Beautiful place in the middle of Gothic quarter. Offering a large choice of delicious empanadas. Freshly made, served hot. In contrast to our US empanadas, these are different and I like my US empanadas more.
Haven't had a good empanada since I left Buenos Aires. These are fantastic. There are many choices as well as options for vegetarian and gluten-free. I especially like the spicy meat or carne picante.

I really liked the food and the guy was friendly and nice. He really did a customer service. The food is really good and there is a big variety of stuffing so everyone can find their thing. I really loved the place and I think the different stuffing makes it possible for people who vegan, vegetarian or pescatarian to eat something on the go. It is really hard to find sometimes to eat if you have special dietary. The only thing what I would change is there is no available seats and after a long walk it would feel good to have a little rest
3.5* More emapandas! Not expensive either. I ordered the spicy tuna with egg, the regular tuna with egg and the cheese emapanda. It was more dry than other empanadas I've had but it was a cheap snack and there are a lot of cool options. The dough was a little too much compared to the filling. Staff was friendly!
Went here around 5:30 pm with a friend and the place was empty but all the empanadas looked great. I tried to order the Thai empanada but the guy said they were all out of it so I got 3 he recommended which was the spinach, caprese and spicy chorizo. My fav was the spicy chorizo but all 3 of my empanadas were hardly heated all the way through. They ask you if youd like them warmed up but when I started to eat them they were just slightly warmed up. Wish they heated them throughly through. Otherwise the place was good but not the best epanadaa I've ever had. A little over hyped with all the reviews.
Good empanadas at a good price! It's a great way to grab a quick bite of something hot. We tried the beef, mushroom and eggplant flavors and all tastes good. Not the best empanadas I've ever had (believe it or not, the best I've had was in San Francisco!) but decent, nonetheless. Very cute shop and friendly shopkeepers.
Im so impressed with the variety & designs of crusts. What a great place to get some snacks today take to Park Gruell. This is a perfect snack to have and the crust was so thin & crispy. I had the Thai Chicken Curry and it was zesty. Loved it ! Kids had the jamon y queso & ate it in the taxi. Grab a bunch and eat them on the run. Modern empanadas with friendly service ! I will return.
For a quick bite this was great. The prices were pretty reasonable at €5 for 2 enchiladas and a drink. The assorted options was great and they were all packed with a lot of meats and flavours. There are even veggie offerings. There are not chairs and a small bar to stand at if you intend to eat it there or you can get it as take away.
Stumbled upon this place on the way to the beach, and I loved the empanada's so much that I went to seek out one of their other locations in Gothic Quarter later that day. The shop is tiny but there is a lot of variety of empanadas. My favorite was the spicy chicken. The dough is DELICIOUS! I love that they weren't oily yet had a lot of flavor. I was also impressed by the ambience itself - everything is clean. This will definitely be one of my first stops on my next trip to Barcelona.
Excellent! Stopped in on our way back from the beach. Had a Thai chicken and a traditional beef with raisins. Both were delicious and we talked about returning a day later for more even though we were not staying anywhere close by. Price was fair at about 2.50 each.
I was drawn into this establishment by the wonderful aroma of fresh dough being baked into heavenly empanadas. Barcelona has a lot of places to satisfy the palate but... La Fabrica is definitely the go to spot in the Gothic Quarter!!!!! The dough is made fresh and the selections of ingredients to fill the empanadas is great!!!! I bought one to try and before I walked away I bought 12 more and had them packaged for me to take back to the USA the next day. This is a must-do while site seeing and is perfect walk-around food to enjoy. I highly recommend and most definitely will return here next year!!!!
The cleanest, cutest little empanada shop we came across and there is many out here in Barcelona. Located in gothic quarter, across from the Starbucks just after the grand post office building. I spotted it when we went to grab Starbucks (needed something familiar for a second haha) Went in and had to try some next time I'll probably do there special and get a whole box for 30euro. The empanadas heated up were hot, flaky outer, and a moist, full body flavor seasoned filling of your choice. They had about a dozen types of fillings available. We got: Chicken picante Maiz Jamon y queso Chorizo It was all delicious and moist! None of ours were dry inside. Definitely would get that box deal for a dozen ! read more
I'm glad we stopped by La Fabrica in the Gothic Quarter for some Argentinian empanadas! They were 3.25€ each when we went & if you get 6, it is 18€. We tried the chicken picante, maiz, and jamon y queso. They were delicious & actually pretty spicy! Very flavorful & easy to eat. Definitely made for a great snack while exploring the neighborhood. read more

Unfortunately, it looks better than it tastes. The flavor for the 2 Empanadas we tried were OK. They weren't misrepresented or anything - the stuffing was just as described. The problem is the seasoning wasn't very good. Overall I give the food 3 Stars and the concept/pricing 5 stars. Service was good. read more
We saw these on one of our first few days in Spain, but we didn't stop. Tonight, I had a real craving for one and none of the others in town looked as good. I couldn't remember where we saw them, but we got lucky and came across it. Didn't disappoint. They had a deal we weren't aware of, but the cashier let us know. I may have to have another before going back to America. The pollo Thai was my absolute fave. read more
Plenty of empanada options to choose from. Not to pricy for the location. Tried the mushroom empanada. It was pretty good. The ratio of bread to filling was appropriate. I wish I would have tried more, but we just happened upon it while waiting to get into the Picasso museum. read more

YUM! Would totally recommend, these make a great meal or snack!! They have vegetarian friendly options as well. Very flavorful and reasonably priced! Was near our AirBnB so we just walked over to get one as a snack whenever necessary! read more

Our first day in Barcelona we walked down to the beach and happened upon this adorable empanada shop and I'm so happy we went inside. They have over 15 different kinds of empanadas and they are all delicious! They are like 1,95 euro/piece and they have deals like 2 empanadas and a drink for 5 euro (or whatever it was). Highly recommend stopping here for a quick lunch or snack if you're in Barcelona. read more

Pretty decent Empanada joint. Only a few seats. €5 deal for 3 and a drink. They are pretty airy empanadas and could use more stuffing. Also I've had Chilean empanadas that come with a sauce but only tabasco bottles here. Good variety of meat and veggie options. But they only had 7-8 choices versus the dozens on the board. read more

Okay Argentinian empanadas. We had a ham and cheese, a spinach and a tomato with mixed veggies. They weren't bad but not that great. read more
