There may be a few other places in town, but none of them truly compare. My go to fillings are deshebrada, chile relleno, picadillo, chile colorado, chicharrón verde, colitas de pavo, and carnitas. Everything is seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of heat and spice. The menudo is always incredibly flavorful, and the tamales are outstanding soft, moist, and delicious, with the perfect meat to masa ratio. They're also very generous with the meat, which I really appreciate. The service is another thing that makes this place special. The staff is always friendly and efficient, keeping the line moving without ever making mistakes on orders a rare thing these days. You can feel how much pride they take in their work. On top of that, the restaurant is family-owned and has been passed down to the kids, which gives it an even more authentic, homey feel. One of my favorite things about this place is the ambiance.
