They did not touch the Lilacs. Some of the Arborvitae were below gutters and some were not. A neighbor even stopped to make a negative comment. They were there from 7:00am until sometime around noon. It costs $1685. Also when I initially contacted him I told him our property manager had referred them to me. He didn't tell me he didn't know her. When my husband handed him cash he asked " no tip?" No tipping not for the quality of work but not communicating a simple request and it altering our evening. 3. My property manager had contracted with Tung Yard Work for gardening and yard work. I walked the…read moreproperty with him and noted the work that needed to be done and how the landscaping should be pruned. Tung Yard Work did a good job with the general clean up with the decking and brick nicely tidied up. When I returned to view the work, I was shocked and dismayed at the condition of the 50+ mature rhododendrons, raspberries, blueberries and currents. All rhodies had been pruned to the stalks, this not only left them bald but completely wiped out a years worth of bloom. A mature stand of raspberries had been razed, there were none left. Gone. The same thing happened with other mature bushes - they had been hacked off about an inch above the ground. It will take years for them to return. Evergreens, that had been 4-5 feet tall had been pruned to the point where they were skeletal and will take even longer to return. Tung promised to plant some filler plants on the barren raspberry plot but did not return to do it. I would not recommend Tung. What was a beautiful, mature and lush garden could only be described as lunar...the damage was indescribable.

They cut and trim every two weeks during growing season and a few times a year they do major tree and shrub work. They reseed when appropriate, remove the invasive ivy that would cover my brick house as well as between my rock garden. Best of all, they always show up when expected and put the invoice in my mail box. Very professional and courteous.
