I have eating Mexican cuisine in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Tijuana, Juarez, Nuevo Laredo each place different and some lean more Tex-Mex while others give you authentic Mexican flare. I don't know what this place is but it isn't good. The saving grace is the service. Everything else is a horrible we are going to con these people into thinking this food is good. After dodging the usual burger‑and‑fries suspects, I stumbled across this spot and thought, Why not, let's roll the dice. I couldn't decide what to order, so an employee suggested the turkey plate. Cool. Sounds solid. Except where I'm from, a "plate" usually comes with maybe a vegetable or possibly a carb. Something that lets you know it's a plate. But nope. Not here. That's what I get for not asking (lol). What arrived was... a turkey wing. The wing and the drumette. Now don't get me wrong -- the wing was tasty. Crispy, seasoned, no complaints there. But calling it a "plate" felt a little ambitious. Good flavor, decent portion and a lesson learned: in Natchitoches, always ask what comes with the plate. ( Lol)
