My mom brought me here for my bday. The place is very small. We ordered a cocktail de camarón, oysters, aguachiles, tostada de ceviche, camarón and jaiba, michelada. The michelada was ok, the aguachile wasn't spicy at all but it was alright. The tacos de gobernador were actually pretty good!! My mom ordered a tostadas de ceviche crudo and oh my it was delicious!! Ok I've got a bit of a mixed review... I'll start with the good. The flavors were spot on. I had the cooked shrimp ceviche and it was very good. Tender jumbo shrimp, tasted fresh and was marinated nicely. I usually have to add all this salt but this one was done perfectly that I didn't need to. Came with plenty of tasty tostadas and even some crackers which was nice. Limes, hot sauce included as well. Now the bad... for some reason they "did not have tacos today" so I couldn't order any. Bummer. The music was super loud. I get it, it's a mariachi party vibe in there but I could barely hear the server and she had to yell over the music. Not a big deal... but what is a big deal for a seafood place is not deveining the shrimp. I had way too many pieces with tons of crap in there and that's sucks. The shrimp is big too so it's not hard to devein (tedious I know, but easier with big shrimp). I'm sure it is a lot of work with how much shrimp they have to go through for their menu but still shrimp with sh!t in it is pretty gross. That said, food was so bomb I'm not even mad about it. I just deveined them and ate it anyway lol. Also, would have been nice to have just a bit more avocado too. 8/10 would go again. read more

This is the best place in Riverside for Mariscos!!! It is always very busy!! I ordered ahead for take out last time and was frustrated with the service though. I called my order in 30 mi it's before arriving. They told me o. The phone it would take 30 minutes to prepare. Perfect! But when I got there and paid I ended up waiting another 20 minutes for my order. When I finally asked the register lady who was handing out to go orders of mine was ready yet, she said, "let me see", she looked in the refrigerator to the immediate right of the register and pulled my order out. When I asked her if it had been there the whole time, she said, "I don't know". It was there the whole time In the 20 minutes I waited, no one put anything in that fridge as I stood there and watched everything going on behind the counter while I waited.
