Brought my wife here on a date one summer night. Cocktails were amazing! Chips and dip were on fire! So good! We just went for drinks but they had a lot of interesting foods that we will have to come back and try. The margarita flight was amazing! I really wanted to try the guava margarita but didn't wanna get too drunk. So good! We will def be back!

Trio de Ceviche - Three ceviche portions with diced seafood, vegetables, and avocado slices are arranged on a rectangular white plate, garnished with sauce and a lime wedge.

Everything from the food to the drinks were amazing! The only thing I didn't like was that their menu didn't have descriptions for their drinks so I had to ask the server what each drink had in it. Our server was super nice and checked on us often. For drinks, I had the pina drink that had the chamoy rim with a lollipop and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. Other drinks that was good was the margarita, coco loco and michalada. The food was so good and fresh! For starters they gave us chips and 2 types of salsa (one was super spicy - beware) and then we ordered the ceviche trio! For dinner I got the shrimp plate with the garlic sauce and it was so flavorful and the rice on the side was delicious!! Other dishes that was good was the burrito and enchiladas. 10/10 would recommend and will be back!!

they have a great side dish that could also be an entree, Treo de Ceviche with a mix of fresh shrimp fish and diced vegetables with special sauce, and abc assortment of phenomenal foods, my favorite is shrimp fajitas.

Cocktail menu - The menu lists a variety of cocktails and chelas, including Michelada, Paloma Azul, House Margaritas, and beers like Corona and Heineken.

We were in town on a very cold March evening, and needed to find somewhere to have dinner and La Costa Bora popped up on our Yelp search and was only 0.2 miles away! We found parking without trouble and were able to get a table for our group of 5 without a wait. Service was fast and friendly and the complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and tasty! I had a Beso del Diablo cocktail, and it was good; I thought it would have a spicy kick, but I think the spice is just in the jalapeño slices on the top. I had the shrimp enchiladas as my entree and they were very good. The shrimp were tender and flavorful and the green salsa was mild but flavorful. The ceviches looked excellent, and if I find myself back this way, I'd definitely want to try those too!

We've been wanting to try this place for a while and it didn't disappoint! The seafood is fresh, the service is fast and friendly, flavorful and colorful drinks and clean atmosphere. I only have the shrimp ceviche pictured because we literally tore into our main courses the minute they came. Trust me get the ceviche, it is equal parts, flavorful, fresh, refreshing and hands down some of the best I've had EVER. I ordered a spicy fruity cocktail and my boyfriend a classic margarita. Trust me, they are made with real ingredients, none of that fake, sugary, concentrated premix. Very impressed and good amount of alcohol. We ordered a steak and shrimp burrito and both were made with quality ingredients, very authentic and fairly priced. We will 1000% be back and bringing friends!

Chelada flight. Blueberry was my fave, then mango and then the OG. Finished them all. - Four fruit-flavored drinks with salted rims and lime garnish are arranged on a wooden tray, labeled as a chelada flight.

Sooo psyched to have a place with amazing ceviche near me. As soon as the plate was put in front of me I called my parents. Ceviche is one of my dad's all time favorite things. And alll of their seafood was surprisingly good. I felt the salty spray of waves and the seagulls call as I sipped my cheladas and gorged on ceciche and caldo de mariscos. Felt like being on vacation in the middle of Illinois. I can't wait to go back!

Really surprised by how this place blew my expectations! The ceviche trio makes a great appetizer for the whole table! We could have easily had a couple of these and been satisfied! I ordered tacos: shrimp, fish, and carne asada. I only got around to trying the shrimp and carne asada because I got too full but it was all delicious!!! For drinks, I tried the coco loco (pina colada) and the michelada (your choice of beer). Both were tasty! My sister ordered the shrimp plate and that's what I'll be getting next time because the shrimp was so flavorful! I already can't wait to come back for a visit to La Costa Bora!

We are so happy to finally have a good seafood restaurant in our lovely small city. The Trio ceviche is delicious. It's absolutely recommended. They sell these fruity micheladas (beer drinks) that are super delicious; mango, blueberry, and strawberry. I've tried all three drinks and all are very flavorful. The staff is also very nice and friendly.

Hands down the best shrimp quesadilla i've ever had. Definitely going to become a regular of this place. The shrimp tacos were pilled high with shrimp and cooked to perfection. Margarita was balanced well, not to sweet, just perfect.

My family and I stopped by during the weekend. We had the aguachiles and caldo siete mares--both were delicious. The seafood was fresh and seasoned quite well. The drinks were also delicious. We tried a few different ones, but our favorite ones were "Don Pepino" and "El Vampiro". Other notes: the staff was friendly and attentive, service was quick, and the restaurant is clean. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely recommend.

So attentive, constantly checking in without being overbearing, and giving tons of great drink suggestions. You can tell they actually know their stuff. They have such a huge selection -- so many beers, seltzers, and different drinks to choose from. If you're not sure what to get, they're happy to let you sample and help you find something you'll love. That alone makes the experience feel elevated. I also love that they have board games available, and it's just that kind of place where you can hang out for hours. We even brought our own board games, ordered pizza, and had the best night ever! It's the perfect spot for a laid-back night -- no pressure, no crazy crowds, just good drinks and great company. After going, it totally makes sense why their reviews are so strong. Has pretty good prices even on crafts. You can find pretty interesting beers among these. Easy to be fooled by the outside because it looks like a typical store full of beer. It has a major difference and that is you can try these before you buy it. They offer samples of any of the beers on tap. It feels more like a store than a bar. The atmosphere isn't that exciting but it's nice to be able to concentrate on the actual beer instead of what's going on around you. It's about $6 a pint and they offer lots of discounts. They have local breweries including Revolution and lots more. Good stuff to drink and look at. It doesn't have much room inside so it's not good for big groups. The prices are good on most things.

Louie's Tap House is one of the few good hangouts in town. Has tons of local beers. The food menu has burgers and stuff at pretty good prices. A lot of people really come here just to get drunk. It's no wonder because there's a massive beer list. This is shown on a TV and goes through a few screens. A lot of local beers. It's about $8 for some of these. Among these is the Generations Pretzel City. There's tons of food though. It's $12 for the Louie Burger. Make it with a Beyond Burger patty for a couple bucks more. The food isn't really as bad as some people say. One thing sucks to be honest. The service. It was slow getting a small order of a Beyond Burger. This isn't even like it's a real one that gets cooked much. After that it was slow to get the check. The waiting was too long so we left money, though we didn't have enough for a tip. Good food, but it can take a long time, so keep it basic. It has tons of beers, which go great with burgers, or something. There's even burger options for vegans and vegetarians.

We called ahead to let them know that 5 adults and two children were coming in for a birthday. We asked to be placed in the back room. They said they didn't take reservations, but the bar tender would be told we were coming and they could accommodate us. We arrived at 11:30 and were told we could seat ourselves in the back room and from that point on we were basically on our own. The bar tender appeared to be the only wait staff. So we went to the bar to order our drinks and then we went back to the bar with our food order. I am in no way blaming the bartender. She was on her own. There were people at the bar that she needed to take care of. However, we ended up getting our own silverware, straws...etc. once the food showed up. But a short time later people started coming into the back room and setting up for a party. And shortly after that we were asked to leave the back area. Our 8 year old birthday boy had not opened his gifts so we hauled the gifts to the bar area where he opened them. This "event" which we'd hoped to make special, was a bit of a disaster. Had I been the person writing our bill I would have deducted 25% and apologized. That did not occur. Full bill. No apology. We won't be returning.
