This is a nice gym! Plenty of parking. Staff is friendly, they say hi when you walk in. This was previously LA fitness prior to getting bought off from EOS. Recently remodeled. Eos is lot better under new business management. State of the art equipment and new layout. I recommend this place. Has good energy. Everything you need to get in shape is here. Warning, if you have the VIP pass Black membership. To use the massage room, you have to enable your NFC to get inside the room. Having an Android phone does not work! I tried it many times. Its a no go for Android users. EOS needs to look into this and troubleshoot the root cause of system error. Overall, great gym for now. I hope the EOS staff keeps this gym clean preventing this place from getting destroyed. 2026.. New Gym .. read more

Pros: Great equipment selection; pendulum squat, bb lunge thing, low row, etc. this location is ran very well, i saw them disinfecting the turf its crazy that this isnt standard practice at gyms. Great recovery tools Cons: No squat bars!? The children YEARN for bars with middle knurling. sauna doesnt get hot, gym layout is very awkward (hawaiian gardens probably has the best gym layout), crazy long wait times, no leverage row Overall great gym, just expect loooong wait times. Compared to every other eos, this one has the longest wait times ive ever seen. read more

WORST GYM EXPERIENCE EVER. I joined this EōS specifically for an amazing group fitness instructor, who ironically quit shortly afterward. That probably should've been my first clue. I signed up for $1 down + monthly dues. Seven days later: surprise! $92.93 charged for an "annual membership fee" that was not clearly disclosed to me. The next morning, a trainer contacted me at 6:38 A.M. asking about my fitness goals. At 6:38 a.m., my only fitness goal is SLEEP. Have some professionalism and contact your clients during typical business hours. Then I tried to cancel. I selected "cancellation" and waited 24+ minutes with no answer. I called back, selected "upgrade membership," and miraculously, someone answered immediately. I was then told I had to cancel in person, despite California consumer-protection requirements governing gym and automatically renewing memberships. Afterward, I discovered EōS has thousands of BBB complaints company-wide, many involving billing and service issues. As for the general manager, Jesse Fain, he wasn't exactly a beacon of professionalism. Based on my experience, his management skills seem to get about as much exercise as EōS's cancellation line. He is definitely a reflection of his 2.5 star business. He exudes small d!ck energy, which is evidenced in his 5'3" 225lb appearance. My fitness recommendation? RUN, run as far away as possible. Stay as far away this shady place of business! read more

I had a very disappointing experience with the gym manager. I felt misled during the membership sales process, and the information I was given did not match what I was told after signing up. The manager was unhelpful when I raised my concerns and did not take responsibility for the confusion. The customer service was poor, and I left feeling like my concerns didn't matter. I would not recommend this gym to anyone looking for honest communication or a trustworthy membership process. I regret signing up and hope the management improves the way they treat customers and explains membership terms read more

The four stars is for the amazing front end staff and how much better the gym has been after it became EOS. But seriously, the company needs to do something about management, the only interaction I've had is with a big black girl on the weekends and her attitude sucks. Treat your guests and employees better. read more

As a two-year returning member of the EōS chain, I was initially excited about the opening of this location. While it is a smaller gym, the cleanliness of the floor and the equipment variety more than made up for the size. Unfortunately, my experience today completely changed my perspective due to an unacceptable interaction with front-desk staff member Leo. When I approached the front desk, I had my barcode ready to scan. Before I could even use it, and without looking up or offering a single word of explanation or greeting, Leo rudely snatched the scanner away from me. I stood there waiting for a basic professional explanation for his actions, and he offered none. I had to manually scramble to locate and use my alternate pass, while he remained completely dismissive. When I stared at him in disbelief, waiting for an acknowledgement of his bizarre behavior, he casually responded with a flippant, "You're good," brushing me off entirely. Once I was signed in, he simply placed the scanner back where it had been. The physical location of this gym has always been a downside, making it a last-resort option for me. However, given this level of blatant unprofessionalism and disrespect from the staff, I have decided I will not be returning, even as a last resort. I expect a baseline standard of courtesy and competence from EōS employees, which was entirely missing today. read more

Their pool is great for exercising, only downside is parking gets full if you come during busy times.

