Once the class started, I had to step away from my own painting to help guide them through the first few steps, which felt a bit off. The instructor moved through the class a bit too quickly at times, and I found myself trying to catch up. As someone who doesn't paint, I would've preferred a slower pace. Wine is not included, but they do offer a selection for purchase. Overall, it was a nice experience, but could be more enjoyable with a more relaxed pace and clearer accommodation for late arrivals.

Experience: My friend and I were going through a lot in 2025 and I thought a paint night for us would be a great solution to pick up our spirits, little did I know choosing Pinos Palette was a terrible decision... When I arrived, the instructor and everyone there seems super sweet and it seemed like it was gonna be a fantastic night. Unfortunately, my friend (who also suffers from anxiety) was rushing through traffic to make the tough call time in Pasadena. She arrived just as the class was starting, and we were excited to get together and start painting, unfortunately in her rush, she forgot her drivers license. The door person to check people in pressured her to find her ID, which she couldn't, we asked if we could just paint we weren't even planning on drinking that night, but the guy refused and instead gave us a little slip of paper telling us to text this number and ask for a reschedule. I knew at the time that we should've just painted because it was gonna be near impossible to go back and find another time during the week, As again it's Pasadena in traffic is insane. Why is it a 7 PM class? But I shook it off and texted for a reschedule for my friend, but again she suffers for anxiety and has spontaneous fits that make it hard for her at times. And unfortunately, she had anxiety attack right before our reschedule time so we were a few minutes late and saw them painting inside. We didn't want to disturb the class so I texted the owner again to please reschedule, And what does he do? He texts back with a stern "this is your last chance". You're the business owner and that's your attitude? How about a refund upfront because such energy is dark and a pain to deal with- When I'm going through all this just to try and make my friend happy. So we missed our chance because they don't offer refunds, but you know what good! Because after that text and the owner's attitude, screw going to this place. Everyone's going through a lot and you're gonna treat people like this?

She was thoughtful and showed up early so we could use the kitchen and bar area to set up our appetizers and drinks. She set up the art stations while we drank and ate. Later she lead the class while also taking candid photos of our group. She took her time explaining the process and checking in to make sure we were all following along. Aja was fun and entertaining. She took various groups shots always paying great attention to detail. This was a wonderful experience and I would absolutely book again. We were the only party at the time, she laid out all the art to choose from. The space was clean and large enough to accommodate my 10 group and plenty of space to walk around. There were couches and kitchen area with a small refrigerator. Overall the space was a 10. Experience a 10. And instruction a 10.

Once we saw her in person, we instantly remembered her. The space where she hosted was spacious, clean and large enough to accommodate a larger crowd if needed. We were a group of four. She was able to help both boys complete their artwork and give the moms extra time to finish. We felt bad taking longer than the kids and Aja did not rush us. She has such a calm demeanor and so much patience with kid and adults. I would highly recommend her. Her love of art and experience with kids is so amazing!

Elegant and Swanky Paint Party!!!…read more Such an original type of party for friends. Put together about 12 of us for a Paint the Grapes party. I along with all my guests were extremely impressed with the setup. Very personal and private. Included in our ticket were excellent appetizers / finger foods, wine & beer. Relaxing music provided, but were reminded that we could request any music. Everyone chose their own painting creation. Honestly, our men were not overly excited about the date-night scheduled for them. Surprisingly they all had the most fun and put so much time in their painting. We all look forward to attending another party. I would recommend an event for anyone planning a shower, fundraiser, or just a night out with friends that's a little different.
