Drinks came out quickly and were good, and we put in food orders. Since we all got some sort of BBQ, the orders came out quickly. I love a good Salad Bar, but this trip none of us wanted that big a meal...either with the Salad Bar, or just the Salad Bar...etiher is a decent commitment if you're going to do it right! At any rate, our food came quickly and was very good. I got a Fried Onion Brisket Sandwich. The brisket melted in my mouth and the combo of flavors was great! My brother got the Pulled Rib, and my wife got the Pulled Pork...both were very good, though my wife said the pulled pork was a bit higher in fat for her slightly delicate system this time around (she's had it before), but was tasty nonetheless. Service was efficient, polite and friendly. Very casual atmosphere, but booths, tables, and the bar as options. Some quiet corners and lots of space out in the open. Definitely worth a try!!

For our entree, we order the Pad Gra-Pow, great combo and different for me but good and spicy like I like it. Be careful of the spicy fish oil...it's dangerous. Great ambiance, off the beaten path for an enjoyable experience.

ONLY ORDER LAMB AS TAKEOUT!! So you can use your own sauce…read more The Lamb and the Service is still excellent However I'm sorry to have to give an update on my lamb dish. Apparently due to new owners they are going with a nasty bbq sauce to dip your lamb in. Very poor choice and I was highly disappointed. The Lamb was cooked to perfection again so the chef hasn't changed. I had to take my lamb home to put on my own sauce, which was mint jelly although I liked the plum sauce they used to serve. I will only order this dish if I'm going to order take out. The previous plum sauce was delicious and married all the flavors together. It was so yummy. My recommendation to the owners is to GO BACK, to the old plum sauce!! Please. They have lots of other dishes and the dining atmosphere is still nice.

The portions were a little small but again, it was good. If you really like Cole Slaw and you are eating here, I would recommend substituting the Cole Slaw for something else. It was the most bland tasting Cole Slaw I have ever eaten in my life. It literally had NO taste what so ever. The waitress was decent but nothing special. She was really busy so I think that part may have been better had they had another waitress working. The Ambiance was decent. The Restaurant was clean. If I come back, I may try a different meal.

I ordered the Chef Queso Fundido based on his recommendation, and while I appreciated the guidance, the dish itself didn't quite live up to the hype for me. My bartender, Tina, makes a very solid Flor de Desierto -- easily the highlight of the drinks. However, the raspberry margarita leaned more syrupy than fresh, which threw the balance off. The restaurant is lively and energetic, with live music (a solo guitarist) and a packed house. It's clearly a popular spot and has a fun, upbeat atmosphere. That said, the overall vibe felt more like a "Mexican‑themed chain restaurant" than an authentic Mexican dining experience. If that's your style, you'll probably love it. For my personal taste, it just wasn't quite what I look for in Mexican cuisine. The staff were wonderful, but the food and overall authenticity didn't quite hit the mark for me.
