Pupusa de Queso con Chicharron and Pupusa de Queso

one of the best pupusas i have ever tasted! the cheese was sooooo stringy and had an amazing taste, also the masa of the pupusa was not too tough and not too easy to cut. i recommend this business because this food will change your life!!!!

1 pupusa , encurtido y salsita , 1 baleada sencilla.. ( has beans, cream and cheese)

Baleadas are sooo good ! I always order to go, but today we sat down and had dinner here, Had a Chicharon amd cheese pupusa and a baleada. They are very, very good. They served us tajaditas, chops and a couple of enpanaditas with some delicious green salsa and beans to start ( instead of your traditional chips and salsa) Great customer service and clean place. Highly recommended!

    so greasy yuck

My dad Ordered pork pupusas with no cheese and they came with cheese and the pupusas are very greasy and not tasteful whatsoever. The service was very rude speaking to him in English when he speaks Spanish and they're clearly Latinos and the inside of the "restaurant" is very messy inside and they attend you outside and don't even let you inside. wouldn't be surprised if there were roaches inside. All in all wouldn't come here for pupusas. I would recommend La panadería and pupuseria la sataneca on Atlantic

Platano Frito con Frijol y Crema

This was my second time trying this place, and I was impressed again. The food was extremely hot and tasted very fresh! The Platanos with beans and sour cream were cooked to perfection. The Pupusas were steaming, hot and generously stuffed. The cheese in the pupusas looked as they were in a cartoon with how cheesy and stringy and full they were as we pulled them apart. And the star of the show was the chicharrón with yuca plate -- the chicharrón was steaming hot and well balanced with meat on it vs skin! The yuca was a perfect combination with the salty chicharrón. Very unexpectedly, the owner began a karaoke session with everyone in the restaurant. It added a very fun vibe, and almost like as if we were in a family party. I highly recommend this spot and I will definitely be back. Lastly, a fun fact that the owner's son told me the first time I visited is that his parents are Central American and Mexican, which is reflected in the menu! So this place is very authentic.

Nasty oily revuelta pupusa made with cheddar cheese!

I've grown up eating pupusas being Salvadorian. These Pupusas are so nasty and greasy. They used cheddar cheese in the revuelta pupusa. What a sin! The curtido was bland and the tomato salsa was so watery and bland. I'm posting this review to warn anyone who knows how to appreciate salvi food. This isn't the place.

We really wanted to hear some latin music while we eat. We were dissapointed since the dj or live band was set to start late. It was already 1030pm, no music to vibe too. Just to give you a heads up, there are two locations. Long Beach and Costa Mesa. The one in Costa Mesa displays shows like Flocorica dancing and live latin bands. Long Beach, not so much Overall, the food, service and latin ambience was great. I would comeback and try again.

If you want good paella, do not come here…read more This was honestly the worst paella I've ever had, which was really disappointing because the restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere and live music. We ordered a half seafood and half meat paella, with added lobster and pork belly. Unfortunately, the actual food was terrible. Main issues: * The bottom of the seafood side was completely black and burnt instead of having a crispy socarrat. There's a huge difference between crispy rice and burnt rice. * The lobster was severely overcooked, burnt, and tasted terrible. * The pork belly was an extra charge, but there was barely any visible pork belly in the dish. It honestly just looked like tiny bacon pieces. * All of the meat throughout the paella was severely overcooked. Positives: * Our waiter was very nice. * The ambiance was good. * The live music added a fun vibe. * It was my birthday, so they gave me a complimentary ice cream dessert at the end, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, none of that made up for how bad the paella itself was.
