This is the first restaurant that makes me want to give more than 5 stars. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. The hostess was friendly and communicative, and our waitress was delightful. The food was amazing, we got the Chilaquiles Miss Condesa and it was phenomenal. Perfect chilaquiles, delicious beans, and the sweet tamale is a must try. The star of the show for me was the Chilaquiles Cremosos. It was a 10/10. The sauce was delicious and perfectly spiced. The chicken grilled nicely, and, like on all their chilaquiles, not soggy. I haven't left the restaurant and I'm already texting people to come asap. read more

It's about time we had an awesome brunch place come to the area. This place has a pretty and fun vibe. We weren't able to get a reservation in last minute but we did get a seat at the small bar. Came in on a Sunday for brunch, about an hour wait, which is reasonable. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, however, the tables are very close to each other, which makes it a bit uncomfortable. Music is loud...doesn't match the restaurant decorations. After seated, the waitress came and takes order. The drinks and foods came out quickly, so no complaints there. However, after we got our foods, the waitress disappeared...did not check on us once! We have to asked other servers for our check, and still have to wait for another 15 minutes...until our waitress finally show up. Keep in mind it's around 2 PM at this point and the restaurant is not busy. Included tips, we paid a little over $80 for 2 dishes, a horchata, and a soda. Now let's talk about the food! We got the pancakes tower and rib eye omelette. Unfortunately, very mediocre, nothing standout. What surprise to me is that horchata tastes like regular milk. Food: 2 star Service: 1 star Ambiance: 3 star If the food is actually good, then I would come back and give it another try. One of my favorite go to brunch spots! The food is always phenomenal and consistent despite the restaurant always being busy! The decor and atmosphere is always beautiful. I really appreciate their extra attention to detail that most other restaurants do not put the time and effort into anymore. Every table gets intricate glass water cups and their own water decanter, high end vase with fresh flowers, and linen napkins typically only seen at fine dining establishments. The head hostess, Anna was so sweet and accommodating. She ensured my husband, toddler and I were comfortable with our seats as there was a very large party right by us. I always enjoy my dining experience here, that being said I always anticipate a wait time, it being busy, and seating accommodations a little on the tighter side. Truly a mark of a great restaurant. Overall cute little spot! Tucked away, if you don't make the correct right hand turn you'd have to drive a bit to get back around. The service was a little lacking. We had to ask multiple times for glasses for water. When we ordered our food we had asked for extra plates, and they didn't bring to us, so we had to get up to go find the waitress to get plates. The food came out pretty quick! And was delish! We had the Birria chilaquiles and Abrazo de leche pancakes both were big portions and delish! Definitely recommend. I had originally ordered the cafe de olla, first sip was great, but it gets over powering with the spices and sweetness. I had asked to change to just a latte with added vanilla, it was creamy but not sweet, i added one sugar packet and made it better. The bathroom is tucked away around the corner, signs were a little off, but the bathroom was really cute and clean. I got brunch for lunch Tuesday with a friend to catch up. We love trying to places. I browsed and found this one that just opened days earlier. I heard mixed reviews about their opening day but I LOVED the experience. First of all, the space is beautiful when you walk in. It looks and feels like an elevated experience. It was very peaceful. I don't know what a weekend is like, but Tuesday late morning was the best. There were only two other tables seated. I saw they have a nice patio outside to enjoy the good weather too. The booth was pretty and comfortable. I ordered the cafe de olla to drink. It was hot, sweet, and delicious. We like sharing to try a variety and so we ordered the I want it all chilaquiles with red sauce and birria that also came with refried beans, eggs, corn tamal, and french toast. It was the perfect amount for the two of us. So delicious and flavorful. We also got a pastry basket to try. The concha was my favorite. And they even gave us a dessert on the house (flan and tres leches cake). The service was super friendly and did a great job. I have to see what it's like on a weekend. First off the cafe de olla we were served was cold. The food came out at different times and was also cold. If you're into over priced soggy tortillas cut into a tortilla chip shape with a sauce over them and small protein portion, then go for it. For me I'd rather spend $24 on a meal elsewhere. They raved that they were amazing. I had the chilaquiles al pastor and it was so good I ordered it again my second visit. The second time, I added a fried egg. The red sauce is ah-mazing. The horchata is delicious and creamy. The desserts are wonderful too. My fav is the coco flan. My son loves the chocolate cake that has the creamy filling. Even the tres leches cake impressed me. I had the verde enchilada with chicken, although delicious I like a little fire and it offered none. My friend got the Chilaquiles verde which she absolutely loved. Same sauce just a different meal. If you don't know what Chilaquiles are look it up, we had to. The atmosphere was delightful, small place, so I would suggest reservations especially on a weekend. They offer cocktails but limited to Moscow mules (mine was delicious) Pina colada's etc, no hard liquor or wine. Also non alcoholic beverages. I wouldn't say I would take a child there. Someone 12 or over is fine because the restaurant is small and the littles could be disruptive, but that would be your decision. I will definitely go back, I would love to try their breakfast items. The variety of chilaquiles is more than I've seen at any other restaurant. I want to try them all! The servers were very, very kind and did not over-check in us. We had to send back the coffee and the new ones we got were hot and actually tasted good. I ordered the pastry basket and it was ok; nothing fancy or extra special. She ordered the eggs and bacon. The eggs were pretty decent and the bacon was very good. Something we both found odd was the fact that when we went to wash our hands before eating; there was no paper towels in the bathrooms to dry your hands with. This was very odd as there was no blower or paper towel dispenser to dry your hands with. All in all the place has a nice vibe but in reality in won't return there again. We went in on Sunday for brunch, made reservations, waited for about 40 minutes before we got seated. The food? Well worth the wait. Plates came out perfect, fresh, and warm. The food is amazing. This was only their second Sunday being open, so the service for reservations I feel will get better when they get used to it. Will definitely go back as soon as possible.
