We worked closely with Alison, Danielle, and Lauren over the course of a year and a half, and from start to finish, they were creative, calm, detail-obsessed, and just genuinely lovely human beings. They brought our vision to life in ways we couldn't have imagined. Every detail felt intentional and deeply personal, and somehow, the entire weekend felt both elevated and effortless. Our wedding was FLAWLESS. Coming from two people who weren't even sure we wanted a wedding, we were blown away by how much FUN we had. We can't stop gushing about it. Our guests are still telling us it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. A special shoutout to Alisha, our day-of coordinator and real-life fairy godmother. She made everything on the bride side run seamlessly and was truly everywhere at once. From logistics to emotional support, she had me covered. I don't know what I would've done without her. Alison Events isn't just a wedding planner. They're a creative partner, a team of steady hands, and at times, our therapist through a very real and occasionally overwhelming process. If you're lucky enough to work with them, trust them completely. They are actual magic.

On top of it, we thought we were laid-back/go with the flow people, but I'm pretty sure I should concede to being a control freak at this point in my life. I still don't know how they pulled off what they did, but they made our wedding absolutely amazing, and somehow made even the planning process pretty stress free (not easy to do when you decide to do a destination wedding 3-4 months out). The team truly delivers from every angle - style, creativity, efficiency, effectiveness - they helped us figure out what we wanted and were realistic with us about what what was doable. During our event, they managed everything down to a T, and did everything in their power to make it an incredible experience. After they saw I wasn't totally thrilled with the bouquet the florist brought (it was kind of giant), Jesse magically reworked the bouquet in the minutes before the ceremony to make it perfect. And they just bring joy and warmth to the whole thing. I now wish I had spent a whole year planning our wedding just so I could have spent more time with Jesse and Andrea (I basically begged them to be my friends in real life after it was all over). If you have a chance to work with AE, do it. There is a reason they have an international reputation - they are absolutely the best of the best.

She brought every dream, every little whim, and every vision we had to life in the most intentional, beautiful, and grounded way. We had the joy of working with Carrie for nearly two years, and throughout that time she helped transform countless ideas into the unforgettable weekend our family and friends experienced. She was consistently joyful, brilliant, thoughtful, and kind through every single phase of the planning process. Somewhere along the way, Carrie stopped feeling like our wedding planner and became family. She navigated every challenge with remarkable grace and calm, shielding us from behind-the-scenes problems so we could simply be present and enjoy the experience. No matter what came up, she handled it with confidence and care. Not once during our wedding weekend did we feel stressed, rushed, or out of the loop. Instead, we felt completely supported, cared for, and free to soak in every single moment. That is an extraordinary gift, and one we will be grateful for for the rest of our lives.

That would not have been possible without Carrie's hard work. She made it very easy for us by taking all the tough work of finding and coordinating the vendors, allowing us to focus on the big picture experience we wanted for ourselves and our guests. Everything from the catering, to the florals, the layout, the decorations, the guest experience, etc was exactly how we wanted it. She checked in with us every step of the way to make sure things were proceeding on track. When it came to the day of, it was very reassuring to have her and her team there making sure we knew exactly what was going on and what we needed to do. We both fed off of her genuine excitement for us. I can safely say that hiring Carrie was the best decision we made during the entire process.

The entire process from ideation, design, planning, and day-of execution was flawless, we couldn't be more happy with how everything turned out. Lally has incredible taste and a knack for design. She went above and beyond to deliver on the romantic, industrial, and modern design aesthetic we wanted to have for our special day, everything single detail was perfect. Lally is extremely organized and deeply connected in the wedding planning and events space in the Bay Area, which proved to be immensely valuable when selecting and partnering with our vendors. I had so much fun working with Lally on my wedding and seriously cannot recommend Lally Events enough, you will not regret your decision to hire her as your wedding planner!

