My favorite are the dark chocolates, but I also enjoy their milk chocolate because it is not too sweet. Each piece is small, and I find that having one or two in the evening is enough to satisfy my craving. A box lasts several weeks as I savor them slowly. The store is fairly spacious, and they have a large display right at the front of their signature cookies. They have numerous varieties, so grab a plastic glove and put your selections into a bag. If you get 900 grams of cookies you will get a tin included. They have a large variety of cookies from basic chocolate to fig or apple-filled. These are different from American cookies and have a crumbly consistency like shortbread and a mild, less-sweet flavor. They are delicate and delicious! The filled cookies have a light fruity filling which is just perfect. They have a large variety of other items too including madelines and candies and gift items. The staff spoke great English and were very friendly and happy to help. They offered to ring us up as three separate transactions so we would qualify for three of the promotional discount madeline tins they were offering. Much appreciated!
