Before I bought my 2025 Tucson, I knew ahead of time that I'd want a dash cam. I researched what camera I wanted (Viofo A229 Plus) but couldn't find anybody around me that seemed like they installed dash cams, or at least well. Finding LA Dash Cams was reassuring. The install took approximately an hour, keeping in mind that my setup contains a front and rear cam. I also bought from LADC a hardwire cable setup so that they're enabled for parking mode. Great decision! After the install, Kevin sat with me and helped me run through the app and a basic 101 of the physical camera itself. Super simple and easy process overall, and worth the cost to have somebody knowledgeable install rather than giving it a go for myself. read more

I had a Viofo A329 dashcam installed by a different shop in February. After a few months, I went to start my car, and the battery was dead. I thought that was weird, because my battery is fairly new, and I wasn't even using the camera's parking mode. Instead of going back to the same shop, I decided to contact LA Dash Cams and ask if they could take a look at the installation to check if anything was done wrong. He also takes the time to walk you through the camera, how to set up, change modes and he walked me through the app. Since I am technically challenged, he took a little more time w me. I like the fact he takes his time to explain the products and differences between them so you can make an educated decision on your needs! I am extremely happy i went with LA Dash Cams for a dash cam installation. The job was a little more involved: installation of a Thinkware U3000 Pro 2-Channel with hardwired iVolt Xtra external battery into a Cayman 718, which ended up being a bit of a challenge due to the car's rear hatch layout. Kevin did a fantastic job placing the cameras and battery, fully hiding all cables including those to the fuse box. Both cameras are placed perfectly, with the front one hidden from the driver's view behind the rearview mirror, and the rear camera top center and essentially unnoticeable in the mirror. Kevin is great to work with - quick to respond to inquiries, courteous, fast and clean installation. Plus, "The Price Was Right": great value-for-money for this installation. Contacted Kevin at LA Dash Cams about installing a dash cam in my EV. Kevin offered to call me back. When he called, he answered all my questions including the possibility of switching my old rearview mirror for the one I had bought. He offered to do it since it was just a plug in and no programming required. We went to the scheduled morning appointment. I was able to purchase the dash cam I wanted directly from him and happy to have my new rear view mirror! Oh and after the install, Kevin took his time making sure I understood how the cam worked and that the app in my phone was connected to it and working. I am completely satisfied with his work.
