This company came highly recommended on a FB group page. I received quotes from two other companies to clean up and trim my overgrown hedge. Alejandro arrived on time for the estimate and provided a quote in a timely manner. The quote was about what I was expecting to pay, and close to what the other business quotes were. My hedge looks great, a natural trim, exactly what I wanted. The La Hermosa crew cleaned up so well that you can see my patchy grass and bare spots once hidden under the overgrown hedge and dead leaves. Once we get further into Spring, the grass will grow back. When Alejandro was here, I showed him other areas/projects I had, one of which was a bad hack job by a handyman who didn't exactly know how to lay or prep the space for heavy flagstones. Alejandro made no comment about the work or mess, he DID explain what he'd do to prepare the area. Which is what I had learned after the handyman's hack job; what should had been done. The quote to prep a new area for the flagstones, move/set the flagstones, then prep the old are where the flagstones were.. and add brick pavers to that new area was a more than fair price. Hopefully in about a month or so I will be sharing photos of my new brick patio and charming flagstone path. read more

La Hermosa has been providing landscape maintenance service for my home for a couple months now and they have done a great job. The first visit they did damage the water meter cover, and they replaced it with a new cover. They also recently winterized my irrigation system. Reasonable prices for both the maintenance and winterization. read more

La Hermosa winterized my sprinklers in the fall. The pressure damaged some components. They said they could fix it in the spring. In the spring, they had a two week wait. They confirmed my appointment for a Tuesday but did not show up. I received a text they would be there the next day. They did not show the next day. They said they had a house that damaged the water main but they could come the following week and I was third on the list. They did not show up again. They then stopped answering calls or texts. I plan to write to the BBB. The company is not upfront with timelines and takes no ownership of their mistakes. The worst part is they continued to say they would be there until they stopped communicating. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. read more
