It's completely absurd to have such a large area unoccupied when other areas are extremely crowded, especially when they need cable machines. If I had known this was the policy of keeping certain spaces disabled and unused, I wouldn't have signed up. I think it's terrible; don't sign up at this place. I've been a member of LA Fitness and currently pay $660/month for 3 days a week with a personal trainer. Unfortunately, my experience has been consistently frustrating. About 90% of the time, the equipment required for my workouts isn't available. Even basic, easy-to-fix items are neglected -- for example, the yoga balls have been flat for months. I asked multiple times for them to be inflated, yet nothing was done for over 3 months. There seems to be little effort put into maintaining equipment or ensuring the gym is properly stocked. On top of that, there's no real system in place to prevent members from taking or misusing equipment, which only makes things worse. For the amount I'm paying, I expected a facility that was well-maintained, functional, and supportive of members' fitness goals. Instead, it feels like upkeep and member needs are not a priority. read more

I have blocked a few numbers and they still call from different numbers all day everyday. I have told them to stop calling me and I am STILL GETTING HARASSED. This gym is a joke. The weights are never put back and the employees just sit around and don't do anything. Never see them walking around to put weights back or to make sure everything at the gym is running good. The fact that I'm paying monthly too and for the basketball court to just be closed off for more then 2 years and hasn't been changed to either a stretching room or another leg machine/squat rack room is crazy. The only time the employees actually do their job is when corporate comes in to see if everything is running smoothly but they're never like that everyday. Another issue is that there's this guy that thinks he owns the gym and brings his speaker and blast his music so loud that so many people complain about him and this guy hasn't gotten kicked out for constantly doing the same thing everyday is crazy. The gym is really big and spacious, but some of the machines need some attention towards their functionality. One of them had the seat very loose. The staff can be rude and dramatically bothering. I had a friend who was basically being misjudged and embarrassed by one of the staff. My least favorite la fitness to be honest. read more

This is a busy gym, majority of the machines I used worked except a treadmill, no worries just move on to the next one. The only problem I have here is the inconsiderate members. I probably wouldn't visit this location again unless I had no choice, other than that the showers and facilities clean. Time for a PSA - Please be considerate of others around you. Wearing dirty gym clothes or thinking it is ok to not shower for days and come to the gym, is gross (YOU STINK, Yes you!, I am talking to you bruh). Sanitize the equipment you use, especially after and be mindful of those who want to use the machine after you, re-rack your Sh%t. I absolutely hate carrying 5 stacks of 45lbs because lazy bro's/gal's can't do it themselves but are ok adding it on, how does this make sense? read more

I am extremely disappointed with the management at this gym. The facility is often filthy, and when I called to get an update on my membership, I was met with incompetence, rude behavior, and completely unprofessional support. I asked to speak to the manager about three times before I was finally transferred. During this time, they kept repeating the same useless information while refusing to come to a resolution. The gym lacks essential machines, amenities, and a flexible schedule--they're not even open 24 hours. Despite these shortcomings, the membership costs remain outrageously high. When I called to downgrade my membership, I encountered the same terrible customer service. This gym needs serious attention from higher management to address these issues. The current state of affairs is unacceptable, and changes are desperately needed to improve the overall member experience. 24 Hour Fitness is looking mighty fine right about now... read more

We were directed to a lady name Natalie she was trying to answer our questions but struggle to talk in English, not to mention she was very rude rolling her eyes and giving us attitude. She made us feel uncomfortable and we just left never coming back and will never recommend La fitness to no one. They called Paulo at first to help, he walked in circles, then went to the bathroom, then finally passed us off to the lady who laughed at the situation don't really know what's funny about lacking at your job. I joined this club for the pool, sauna and studio which I am enjoying the studio to dance in. However the sauna is small and I feel uncomfortable sharing it with men. I hope the pool is actually clean when I do eventually use it. The jacuzzi/hot tub in the women locker room is incredibly small, only one or two people can fit at a time. The staff for the most part is kind when I interact with them. And the gym does get busy at certain hours, that's typical for any gym though. This location seems to have been doing "renovations" forever. They have a very old set up even the scale in the restrooms are old lol. A lot of the dumbbells are in poor condition. Also don't like how when I first signed up a couple months ago, one of the trainers lied and said they weren't giving me a sales pitch for personal training after 30+ min of making me listening to him talk and end it with "do you want to sign up for personal training?" I was annoyed, cause I had already expressed I wasn't interested from the start. This particular trainer was also invasive asking me about my financial status as if it's the reason I didn't want personal training services. I hope this location does better to improve because It has much more potential. read more

Over the years they've improved this gym. Way more cleaner than before and most people here are respectful. Sure you might run into some negative gym goers but that's life in general... They have plenty of stationary machines and free weights and the most of the workers are polite and attentive! They have a sauna and as well for aquatic exercises. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot. Accessible shower was broken. When I told the customer service they seem to know it was broken, but not cared to do anything to fix it. Paying a high price for a membership that does not meet good standards. It doesn't seem to be disability friendly you can go to planet fitness their showers work for the handicap showers and the customer service is way better. My problem is with the way the LA fitness clubs are ran in general now. Not this particular gym. I'm here now and I'm leaving without working out ! I've been here over a hour and only gotten one 1 machine. The gym let's people be on the machines for 30 + mins. And they just sitting talking. They let people leave their belonging on empty equipment to call dibs. And I told the gym staff they putting people in a bad position. If I move they stuff after I waited 15 mins. Then it will be a issue. Yet they say nothing and let these teenagers in groups literally do whatever they want. I told the staff if I'm waiting for a machine longer than I'm working out. Why am I here ? I'm calling corporate tomorrow to figure out what the rules of the gym actually are. Cus at this point I'm paying for nothing... If you're a woman, be careful going here alone. The gym has very loose safety policies and basically go hands off when other members threaten you. My wife has had multiple incidents with a member who makes racist comments. I spoke to the General Manager Yelba and she said she will monitor the situation. Which doesn't mean anything. 20 out of 10 HANDS DOWN LA FITNESS has really stepped up their game when it comes to personal training. I had the pleasure of speaking to Mr. Ryan for some advice on how I can work my legs without always feeling tightness in my groin due to an injury a few years back. His response to me was, "I got you girl, follow me." Ryan gave me a sick ass workout that included movements to help stretch and open up my hip flexors and had me do a few workouts to help improve my balance while also strengthening my core. These simple yet highly effective workouts had my legs shaking and my back dripping in sweat in minutes. He also took the time to not only show me a few stretches to do daily to target my hip flexors but, he also broke down my macros, and gave me a detailed diet plan based off of my weight height and body fat percentage. read more

I have had an amazing experience with this gym, the front desk people are always so nice helpful! Brought a friend as a guest and they loved it and joined the gym. She signed up her kids for kidsklub and they loved it, said the kidsklub staff are good with the kids, Which made me sign up my son. I'd recommend the zumba classes, the instructors are really good. I love coming to this gym! A lot of great amenities they offer here. I bring my kids to the daycare center and they love it! They always ask to come to this gym because they know the staff in the kidsklub. If my kids like it, then so do I! The staff here is also super friendly and make me feel welcomed every time. Bathrooms are so scary to go into all the equipment is not in order dumbbells are all over the gym it's ridiculous.
