We're tourists from out of town, needed a place to eat later at night than we normally eat, but earlier than the locals usually eat, and quick enough for kids to not fall asleep at the table, near to our rental apartment and food that they would eat. Also, not crowded, hot (100 degrees out today!) and nosy. Dalia fit the bill nicely. I would go back again gladly.
We were the first customers in at 9:00pm. Service was prompt and welcoming. Menus available in different languages. Waitress spoke some English.
Food was very good. Started with olives and bread. Kids were able to find enough food that they liked to survive another meal happily, and adults were able to eat new-to-us food that we enjoyed. Place began to fill toward 10:30pm. We identified that we don't love carpaccio (but ate it all anyway, good quality), and we loved the cheese plate. I liked the venison stew, and the kids ate all of their mini-hamburgers. The dessert was lovely (torcello? di cielo).
I would recommend this pace, albeit point out that it's not riotous, local-filled, smoky, loud. It's calm, quiet, cool, uncrowded, good food. read more
