My family and I were looking for a Halal restaurant for dinner and we came across La Estacion. Located in Brentwood, the restaurant is very large with a lot of indoor seating and outdoor space that also includes a kid's playground. We tried various dishes from the menu. From the Chicken Makhni, Chicken Achari, Beef Nihari, Chana Masala all had very good Pakistani flavor. I thought the Chicken Makni was a little sweet for me. Their Pani Puri station is nice. We happened upon a graduation party due to which management offered an all you can eat buffet on a Friday, usually it's only on weekends I was told. A lot of food options were available. From the fresh grill selection of proteins like chicken tikka, kababs to the quesadilla & bun kababs it was all very flavorful. I loved the tikka boti. Their green chutney is phenomenal. Gol gappa were amazing as well. Fish fry with sesame seeds was so tender & flavorful. Plenty of options for dessert too. They had Tres Leches, kheer, fruit trifle, chaat & other offerings as well. The staff here is some friendly & caring. The buffet was set to start at 6 but the kind gentleman working there allowed us to begin half an hour before, we really appreciated that. All the food is cooked fresh. Inside is clean & spacious. Plenty of seating area inside & out. Parking lot to park your car in in the back with plenty of spots. The only thing this restaurant concentrated was on is to create a vibe. Food is terrible, servers are unhappy and annoyed. Chai is old, charging auto 15% gratuity into your bill which you pay before you even sit down to eat for a buffet is appalling. Why should anyone be giving auto tip, tip by nature is based on good service. Overall, if it's just to enjoy the music and outdoors, it's fine, however good food taste is missing. I hosted a large-scale event at Brentwood Library and called La Estacion 2 days before the event. The owner was wonderful, and suggested a menu that accommodated all of the different dietary needs of our attendees. The food was fantastic! I have never heard so many positive comments about the catering at one of my events. The staff delivered, setup and brought serving tools, utencils, plates, napkins and everything we needed for a successful meal. The Dulce de Leche cake for dessert was delicious! Food is good however I found them to be scammy as I got no service since its buffet but I was charged a service charge of 15% without my knowledge. How do you charge a service fee at self serve buffet when I did not get served even a glass of water by anyone. Stop the scammy attitude and do better. Beware people you may get charged service fee for a buffet where you wont be served a thing.Always check with them, wish I knew at the time they sneaked in the charge, I'd have made them remove it. read more

They've got a LOT going on with their menu. However, as a result, they have, as I mentioned, something for every palate for sure. Recently, I took my recently turned teen twins here, and was very pleasantly surprised. We ordered some juices to start, and every single one of them was fresh squeezed. That includes apple juice, which blew my son away, since he's super picky. My daughter got a mango juice, and I got peach juice. What a great way to start a meal for sure. So the menu is diverse, You can get a plain cheeseburger, which is what my picky son ordered. You can get some Peruvian food staples here too, like Lomo Saltado, which I ordered. My daughter went straight up Mexican style and ordered some tacos. The fact that they have Halal food and Pakistani food available is awesome, because variety is definitely the spice of life. They are very generous with the amount of food as well. I wanted to try other things on their extensive menu, but was too full. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and started talking about how we can't wait to come back here. They got a massive outdoor seating area, with dining bubbles if you wish, there's other open area tables, and they've even got bounce houses for the kids. Inside, its very well appointed and comfortable. When was the last time you went somewhere where they had posters of people playing Cricket? The service we received was friendly, fast, and efficient. So they deleted my comment on Instagram page. Well, shameful. As a business you should be ablet to take critique and have the decency to care about customer service. Not even worth 1 star. Went there for the advertised Eid dinner buffet. Advertised dishes not there, food was gross and stale. They were out of several items by 9pm, though ad said it would be till 12am. Rude service upon asking. Waited 1 hour for a cup of chai, that too was told it was a special effort for just us. And only allowed 1 cup. The manager on site was also seen rudely dismissing another long time customer and said he didn't care for a bad review because their business is so good anyway. Very arrogant and dont worry the word will spread fast. I cant believe recommended this crap hole of a place. Disgusted and what a complete waste of money. Avoid it. This place is the real deal. The service is amazing and the food is just out of this world. Not only that, but the outdoor seating is so adorable. The owner himself even stopped by our table (well igloo) to ask if everything was okay :). As an avid Nihari-lover myself, you just can't go wrong here! I went there and they only had the buffet available, so we tried that. It was really loud and busy while we were there, which can't really be helped, but it did affect the ambience. The place itself is okay, not the cleanest but not appalling either. There is a decent variety of food/drinks/sweets available, and new items come out occasionally. I think the shrimp Alfredo was a little oily but it tasted good, the barbecue chicken tenders were alright, I found the roast chicken a little dry, the nihari wasn't bad but slightly plain. There were a good amount of other items that I can't remember but didn't really leave an impression. I did enjoy the tea though. There was a lot of food from different cuisines, which seems weird, but they weren't bad. Overall, it was a buffet, so it's hard to expect the food to be amazing. It ended up being around 30-something per person, which isn't the worst for a buffet. Personally, I didn't find it worth, since there weren't enough items that I enjoyed. The sauces were unbelievably good, especially the green sauce that comes with either the empanadas or the papusa. I tried their rotisserie chicken, beef empanadas, chicken papusa, and beans with cheese papusa. Every single one of these items were something you should try at least once. The rotisserie chicken comes with a garlic dipping sauce that is light and perfectly made with a hint of garlic and goes really really well with the chicken. I took my family of 10 out plus 3 kids, a 3,5 and 7 years old. I was told by many people this place is really good. I loved the space they have outside and inside. Since it's Ramadan they had buffet. They had 3 or 4 chicken dishes, a biryani tray, nihari and sweets. How are they charging $25 person? There is a global buffet near my house and they have over 100 items and they charge $18. I am sorry to say it's a rip off. They also added 15% gratuity and also asked if I wanted to add another 15,18 or 20%. Some nuts these guys have. read more
