as the principal inducement for undertaking one.

First off, their shopping carts require a quarter to use but don't worry, you get it back when you return the cart. As you can imagine the service in check out goes by pretty quick, they literally throw all your items into your cart and you'll move on to the side counter to bag them up. Aldi has a great variety of grocery staples, especially when it comes to produce. The best way I can describe it is: imagine if Walmart had a store mostly filled with Great Value products and very few name brands that's the Aldi vibe. I picked up about 17 grocery items for around $45. Anywhere else, that probably would've cost me closer to $60 or more. You really get a good bang for your buck. If you're not too concerned about name brands, this is a great spot to save money. They don't have hot food, but their cold meats were surprisingly affordable. I grabbed marinated carne asada for $8 and al pastor for $6, such a good deal. I'd definitely come back for produce, pantry items, and some of their meats. Overall, I really liked Aldi!
