Before hiring the owner, I told her that I was reluctant to hire another house cleaner because a previous cleaner had damaged items in my home without telling me. She assured me that her crews were vetted and very professional. Unfortunately, a similar situation happened again. During the cleaning, my plants were damaged and my stainless steel surfaces were scratched, despite the use of microfiber cloths. The owner initially offered to reimburse me for the damaged plant but later changed her position. In addition, I am still waiting for the return of the $40 I accidentally overpaid. What has been most frustrating is how these issues have been handled. This is about more than $40. It is about accountability, following through on commitments, and treating customers fairly. When belongings are damaged, an offer of compensation is withdrawn, and an acknowledged overpayment remains unreturned, it understandably undermines a customer's trust. Unfortunately, based on my experience and the way these matters have been handled, I cannot recommend this cleaning service.
