Sat outside, ordered a glass of wine & relaxed. I had the arancini, mushroom risotto covered in a crunchy shell with homemade mayonnaise. Wines by the glass are good and not just the usual chardonnay/pinot grig/merlot. For dinner, I loved the beef cheeks, fork-tender with a lovely sauce, and accompanied by the server's recommended red wine. And for dessert, white chocolate ice cream with a dark chocolate shell - yum!

We have certainly enjoyed food at other places on our trip but this was by far the best! Julien was an outstanding host who spent time translating the entire menu for us and then provided us several suggestions of fun activities for our teenage kids - including the address and phone numbers! Now, that's a host who takes care of his customers! Kim, our waitress, was extremely polite and offered much help with our ordering and wine pairing. And the food and desserts - wow. Everything - from our starters to our desserts - was delicious. Our family plays a game when we go out, after tasting everyone else's dish as to who ordered the best dish and, for this restaurant, we couldn't decide. Everything was literally that good! Thank you Julien and Kim for starting our time in Canada so perfectly.

This is a beautiful new restaurant in St. Sauveur. The old ornate large building it's in has been…read moretastefully restored and modernized, with a gorgeous large bar central to the space. The open kitchen is fully visible from the bar. The staff were all very professional, and while we try to speak French as much as we can, their English was great, so communicating was easy. We started with a couple of beautiful cocktails, and a snack of celeriac chips with a dipping sauce. Wow! I'd never had that before, and was surprised at how good they were. Then we each got the table d'hote which is a special being run in conjunction with a bunch of other restaurants in town. There were two items for starter, main, and one dessert, so we got one of each. The starters were a duck tartare, and mozzarella di bufala with roasted squash. Both were delicious. Our mains were a pork belly with zucchini, petal salad, cranberry gastrique sauce, and homemade pappardelle Bolognaise of tomato and beef short ribs ragout. Also both superb. Dessert was pain perdue (French toast) but not like you're thinking. Excellent! I think we've found a new favorite here in town. Highest recommendation.

I get it, it's Mont-Tremblant and there's definitely a "tourist" tax on prices, but even then, it's a hefty one compared to other restos in the area. Although the service was perfunctory, where it mattered the most - ahem, what's the recommended way to cook the meats on the hot plate, seemed quite lacking. It almost seemed like the recommendation was to fully cook every meat, which is almost certainly incorrect for most of what our group ordered. We tried it for the novelty, but I'm not sure I'd rush to come back.

Gave it a fun ambiance. Some of the food was great, but we had mixed opinions about the hot-stones. It was awesome for land meats, but a bit of struggle for shrimp. I will not go back, part of the dining experience is an engaged, happy server, they are definitely missing this aspect unless it seems you are a regular. This is the first time I have reviewed a restaurant that's how bad I felt after leaving.

This was my "nice" meal during my very short trip to Montreal last weekend, and it turned out to be…read morea great choice. There are 2 sides of the restaurant: the more casual order what you want brasserie side and then the fancier multi-course chef menu side. I chose the brasserie side, where I had a reservation for a bar seat - turns out that wasn't really that necessary as there were several individual bar seats open; A group would probably have a difficult time getting a seat on a Friday evening though. For drinks, I had a paper plane and a last word. Those are my two go to cocktails for nicer bars, and they pulled them off fantastically (they also knew what I was talking about which is kind of rare for the last word). For an extra nice touch, they clipped an actual paper plane to the paper plane drink. Fun! For food, I ordered the Duck Confit. It was super crispy on the outside, but the meat was super tender and juicy and melted off of the bone. My mouth is watering while thinking about it. It also came with bread service. For dessert I had the tiramisu. I would give it a 4/5 - it was a little more bland than others I've had - not bad at all, but not my favorite one of all time. They seem to be serious about their coffee (see pictures). Since I was sitting right in front of it I had to order one to go with the tiramisu. I had a basic americano, and it was a great addition. My only real complaint is the bar seating felt a little bit exposed as the main walkway through the restaurant goes along the bar seating. Drinks 5/5, Service 5/5, Food 5/5, Ambience 4/5
