The food here great. This was my first time eating here and at a location like this. The waitress was super helpful and knowledgeable. She explained everything to me on the menu and what came with what. The inside was nice and clean and fun to see. The flavor was amazing, I had the everything mix flavor. Loved the chunks of garlic and the seasonings in it. Will definitely be back. Change up my menu a bit. read more

My first & last visit to this establishment. We had calamari, popcorn shrimp & hush puppies as appetizers. The calamari was obviously processed, as it looked like Spaghetti-Os, the popcorn shrimp was essentially batter & the hush puppies were lousy. Not one item could be deemed even passable. The rest of the meal spiraled downward from there. The steamed (boiled?) shrimp was tasteless & the crab cakes - well, I've never had such a horrid dish in my life. They were heavily battered & deep fried & looked like a mound of excrement. (see photo) The only potato choices were fries or boiled. No baked. All in all, do not waste your time nor money here. This is our second time being here and was hesitant to go back based on the reviews. However, the bad reviews couldn't be more wrong. Our server was attentive, kind, and welcoming. We each got a boil. I received the 1/2 snow crab and 1/2 shrimp, all mixed seasonings and medium spice. The shrimp and seafood were done perfectly. The spice level could have been a bit spicier but they have sriracha to help. My bf got 1/2 snow crab, 1/2 shrimp, and added 1lb of crawfish. He stated the seafood was also cooked perfectly. Though, he requested extra hot and mentioned he wished it was spicier. We were so excited to eat we only took one photo. Despite the reviews, please check this place out. The food is not that I was expecting, good service though. You could tell the food was frozen, I think they did do their own breading. The fried rice was made to order which was nice, but too much oystersauceand oil. Overall, pricey for the quality of the food. But like I said, service was very good. read more

Sadly we thought we were going to get some good food but that wasn't the case. very salty/no spice what so ever. Over cooked. Our server was awful! I had add ons and we didn't even get them. So we thought no big deal we will let her know when she returns. Well it took her over 15 mins to return. She added over a $30 tip and came to our table a total of 4 times. Asked for separate checks and she couldn't even get that right. So we ended just paying for everyone's food. Do not recommend. read more

On any other day service and food has been great, however, i'm not sure if it's due to inflation or general laziness but the food quality has declined drastically. Went to get crab legs and was looking so forward to it, but within 20 minutes of eating I had to make an emergency rush to the bathroom for the crab to exit. I understand the stress of customers asking for refunds but when one of them is literally throwing up your food in your restroom you should rethink. i left feeling hungry, sick, and belittled. On any other day food has been great, so please go at your own discretion. read more

Great food! Great service! We had family visiting from out of town and they loved it too.

$30 for 8 shrimp, 2 little red potatoes 1 half ear of corn and 4 tiny crab legs. If this place is going to stay open in Iowa they need to provide more value. I woud expect to pay more for fresh seafood but this was definitely frozen. I know seafood is expensive right now but the portion size was ridiculous. The extra star is for the service. Yummy would be a NOT! We tried it once and that was enough. Dropped a chunk of change for entree's we left on the table. My wide ordered the crab legs and I ordered the lobster tail. We opened the bag and this horrible, fishy smell came pouring out. Both entree's had the same smell and the taste was awful. We each tried 2 bites, pushed it to the side of table and we were done. Even the potatoes in the bag had the same horrible taste. Neither of us ordered any seasoning that would be the cause of that. My wife said it smelled and tasted like catfish, in her opinion. The waitress came back to check on us and she noticed we basically hadn't even touched our food. She was nice and tried to be helpful but there was no fixing this. She said the manager is not going to take anything off your bill just because you didn't like the food. I told her that was fine, I wasn't asking for that nor did we expect it. All we told her was about the fishy odor and taste when she asked us what was wrong. The manager did come out to talk to us before we left and he tried to reassure us that they kept different seafood separate, but he had no explanation for the situation. He offered something to take home, a dessert or something, I told him no thanks. The fried food we ordered for appetizers was ok and as expected, but that's the only positive I can give. We came, we tried, we left. No plans to try it again. read more

Service was poor every time we needed something we had to get the waitresses attention. The shrimp was over cooked and extremely tough. The three bills for our tables had to be corrected because of wrong information on the bills. Definitely will not go back. Save your money! read more

Went there today and had the crab cakes which are clearly frozen and deep fried with filler as I could not find and crab meat. Got the blue crab and lobster which the lobster was good but the crab was small and over cooked. The potatoes were ok just needed to be left in the juice for a while the corn was also way over cooked. The bill came to $115 bucks for two of us and I would have been happier at red lobster of Texas Roadhouse. Safe your money and stay away from this place. read more

Went for my daughters birthday. i made reservations. The hostess wasnt very friendly, didn't speak very good english and she couldn't find my reservation which i called that afternoon. Not a good start :( Finially found it... Ordered #2 with extra 1/2 pound shrimp and sausage and corn. When our food came all we got was shrimp, 1 corn and a potato??? NO crab, sausage or extra potatos and corn like we ordered. Questioned her and she did her job right it was the cook that didn't do their job right. The owner had to come to our table and we had to explain to him that we didn't get what we ordered which was weird. it was like he didn't believe our waitress? Our waitress was awesome. She made it right. For spending over $170 and the crab wasn't full...no meat for what you pay for. Very disappointing. It is a cool place just bad experience for the first time and we have been to a few that are similar to this. read more

Got the King Crab. Prices for that dish for sure were $$$, but it was a treat. The food was great, although what I thought was unconventional, I guess this sort of place will usually either dump the food on the table or serve it in a pouch (that's what they did). I was skeptical prior to entering but I ended up having a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the food was superb. The crab and other seafood was not fishy at all which I usually my biggest worry. While it was a bit pricey, that is to be expected when paying for high quality seafood and you get what you pay for.