I was excited at first to try this new location in N. LB although it is clear across town from where I live. I was also not too excited about them not having any group fitness classes (perhaps the facility is too small). They do have two types of group training (BBL = Big Booty Lab & FU Endurance (circuit training) in two different class rooms. I took the FU Endurance training and I liked the concept (circuit training; however, the room was way too small and at times I felt like all the members were too close for comfort. I also showered here and the locker rooms were no different from when it was an LA Fitness/Esporta gym. I had no clue where the showers were as there was no signage. Parking was packed so I had to look for a spot and it was not very big. I definitely will not come back to this location again. I came in the morning on a Monday and it was packed so I can't even imagine what it would be like during peak times in the evening. read more

Tried this gym out because it's down the street from where I live. Parking is horrendous first of all you'll spend a good chunk of time looking for parking. I got a free trial pass and met with someone to tell me my options. I say no I want to try it out before making a commitment. Then in assuming a manager comes over and try's to big dog me into signing up yeah no that instantly was a sign for me I wouldn't be committing to them. It's was to crammed in there you're just about on top of everyone in there. Then you have people doing live streams with all their equipment in the way. Way better gym options around don't waste your time here. read more

The lights kept going out every 15 mins it was very very annoying like what's the point of turning them on and off ?? I hate coming here already because parking is always full and I was told by staff i had two options to come at 5am or at 10pm and since he was rude I said do you offer day care ? No so why suggest that ? Too many people recording and taking up space like move out the way . Go get your validation elsewhere ! read more

EōS Fitness - Lights out the fitting room ! - Gyms Near Me - Long Beach, California

This is the ONLY-- yes ONLY location that has BBL (booty lifting) and HIIT classes ( they call it FU- but ok) with their own secluded studio!! Yes to this I'm soooo fortunate to be able to do at least three (3) classes a week specifically on Tuesday and Thursday nights with Derrick. I also love the morning weekends classes with ALINA and BRIAN!!! Please EoS keep them AND their class... i tell you EoS you are a life saver with these classes...Ask PHAT Nguyen he knows read more

I guess it's OKAY. They have around 7 squat racks, and I don't think I've ever seen all of them taken at once. I personally prefer using the Smith machine for hip thrusts because I like the added stability. Unfortunately, they only have 3 Smith machines, and only one of them goes low enough for me to properly set up for hip thrusts. It can be frustrating when that particular one is being used while the other two are available but don't go low enough. To be fair, they do have several dedicated hip thrust options, although I've seen all of those taken at the same time too! There are 2 different hip thrust machines on the main floor, and inside the Booty Builder Lab (BBL), there is another hip thrust machine as well as a standing hip thrust machine. I didn't like the standing hip thrust at all, and personally, I still prefer the Smith machine over the dedicated hip thrust machines. They also only have one lying leg curl machine and one hyperextension machine, so those can be difficult to get at times too. I usually go between 5-6 a.m., and it can get pretty crowded, although it seems to start dying down around 7:30 a.m. Most of the time, if a machine I need is taken, I can move on to something else and come back to it. The Smith machine, lying leg curl, and hyperextension machine are the three I've actually had to wait for. Another thing I've noticed is that some members leave equipment or other items sitting around instead of putting them back. I haven't really seen staff going around picking those things up or reorganizing the equipment. That's something I appreciated at Planet Fitness, the staff would periodically walk around, put things back where they belonged, and basically clean up after people who didn't. Overall, they have a good variety of equipment, but I think there are some areas that could be improved, especially having more of the equipment that's consistently in demand and making sure all of the Smith machines have a lower setting. I would also like to see staff periodically walking the floor to keep the equipment organized. read more

