On day trips we wait I til we get "home to Verona" to have gelato. I fell in love with the Amarena cherry with Grappa Amarone wine on top and my husband the liquirizo with cherry on top. Both heavenly flovour combinations. And the Grappa Amarone flavored I've yet to see anywhere else.

I noticed they had a crepe machine in the front, so decided to give it a whirl, and I'm so glad I did. They make their version of nutella in-house, and it's some of the best I've ever had--so much that I had to buy some to take home with us. The crepe was made-to-order, and it was delivered to me piping hot and bursting from the seams with nutella. My husband ordered an ice cream sandwich that was dipped in nutella on one side and covered in nuts. They also served gelato among so many other tasty treats, think: a variety of chocolates.