If you're not sure you need a wedding planner, TRUST ME, you do, and you should go with Lally. Throughout the whole planning process up until past midnight after our actual wedding day, Lally was there at any time to help with whatever we needed. No joke, she cares so much that she made sure our maid of honor got to her room after a couple too many drinks, WAY after the event was over and all the guests were gone. She is the definition of caring, reliable, and trustworthy. At any point that my wife and I felt anxious or unsure of something, Lally was there to immediately take care of it and make us feel 1000% more relaxed and excited. We've been to many weddings since we got married, have seen how poorly in comparison their wedding planner was in handling an issue and always look at each other and say "Thank God we had Lally for our wedding!" I could go on and on about how highly we recommend Lally to anyone getting married. Your wedding should be the best day of your life. It was for us because of Lally, and it will be for you if you choose her as well.

Matt and Patrick were extremely friendly and the food was to die for! We celebrated our microwedding in Mill Valley and I have always selected new restaurants based on yelps top reviewed restaurants. I figured this would be the best way to go to select a catering option for an area we're not local to or able to try before in person. The reviews did not steer us wrong. We would love to book again after experiencing the food and stellar service. Appetizers: We ordered the heirloom tomato bruschetta which was one of my favorites! The tomatoes were fresh and every bite was memorable! The goat cheese croquettes were to die for and the braised pork shoulder had everyone coming back for more! Dinner: I'm not a huge kale person but we had an amazing kale Caesar salad that had me hoping I could recreate it at home. I honestly don't think there was any left over! It was accompanied by the grilled antipasto platter which complemented the lasagna dinner we had perfectly! The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection! We had the classic bolognese lasagna and red wine braised boneless beef short ribs for our dinner option which were gone in the blink of an eye. Dessert: To top it off, we finished with the mini amaretto panna cotta and blackberry coulis. They were as delicious as they were aesthetically appealing!

My husband and I were set on having pupusas for our wedding, and it was a surprisingly difficult thing to accomplish. From all of our efforts and research, pupuserias don't really do wedding catering, and wedding caterers don't really do pupusas, but Chef Matt pulled it off for us on a whole nother level of excellence! When we originally reached out to him, he just said that they could do it, and we were ecstatic. At our first tasting, he had already gone to his local pupusa spot to analyze the timing, and watch the whole process. He hadn't done pupusas before, but had the drive, determination, and confidence to pull it off for us. When our wedding day came, we along with every one of our guests were absolutely blown away by the quality of every bit of food and drinks that they provided us all with. He was able to find the wife of a Salvadoran friend, and her mother, to help him make them all fresh on our wedding day, on a plancha that they were able to bring. The vibe was incredible, the food was impeccable, and even the Salvadorans attending were incredibly impressed. From the yucca fries to the plantain chips, from the guacamole to the curtido, from the coffee to the agua frescas, from the salsas to the amazing service, from the compostable serving ware to the incredible bartender. People still can't stop raving. The pupusas, the dips, the black chili salsa, the coffee, just everything. Kharma worked with us relentlessly over every tiny detail to get all of it right, and everything came together SO beautifully, and went SO smoothly without even the smallest hitch. Chef Matt and the Epicurean Escape Catering team literally made our dreams come true. We cannot recommend them enough!!!

They provide the absolute best service of any hotel I've ever been to. The staff seem genuinely happy to be there and to help out and the services they have are incredible (complimentary breakfast delivered to your room, wine hour(s), freshly baked cookies). We also forgot dog bowls and asked the front desk if they had anything we could use in the meantime. They ended up giving us dog bowls to use! Their crib was also available to use free of charge and the pet fee was super reasonable. The hotel itself isn't the most modern and chic, but it was clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful location. The only somewhat tricky part of staying here was the parking - it was about half a block or so away but the parking lot was often quite full and sometimes we had to park at the very far end of the lot which could be a little inconvenient but not the fault of the hotel by any means - just the nature of being smack dab in the middle of the main street of the city. We would 1000% stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

Beautiful views of San Francisco from the second floor outdoor seating area. Friendly staff. Located next to the ferry dock. I would like consistency in quality of the coffee. I saw one of the staff people taking coffee from the brewing machine while it was actively making the coffee so they got the "good stuff". If this is a regular practice, no wonder the coffee was bad.
