I have ordered from La Gratella several times and lately they have been incredibly rude. They will not allow for VERY EASY substitutes in salads and sandwiches, and actually condescend you when you ask for them. For example, I did not want mushrooms on a salad, and they would absolutely not remove them and actually said, "Pick another salad, there are ones without mushrooms." Unless these items are pre-made, I see no reason for this. Whereas the food is about par, I will never order from here again based on how horribly they treat their customers. read more

My office orders from them regularly. Our last order was wrong as we ordered the lunch salad which it states on the menu is form 11-4 pm. We got the food and the bill and it didn't add up. We called them and they told us that's the DINNER SALAD. If we don't tell them we want the lunch salad they will upgrade so they can make more $$$! That is ridiculous. this is not the first time this has happened! We called to ask them to adjust as its a $3 difference. The owner had the delivery guy take back ALL of the food. We called a half hour later to see if the driver was on his way back with the food and he yelled at us saying no and that hes not bringing us any food back and that hes throwing it away!!!! really? They are rude and always trying to make an extra dollar wherever they can DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS. There are so many other options in the area!!!! read more

Ordered pizza to pick was told 15 minutes. Arrived was told it would be a few minutes. Total time was 45 minutes. Was told every Friday is like this asked why do you tell people 15 minutes on the phone. He asked the guy answering the phone he said he didn't tell me 15 minutes. That was it no apology or nothing. NEVER EVER get pizza here, we got half sausage half chicken buffalo pizza, and we got goddamn salmon and ketchup on flatbread. I highly recommend frozen pizza from some back alley over their poor excuse of a "pizza", the waiters and waitresses are all rushing around when there are about 15 people in the shop, this creates a sense of urgency, which was not pleasing when trying to eat our garbage pizza, I will never come here again, save some money, go to anthony and sons a quarter mile down the road. read more

We had dinner here for the first time. I guess the pizza and the sandwiches are pretty good based on the reviews. But we ordered the dinners and I have to tell you that they were really not good. My wife had vegetable Primavera. The pasta was whole wheat and the vegetables were just eggplant and zucchini in a green brown sauce. We weren't quite sure what it was and it was absolutely gross . In the past I ordered from here when I worked in Randolph and I wasn't sure if they delivered to my home. Anyhow..... If it was possible to give zero stars I would.. the service from this place is beyond disappointing. I ordered a sandwich that comes with sundried tomatoes and requested that instead of the tomatoes if they could substitute for roasted red peppers. When I received my food it did not have sundried tomatoes or the roasted red peppers I requested. I then looked at the receipt and saw they charged me $2 for a substitution that they didn't even give me. When I called to complain they said they were too busy to come up with a way to refund me and gave me an attitude about it only being $2. Which I would agree but then it was also only $2 when they felt the need to charge me. The owner is arrogant and rude. Marios is better and the staff is much more pleasant. read more

This place is super good! They have a huge menu. I ordered the pepperoni role and I watched them make it from scratch. Most places would just reheat something pre-made. I will definitely be back to check out the pizza, paninis, and salads. read more

Pizza was okay. Nice decor inside. Nice staff. What really put me off was our doggy bag... The waiter took the two slices of leftover pizza and put them on top of each other with the cheese sides together..... Who does that? I'm the casual 'stop in for a slice' customer, and I've never been let down. The people are very nice and helpful. The place looks clean. It's nice to see their version of a grandma style pizza available. Most places around here don't even offer it. Every other slice I've had has been really good too. I like the sauce and the toppings are fresh. I can't speak for their regular menu though; haven't tried anything yet. Definitely will be going back. read more

We were looking for a new pizza place in the area after getting bored of the usual joint. Tried this a few times as it's on the way home from work. After a couple trips, noticed an odd trend on busy nights: it seems like they're pre-making popular pizzas and just warming them up, instead of making every order fresh. Finally realized this when I called on my way down RT 10. I was closer than I realized, so instead of going all the way home and back out, figured I'd just stop in and wait inside the store. I got there about 3 minutes after I hung up and the guy asked if he could help. I told him my order # but said I'd just sit until it's ready. He said "oh it's right here." Was confused and surprised, but didn't think much of it until I got home and the pizzas had clearly just been sitting around and got a cursory toss in the ovens to warm them up. Thought maybe it was an isolated incident but happened again twice. People seem to like their food, but with all the options around here, I'm not paying for leftovers. read more