Long Beach location on Downey street. The only reason they're getting 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the sauna. When they opened, they told us that they are getting a high quality sauna so I was convinced to sign up. Their sauna is probably the coldest sauna I've ever been with a tiny heater inside. You can hardly break any sweat even if you stay for an hour. Many people complained but they have not done anything yet. Otherwise, this gym is great. Equipment is brand new. It's been cleaned properly. Equipment is being fixed quickly. For a little extra fee, you can also have access to massage chairs. Pool is very nice. Parking gets packed at peak hours but street parking is also available. Staff is helpful. Crowd is on the younger side. Overall, everything is great except Sauna. read more

I used to go here when it was Esporta, they have made major improvements since then. Love to see it.

Great staff, great environment to work out at, machines are very clean and the location is a 10/10 overall.

Great experience, friendly staff, clean facilities, awesome work out equipment. Helpful on helping my friends sign up with no complaints.

Clean and great location and friendly staff!! Definitely recommend and don't regret choosing this location over the others!

Great gym for recovery! Join and recover in a relaxing space. The parking lot is great, too.

I have OnePass, basically what that means is that I have a choice of many gyms. I chose EōS because of the free weights selection and always a treadmill available , parking is not the best but i can see why people come here. read more

The staff is great and they have lots of great equipment. The trainers are great too! Overall great facility!

So I've been trying to get ahold of someone that can help me with my barcode to get into the will power rooms and yea, they all lied. No one reached out to me cuz they legit don't give a fuck and I don't think they care. TLDR I was a golds gym member and I guess when they crossed to EOS my info got stuck in a limbo. My check in works but when you look at my will power barcode it's still under golds gym, hence the will power room not authorizing me in. Idk, I'm honestly over expecting EOS to do anything. So yea, EOS sucks for that. It's crazy how managers, corporate or even district managers don't wanna talk to me one even told me to just start a new contract. Start a new contract for a problem that's not my fault? lol no. read more

Do not walk through these doors. Absolutely horrible experience through every aspect. Unprofessional "sales managers" not trainers, the do not inform you of an annual fee, was contacted at 6:36 AM by a lead trainer to discuss "fitness goals" Enrolled August 3, cancelling today eventually, 1 am currently on hold for over 27 minutes trying to cancel this membership. read more

Horrible gym. When i made my membership, they said i was over the weight limit and said jokes about me. Like hello? It was one of them curly hair guys. And when I began working out they looked at me weird and made fun of me! Bad gym!!! read more

I had signed up to get the coaching but certain changes in my job and timing made it a bit challenging so I had to cancel. It was a huge problem with EOS to get it to cancel. Upon canceling it I was told I would receive my $68.00 refund. It's been three months and they haven't given me anything back. Their customer service is very poor. The front desk people are nice and friendly. Gym is kept clean. The other issue is dimming the lights and when they turn on it's in one shot causing eye to adjust very rapidly. It's very annoying. read more

30-40 min wait for a tour? Absurd. 1 person who does the tours and 4 front desk people. Energy just felt off even entering.

You would think someone is capable of being a manager at a gym because they have the ability to interact and speak to customers with care. Not here it felt like speaking to a brick wall, the manager was straight up disrespectful and did not care. Overall the gym and the staff are very nice but the manager certainly feels out of place read more

Terrible experience with the person enrolling someone I know and I have witnessed the interaction first hand since I was with them. The person enrolling that member was very unprofessional and made 3 PERSONAL phone calls on his phone while he was enrolling that member and in addition to that was repeatedly side tracked by having small talk with his coworkers while we waited for him to take the initiative for the next step in the process of the enrollment. Honestly I was about to overlook both of those behaviors until he pressured that member to get a personal training session when that person said he was not able to do it but continued to schedule that member anyway. The employee continued to push for the personal training session in a way that felt passive-aggressive, even after the member had already said they were unable to do it, and he ultimately scheduled the session anyway. That made me livid and that member told me that they were upset about how he was pressured into having that personal training session when he didn't want it. read more
