We wandered in when we couldn't find anywhere that was open. The food looked decent in pictures and I wouldn't have minded some Chinese food as their name implies; Nothing on the breakfast menu, served until 1300 was Asian.
We waited 20 minutes to order food in a half full and small restaurant, to which the manager would later tell us we should expect on a Saturday.
The waitress finally approached and, as my wife always does, she requested I order for both of us. When I told the waitress my wife wanted an orange juice, the waitress put her hand up in front of me and said "She has a mouth" and asked my wife what she wanted to eat. When the waitress asked me what I wanted, I tried to explain my wife prefers to have me order. This triggered the waitress to again hold up her hand and ask my wife what I wanted to eat.
Neither of our turkey sandwiches on croissants with cream cheese were flavorful. The orange juice was decent, but warm. The lemonade was sour and unpleasant.
I requested to speak to the manager and the manager didn't care that nothing tasted good. I told her I'd pay for everything but the tip, but the manager refused to remove that. To make matters worse the waitress stood behind her and smiled while saying "I'm not sorry." I was shocked as I listened to her taunting us with "I don't have a problem, you do! You can call the police, nobody cares!"
We've gotten good service all over Europe and this restaurant seems to be an exception in both service and quality. read more