Very good Italian food, large portions at nice prices. I've been two to events where the food was catered from La Gratella and it was phenomenal. The garlic knots are addictive. Literally can't stop eating them. If your going to cater get the chicken la Gratella, garlic knots, penne with chicken and vodka sauce, and any of their pizza. Stop in for lunch for their lunch specials ($7.99) and you won't be disappointed. Very pleased with the food here. read more

Ok so let's start my first review with this, the service was ok. We had to wait for about 10 minutes to receive our food. I had spaghetti with meatballs and my dad had four cheese and a regular slice of pizza. The spaghetti sauce is pretty good it has some chunks in it but It was alright considering I don't like chunks. My dad also likes his pizza he said it was good. The meatballs on my spaghetti were good and the dish was very hot. IDE say the dinner was a 4 stars! I will be visiting again! read more

We used to order from La Gratella a few times a month. My kids loved their pizza and I was a fan of their mussels marinara. Unfortunately the last couple times we noticed a definite change in the quality of their food, especially the pizza. Their pizza used to have a really good flavor to it. The crust was always nice and chewy, not over cooked. About a month ago placed an order for delivery, mussels, pizza and chicken saltimbocca. Mussels marinara was supposed to be hot, came in white sauce. Pizza was overcooked. My wife ate the chicken saltimbocca and about an hour later had intestinal distress and was in the bathroom off/on through out the night. Contacted La Gratella the following day and spoke to a manager voicing my concerns. I wasn't looking for a refund, just wanted to call and let them know what happened. I didn't even get an apology. So we stopped ordering from them. Last night (10/12/18) I was in a bind and needed to order pizza to feed the kids. I couldn't run out to pick up pizza so I placed an order for delivery from La Gratella. They told me 45 minutes to an hour for delivery, 20 minutes later the delivery man was at my door. The pizza was disgusting. The crust was dry and overcooked, cheese was burnt, and it had barely any sauce on it. and... it was cold. I assume they sent me a pie that had been sitting around for a while. I will not be ordering from them again in the future. There are several other pizzerias in the area that offer a superior pizza, but unfortunately they do not offer delivery. read more

My friend and I ordered a salad and wings for delivery. The delivery driver was upset when he finally arrived because he had apparently gotten lost trying to find the house. My friend said she was sorry for the inconvenience, tipped him and wished him a great evening. About 20 minutes later we got a call from the restaurant to tell us that they will not be delivering to us again because 1.) It's too far 2.) The driver got lost and 3.) "THE TIP WAS SMALL" I have NEVER in my life been so insulted. It seemed as though they expected us to overcompensate the tip just because the driver had gotten lost. Although we do feel bad he got lost, this is not our monetary responsibility to bare. We absolutely gave a respectable tip and I cannot even believe they had the audacity to call us back and even dare mention our tip. I have worked in the service industry in the past and even if I got stiffed I would never do what they did. I am appalled at the level of customer service...or lack thereof... THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! Not only is the food good, but the service is wonderful. We came with a party of eight on a sunday night. and our waitress was wonderful! Her name was Alice, i believe. She was by far the best server we've ever had. she was all alone and seemed to have everything under control. When we were looking over the menus she made suggestions (boy were they good!!) she knew the menu inside and out. and she told jokes that were beyond funny. our glasses were never empty and the dirty plates were cleared out of our way as soon as we took our last bite. To the pervious reviews complaining about the service, i have no idea what you're taking about, but i think you need to give it one more shot. i have no complaints with our server. as far as the food, it's amazing. our server recommend the chicken saltimboca and it was exactly what she described. it was amazing. the sauce was very good. no one at our table was disappointed. we all started off with a few slices and they were just as good as the meals. the atomsphere there is a little chaotic with all the delivery boys coming in and out and everything. but if you catch them on a semi-slow night i'm sure it'll be better as far as that goes. there seems to always be loud noices coming from behind the glass, but all in all it's wonderful. we're definitely coming back. read more

La Gratella has gone down hill since Victor sold it in July. The pizza is not the same, you can tell the new owners are short cutting everything. Nalo is still there which is good but they got rid of most good employees. The attitude of the new owners and whoever answers the phones now is horrible. You can't buy a place and make major changes and expect people to still go there. Too bad because we loved going there. read more

Ordered 2 pies 1/2 buffalo chicken/white & a plain pie. Once We got them home they were gloppy & uncooked. Owner offered to pick them up, but we were already trying to recook & salvage our $35.00 spent. He offered no other way to compensate for their BAD Food. Not going back..Yuck. read more
